I suppose I had wanted to begin this essay talking about a piece published back in January by Jay Bookman, “Second Amendment is Not License for Treason, Armed Revolt.”
I further suppose I had wanted to point out how, from a libertarian/market anarchist/voluntaryist perspective, it matters little what any amendment in any government document has to say about individual self-protection – it is an inherent and most obvious requisite of any human life.

Voters on both sides of the aisle complain that their chosen representatives do not perform in office according to promises made during lengthy, expensive, and exhausting campaigns.
Yet they choose time and time again the same seasoned politicians who have made a life-long career in Washington, greasing the wheels of commerce, national defense, justice, and legislation. Once elected, politicians become elitist residents of the insulated bubble of the District of Columbia.

Yesterday, he vetoed Montana House Bill 302 (HB302). The bill would require the state to refuse to enforce or assist the enforcement of any federal bans on semiautomatic weapons or large capacity magazines. The bill states, in part:

The Law of Unintended Libertarian Consequences
Over the past forty-five years since becoming politically aware, I have vacillated between conservatism and libertarian thinking in contemplating the world around me. I never feel completely at home with either camp when living out my own minarchist tendencies. It is of course oversimplification, but the former seem to think that everyone wants to be like us, and that the impulse for liberty is the yearning of the human spirit.
Evidently they are not paying attention to what is happening in the nation and around the world where dependency is in full march. On the other hand libertarians seem to relish their contempt for my own deeply held Christian faith and view debauchery not as an unfortunate side effect of freedom (my attitude) but rather celebrate hedonism as the whole point of liberty.
Over the years in this column I have written about the American Empire. I have advocated jettisoning the Empire to save the Republic. This topic has sparked debate and controversy even among the most dedicated readers.
Usually the argument runs like this, “America is not an empire, never has been and never will be,” or “America’s far-flung military deployments are not the garrisoning of an empire it is instead a forward defense of the homeland.”In my most recent column along these lines, aptly entitled, “Republic or Empire?” in several publications, there was spirited debate about whether or not America could be called an empire. Some people seemed to take offense at the very idea.
Kent’s “Hooligan Libertarian” Blog… “Those who believe in government might as well be feeding us all, and turning us all into, Soylent Green. Because the truth of the matter is that their actions grind up individuals to feed others.”

Your life is worth only what it can do for “society”. You are not worth defending if it means “allowing” you to have an effective gun, and you can be destroyed for daring to disobey.
Amazon.com: Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder: Savage Solutions (9781595550439): Michael Savage: Books
Love him or hate him, Dr. Savage is certainly an interesting and compelling writer. He’s back once again touting his “borders, language and culture” mantra from the previous books. This is supposedly the final of this series.
The new spin this time takes his assault on liberalism to its ultimate and logical conclusion, asserting that extreme liberalism is in fact a mental disease–one in which logic no longer prevails yet emotion runs rampant.
The useful morons, as he calls them, flock like lemmings behind ideas that simply cannot work. He goes on to prove his points by citing hundreds of specific examples based upon remarkably well-founded research (the guy is an actual scientist after all).
It’s nice to see a little substance behind the political commentary.
He doesn’t just slam the left, as you might expect from the title, however. His vitriol takes a stab at the current administration’s handling of homeland security in general and our country’s borders in particular.
Savage’s fiery witticisms such as “more Pattons (i.e., the general) and less patent leather,” “one dirty bomb ruining your whole day,” and “oil for illegals” aren’t really as funny as he thinks they are and frankly got pretty annoying after a while. Regardless, the underlying message is pretty well-written, consistent, and insightful.

The “bottom line”
If you are just a normal, average person like me who, after doing your own careful research of our current state of affairs and refuse to rely on the so-called experts who are enslaving us and our future generations through unchecked spending, then you need to prepare.
You need to quit listening to the very people who put us in our current financial predicament, realize that both political parties are responsible, and understand that the lie is bigger and more dangerous than you realized.
There are no “safe” banks, no “safe” investments, no pensions or investments that will remain unscathed, and nowhere to run to escape what’s coming.
We have been set up as victims and what we are experiencing, and will experience in ways that few can comprehend, is the result of a deliberate plan devised long ago. Understanding and exposing it is an integral part of our fight, and we must fight so we can survive past it.

The Obama administration has appointed a bipartisan presidential commission with the stated purpose of recommending changes in election procedures supposedly to streamline our elections. No fewer than five bills to increase federal control over American elections have been filed in the 113th Congress. Even a cursory review of the five bills already proposed reveals an unconstitutional federal power grab over American elections. If these measures are passed, they would also result in a drastic reduction in the remaining electoral safeguards left in at least some of the states.

Many of you will know where I am headed with this, but I believe it is time we took a long and hard look at the education system in this country. Could it be we have abdicated our rights as parents and leaders of our community to educate our children as we see fit? It may be happening in places where we would least expect it.

Leaderless Resistance by Louis Beam

published in The Seditionist #12, February 1992
written in 1983
The concept of Leaderless Resistance was proposed by Col. Ulius Louis Amoss, who was the founder of International Service of Information Incorporated, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Col. Amoss died more than fifteen years ago, but during his life was a tireless opponent of communism, as well as a skilled Intelligence Officer.
Col. Amoss first wrote of Leaderless Resistance on April 17, 1962. His theories of organization were primarily directed against the threat of eventual Communist take-over in the United States. The present writer, with the benefit of having lived many years beyond Col. Amoss, has taken his theories and expounded upon them. Col. Amoss feared the Communists. This author fears the federal government. Communism now represents a threat to no one in the United States, while federal tyranny represents a threat to everyone . The writer has joyfully lived long enough to see the dying breaths of communism, but may, unhappily, remain long enough to see the last grasps of freedom in America.

Death 0f America: Leaked US Army Document Outlines Plan for Re-Education Camps in America Video | Politics
A leaked U.S. Army document prepared for the Department of Defense contains shocking plans for “political activists” to be pacified by “PSYOP officers” into developing an “appreciation of U.S. policies” while detained in prison camps inside the United States. Is the current Gun Grab the event that puts this plan into action?
In our time, political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible. Things like the continuance of British rule in India, the Russian purges and deportations, the dropping of the atom bombs on Japan, can indeed be defended, but only by arguments which are too brutal for most people to face, and which do not square with the professed aims of the political parties. Thus political language has to consist largely of euphemism, question-begging and sheer cloudy vagueness.
Defenseless villages are bombarded from the air, the inhabitants driven out into the countryside, the cattle machine-gunned, the huts set on fire with incendiary bullets: this is called pacification. Millions of peasants are robbed of their farms and sent trudging along the roads with no more than they can carry: this is called transfer of population or rectification of frontiers. People are imprisoned for years without trial, or shot in the back of the neck or sent to die of scurvy in Arctic lumber camps: this is called elimination of unreliable elements.
…..If you disagree with the idea of reincarnation, or a plurality of heavens and hells, or karma being a biblical teaching, or reaching a state of salvation while still on this earthly plane, then by all means disregard such things—whatever floats your boat. I am writing about them because they are concepts that have helped me on my spiritual path, and I share them in case they may be of use to others.
Whether you pick them up or kick them to the side is all the same to me—they are trifles compared to that which is important. What is important is, as I said earlier, that we share a belief in an afterlife and a system of reward and punishment. The reality of divine reward and punishment used to be commonplace knowledge in this country—not anymore—and we see the results of such atheistic hubris all around us in the breakdown of morality and promulgation of depravity.By this point you may be asking yourself “what in the world is an article like this doing in a venue devoted to conservative politics?”
The answer is that while it is all fine and good to debate the various pros and cons of liberal and conservative ideologies, we are just spinning our wheels unless we address the real issues that lay at the heart of such matters—and it is no hyperbole to say that the fundamental and most important difference between the liberal and conservative viewpoints centers around how they each treat the topic of God and spirituality. If you are under the impression that religion and spirituality play no part in political strategies, let me hasten to point out that there are many atheists and leftist radicals who would strongly disagree with you.
President Obama’s response to the mass murder in Newtown, Connecticut, reeks of opportunism and hypocrisy. It was, is, a callous, coldblooded, heartless effort to take advantage of a horrific event for political gain.
Prior to the mass murder in Newtown, Obama and the Democrats paid lip service to the issue of gun control in the U.S. and basically ignored it and stayed as far away from it as possible because there was no political advantage in taking it on and because taking it on could have hurt them substantially politically.
Virtually as soon as the first shot was fired Obama and the Democrats tugged on the nation’s heartstrings and began advocating for gun control as loudly and forcefully as they could. Not only was that callous, coldblooded and heartless, it was also transparent and despicable…taking advantage of childrens’ deaths for political purposes…it doesn’t get much lower than that.

I feel a tremendous responsibility to write this article though I am a little apprehensive. Thinking about the possibility of rising up against our own government is a frightening thing for many of us. I am not Johnny Rambo and I will be the first to admit that I do not want to die. The reason I feel compelled to write this, however, is simply because I don’t think the average American is equipped with the facts. I feel that a lot of American citizens feel like they have no choice but to surrender their guns if the government comes for them. I blame traditional media sources for this mass brainwash and I carry the responsibility of all small independent bloggers to tell the truth. So my focus today is to lay out your constitutional rights as an American, and let you decide what to do with those rights.
