Obamacare \”Essential Benefits\” Rendered Most Current Health Plans Obsolete
By Alan Joel Full Story
The great bait-and-switch of ObamaCare (“you can keep your plan and your doctor”) was intentionally orchestrated by the architects of the legislation.
There were thousands of policies offered nationwide that were good and even very good but now they can’t be sustained under the new Obamacare policy requirements.
Sam Muhho: The Neo-Imperialist Corporatist Order and the “Men Behind the Curtain” – email@example.com – Gmail
Vincent Harlow once wisely observed, “Men’s minds indeed conceive new thoughts and plan new projects, but out of ancient thinking and under potent influence of long-established characteristics.” This has been reflected in reality for both the positive but also for the negative.
A critical modern-day “negative” that is threatening humanity as we know it is the emergence of an increasingly transparent “neo-imperialist” order that is currently subverting the world and seeking to control the destiny of humanity in manners not unlike to what imperialism has done throughout the ages. This “empire”, unlike previous ones, is not serving the interest of a specific country or nationality but an international cabal of corporate-financier, self-proclaimed “globalist” elite operating from the Wall Street-London axis of power along with international bankers, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and related financial and political institutions.
A false political theater has been crafted by the corporate media serving as the public relations arm of this agenda. It is about time people escaped the media “matrix” marketing a singular agenda under different political labels and it is time to understand the international gambles this empire is playing with our collective destiny.
The Nature of the Empire
Contrary to misconceptions by many well-intentioned and aware people, this empire is not strictly an “American empire” in the sense that it is being done for the mere glory of America as a nation although the historical Anglo-American political and financial center of power is the driving factor. Rather, it is an empire that seeks the subversion of both the American people and the world by the creation of an international corporatist order where power is centralized in hands of a collective, privileged few expanding their control through the means of co-opted governments and force. The mechanisms of this modern empire are parallel to the mechanism of the British Empire historically and can be demonstrated in various sources of both scholarly and general analysis.
The parallel is found in manners such as the function of empires in general (albeit under different historical contexts), the role of “system administrators”, and also the manner in which the modern-day “empire” can be dismantled similar to the British Empire’s dismantling from the American colonies, all of which will be noted.
What cannot be understated is the role of this empire as an international corporatist order. Michael Snyder defines a corporatist order as one where:
Most wealth and power is concentrated in the hands of giant corporations and big government is used as a tool by these corporations to consolidate wealth and power even further. In a corporatist system, the wealth and power of individuals and small businesses is dwarfed by the overwhelming dominance of the corporations……………………………….

…..Clearly, ObamaCare was not designed to actually work. Obama’s promises have been broken, all of them. As a result, Obama’s individual approval rating has plummeted to an all-time low in the 30s and the congressional approval rating is bottoming out in the single digits.

Despite what you are being told, the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA), commonly known as ObamaCare, is already proving to be a resounding success. The problem, however, is that the majority of Americans don’t fully understand the objectives of this plan, or the roles of its architects and its defenders. Even the vast majority of conservative pundits in all venues don’t seem to ‘get it’ and consequently, are leading their readers and listeners astray by focusing on the wrong issues.
First, it is vital to understand that the ACA is not now, nor never was, about providing affordable health care. It is merely disguised as such.

It’s always better to light a candle than to curse the darkness, as Eleanor Roosevelt famously pointed out. But cursing the darkness instead of shining the light seems to be what we’re all doing these days.
Even shining a penlight into the inky darkness of political life in Washington, DC would show that we’ve been forced into the role of audience to the well-orchestrated Act that life in public office has gained over citizenry.
It starts by recognizing that the public office of the day is an entire, well-scripted, ongoing Act; an Act that keeps 90 percent of an unsuspecting and unwitting public at large in the dark without a match.

The Battered Public Syndrome Bryce Buchanan
The battered wife syndrome is a well-known psychological malady in which an abused partner stays with her abuser, thinking things would be worse without him. They think the separation would be more painful than the beatings and can\’t really imagine life without their man.
For some victims, there finally comes a time when they have had enough and they face the reality that this man is not good for them. He lies to them. He hurts them. Eventually, even his sweet talk falls on deaf ears.
Watching the news this week, I have seen clips of our president lying smoothly, comfortably, and repeatedly in his bait and switch sales pitch for the comically named Affordable Health Care Act.

Progressives expose their true nature when their slowly heated pot is categorically rejected by the frogs. The mirage of \”politics as usual,\” bipartisanship, and collegiality lasts only as long as men acquiesce in their own enslavement. Of course, a little public disagreement here and there is good for progressive optics, as it perpetuates the comforting illusion of open debate. But what if that little disagreement turns into an all-out refusal to go gently into that good night?
THE REALITY OF RISK POOLS AND PREMIUMS
Let's begin with a multiple choice question: If insurance companies are forced to offer health insurance to people with preexisting conditions, which of the following must occur?
1. People with preexisting conditions pay higher premiums due to increased risk to the insurers.
2. People without preexisting conditions pay higher premiums - subsidizing those with preexisting conditions.

There is a great divide in America. On one side, you have liberalism, voiced by a group of progressive Democrats that believe in greater government control of almost every aspect of our daily lives. On the other, there is conservatism.
More and more, conservatism is being voiced by the people who lean more to the libertarian side of the political spectrum. Many of us want nothing more than to be simply left alone. I’m still not there yet, but there is something that I need to get off my chest. Why does our party insist on eating its own?

The illusory promise of an easy shortcut to beating Obamacare will leave a bitter aftertaste, resulting in anger, a loss of trust, and even withdrawal from the political process. Needless to say, this complicates matters when you need to win the next two elections to have any hope of repealing Obamacare….

Electing the Enemy – Anti-American Philosophies Underlying Obama’s Policies
by LAWRENCE SELLIN, PHD August 5, 2013
The anti-American political philosophies underlying the policies of Barack Hussein Obama can be defined as the juncture of three ideologies: socialism, Islam and opportunistic racism to foster resentment among minority groups and promote race and class conflict as a lubricant for his radical transformation of the United States.
On face value, there would seem to be no more unlikely an alliance than between Western leftists and Islamists, the latter of whom emphatically and unambiguously reject virtually everything for which the socialist left has traditionally professed to stand: the peaceful resolution of international conflict; respect and tolerance for other cultures and faiths; civil liberties; freedom of expression; freedom of thought; human rights; democracy; women’s rights; gay rights; and the separation of church and state.
Not only have socialists proved to possess none of those beliefs, but, as David Horowitz has noted, they have been brought together with Islamists by the one overriding trait they do share — their hatred for the United States; their belief that our country is the very embodiment of evil on earth and, therefore, must be destroyed. While Islamic radicals seek to purge the world of heresies and of the infidels who practice them, leftist radicals seek to purge society’s collective “soul” of the vices allegedly spawned by capitalism — those being racism, sexism, imperialism, and greed.

What’s more powerful, the right to complain about government, or the right to reform it? Clearly, one right is more powerful, and indeed it’s that one which makes an American citizen who and what they are – a member of a society with the power to alter or abolish what it dislikes about government.
You’ll find very few Americans today who want to abolish the government we have, the one with three branches – legislative, executive, and judicial. What the vast majority want is to keep what we have, but address concerns regarding how it currently operates.
Go Back to the Original Constitution? –… “The State in America was brought into being in 1789 by a coup d’état.”
By Michael S. Rozeff
July 16, 2013
A great many Americans who are dissatisfied with various facets of America’s political system, laws, rights, and justice system think that a solution is somehow to go back to the original Constitution. They do not understand that the original Constitution is a major cause of the present woes and troubles. One man who recognized and explained this and related developments many years ago is Albert Jay Nock in his 1935 book, Our Enemy the State.
My intent in what follows is to present a few of Nock’s important ideas in brief statements. All occasional observations of my own are placed in brackets.
Every increase in State power necessarily accompanies a decrease in social power.
Increases in State power reduce the disposition among people to use social power and indoctrinate the idea that social power is no longer called for.
Ear tickling, entertainment, and irrelevant exposition… “There is no mistaking the fact that from before the American Revolution, after the American Revolution, throughout the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries, and through the first half of the Twentieth Century, the American Church was a major voice and influence in virtually every facet and sphere of American society. However, with the exception of a temporary resurgence in the 1980s, the influence of the Church in the last half of the Twentieth Century and continuing now into the Twenty First Century is nada. Zilch.”
At some point, one has to wonder why America’s churches are the largest block of irrelevant, impotent, and insignificant institutions in the entire country. And make no mistake about it: when it comes to influencing societal conditions, culture, and the political philosophy of the nation, for all intents and purposes, they ARE irrelevant, impotent, and insignificant.
Think about it: according to the latest available statistics, over 75% of America’s adults classify themselves as Christians. That’s over 159 million people. Over 43% of America’s adults attend the more than 300,000 churches regularly. That’s over 90 million people. Yes, both of these statistics are WAY DOWN from just a few years ago, but those statistics still represent a HUGE block of the American population. So why do these Christians and churches have so very little influence in America’s society, culture, and politics? Asking it bluntly, why is America going to hell in a handbasket with all of these churches dotting the landscape?

What Is True Conservatism?… “What’s worth noting, I think, is that many of those in the first camp consider themselves to be more principled and authentically conservative than those in the second, who are often derided as RINOs and “squishes,” as part of the much-derided “establishment” and who go along to get along. What Is True Conservatism?
In a recent column, Michael Gerson wrote about modern conservatism’s “two distinct architectural styles.” One approach within conservatism, he said, celebrates those who seek to apply abstract principles in their purest form. The alternative approach is more disposed toward compromise, incremental progress and taking into account shifting circumstances.
What’s worth noting, I think, is that many of those in the first camp consider themselves to be more principled and authentically conservative than those in the second, who are often derided as RINOs and “squishes,” as part of the much-derided “establishment” and who go along to get along. These politicians continually back away from fights like shutting down the federal government, preventing an increase in the debt ceiling, going over the fiscal cliff and filibustering background checks. The failure to engage these battles, and many others, is a sign of infidelity to conservatism.
Now, it’s not as if this critique never applies. There are certainly Republicans who claim to be conservative but don’t have deep convictions, who are in politics not because they care about advancing ideas as much as they care about power and titles. But what is of more interest to me is the divide over what a genuine conservative temperament and cast of mind is. A new book on Edmund Burke, by the British MP Jesse Norman, helps illuminate this matter. Given the contours of the current debate, it’s worth recalling what Burke, whom Norman refers to as “the first conservative,” actually believed.

I suppose I had wanted to begin this essay talking about a piece published back in January by Jay Bookman, “Second Amendment is Not License for Treason, Armed Revolt.”
I further suppose I had wanted to point out how, from a libertarian/market anarchist/voluntaryist perspective, it matters little what any amendment in any government document has to say about individual self-protection – it is an inherent and most obvious requisite of any human life.

Yet they choose time and time again the same seasoned politicians who have made a life-long career in Washington, greasing the wheels of commerce, national defense, justice, and legislation. Once elected, politicians become elitist residents of the insulated bubble of the District of Columbia.
