From the Web
We take communication for granted because if we want to talk to someone we have multiple ways of contacting them: home phones, cell phones, email, and instant messaging. We are used to instant gratification by calling or texting and pretty much getting an immediate response from virtually everyone on our contact list.
EXTREME CAUTION !!!!!
O’ PINHEAD !!!!!
But after all the electronic infrastructure is gone, how will we get in contact with people? Cell phones, landlines, and the internet will be useless. However there are multiple radio options. Which ones will be of the best use and which ones will be basically useless?

Turn on Rush Limbaugh’s radio program IMMEDIATELY!
He’s hinting Obama is INSANE!
Calling into the Y94 Morning Playhouse radio show, Fargo-area resident “Donna” aired her frustrations about a number of deer-related car accidents she has been involved in recently – three to be exact.
Donna believes the North Dakota and Minnesota Departments of Transportation are responsible for the problem, however, she told the radio hosts that she has written local news outlets about her grievance and they refuse to take her seriously. It’s extremely frustrating to Donna as she believes she has crafted a very simple and effective solution to her problem.
Liberal talk show host blames FRC shooting on ‘gutter Christians’ who went ‘too far’

The “ filthy, degenerate, gutter Christians” at the Family Research Council inspired last week’s shooting by “going too far” with their pro-family activism, according to a nationally syndicated liberal talk show host.
“You filthy, filthy right-wing b——-ds, you’re going too far!” Mike Malloytold his audience last week. “One of these days somebody’s going to go berserk and walk into one of your filthy holes of religious insanity with a gun.”
The media-news site JimRomenesko.com reports on Facebook comments by Fort Myers (Fla.) News-Press reporter Mark Krzos, who summed up his disgust as he covered Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day: “Such a brave stand … eating a g-ddamn sandwich.”
“I have never felt so alien in my own country as I did today while covering the restaurant’s supporters.
The level of hatred, unfounded fear and misinformed people was astoundingly sad. I can’t even print some of the things people said,” he claimed. Then he bashed talk radio:

St. Louis Bans Local Brews from Festivals: Home brewers in St. Louis who made hundreds of gallons of beer for this past weekend’s St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival are going to have a lot of extra brew on their hands after the city banned them from participating on Monday.
You awake one morning this summer to a radio alarm that startles you out of bed with blaring white noise instead of music or your news show. Annoyed, you soon discover that you can’t tune in any stations at all, not even on the other radios in your home. It isn’t until you determine that there’s nothing on the television but snow and “Cannot find server” messages online that you become concerned.
You phone your job; at least the phones are working. The receptionist suspects something is amiss, but they’re as clueless as you are as to what the cause might be. As far as they know, it’s business as usual, so you plan to go in.
Outside, it’s quieter than normal. As you leave your home, a brief conversation with a neighbor indicates that this is even more widespread than the city. Again, he’s pretty clueless, but mentions that a friend of his who was about to go out of town called and said his flight had been canceled. In fact, the friend said all flights out of town had been canceled.
No one gets much done at work that day. You learn that the telephones are only operating locally; whether land lines or cell phones, no one is able to place calls outside of the local area. Several co-workers who had work-related trips scheduled also had their flights canceled with no explanation. All day long, people on the job attempt to learn something, waiting for the radio, television, or Internet to go live again, but nothing changes for the remainder of the day. Some go home, others don’t want to be alone, so they remain. You hear a few more sirens than usual, and a call to emergency responders affirm that they don’t know what’s going on either, and they’re only responding to 911 calls.
Memphis talk radio host Thaddeus Matthews insulted and humiliated Republican congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann during a recent interview. He ended the interview by saying, “get your stupid, ignorant ass up out of my studio.”

Always loved this 1947 Phil Harris record – when I was a kid it was regularly being played on BBC radio…the henpecked husband being chased by an angry wife wielding a rolling pin was a staple figure of comedy in the 30s, 40s and 50s…hence the plaintive plea to the woodman.
Who is Rush Limbaugh Afraid of?
Posted on Friday, November 18, 2011 9:58:33 AM by wiseprince
Apparently during this whole Sandusky scandal Rush Limbaugh answered a caller by saying who couldn’t give the answer he wanted to give because he would no longer have a radio show or a career.
I heard this interview talking about what Rush said and I don’t know what to make of it. Does anyone have the transcript of Rush Limbaugh saying that there is someone who is afraid to speak against because they could get him fired? To me this is a big deal and we need to flush out exactly what Rush was saying (or was he just tweaking everyone)

FBI begins recording call-ins (talk radio):
Next time you call a talk radio station, beware: The FBI may be listening.
The FBI says it is not playing Big Brother by policing the airwaves, but rather seeking access to what airs as potential evidence.” The agency’s reasons for recording all these radio programs don’t get any clearer as the news report goes on. No doubt that is intentional.

This week, Rush Limbaugh celebrated his 23rd anniversary on national radio, but his happiness was tempered by the Congressional “debt deal.”
The ladies of “The View” returned to their weird obsession with Rush Limbaugh, when their all-female panel rehashed old accusations and anecdotes about Limbaugh’s alleged “racism” (FREE audio).
The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh! He knows everything so he can’t be wrong can he? I’m sure I missed the announcement that Limbaugh is moving out of America as he always implied he would; remember “I’ll tell you when it is time to panic.”
I can only conclude Rush is right. Isn’t he? I mean because Rush and a seemingly endless parade of conservative “thinkers” have said so, I must now put my pitchfork away because there is no use in trying. Rush told me so. He’s not wrong, right?
By Limbaugh’s thinking the few of us who want to fight should give up and stay home next year. That will give us 300 Democrats in Congress and 80 seats in the Senate so Franklin Delano Obama to finish us off. But giving up is all that Rush can say so that’s all we need to know.
I know I’m giving not up even though Rush said I should. YES we got kicked in the ash by this deal, but I really don’t give a damn what Limbaugh or anyone else says about what the future of my country will be. It will be up to me and other TEA partiers to save America and that is what we will do.
Rush might think we will accept “It can’t be fixed because it is in the budget from last year and the year before that and so on,” but he is very wrong, very wrong indeed!
Limbaugh can sit in a mud puddle sucking up dirty water, feeling sorry for himself and, but I’ll keep fighting. I have a family to protect and a nation to preserve so I don’t have the luxury of self-pity…..

Like most of you, I realize you can’t agree with every TV or radio talk show host on every issue. However, we see the push and necessity to support our own and lift the banner of conservative common sense high, especially with this radical regime in the White House.
As a national radio talk show host therothshow.com, I realize all too much the sound bite theatre, ratings pressure and competition, even jealousy among radio and TV hosts. I am a growing host and have done national radio and TV for years…I understand ego. At the very least hosts want to keep their jobs, grow big and make lots of money during their careers.

his radio program this morning, Glenn Beck described that the Left read: Obama et al are using the Internet/cellphone blackout in Egypt as a lab of sorts, to apply the lessons learned there about controlling and inciting a society to riot, chaos and breakdown, with the goal of ultimate regime takeover. His monologue tied in closely with the lead in my weekly column about the Internet at WorldNetDaily.

I would imagine that some Right Wing-other than the acceptable liberal radio stations would be shut down or can they? Can you My fellow FR conspirators think of methodologies of maintaining connections to information which can not easily be cut off by our government agencies? In some countries, people have taken over Radio and Television stations but that requires physically attacking and provoking Police & Military action at some point.Put on your thinking caps and lets see if there are any of you out there that can devise a plan of action for such an event. My one thought so far is that the government might not shut down the telephone system immediately because that would directly affect so many people that that act in itself would be more devastating to citizens than would the loss of the internet. Therefor a “Tweet” link could be our own second line of information. I’m not sure if the “Tweet” system involves the internet in any way. Is it independent of computer technology and strictly Phone System dependant?Since I don’t “tweet”, I just don’t know the answer to that question. Can you devise other ideas? and let us share your ideas “Just in Case !”

This is an outrageous violation of journalistic standards and ethics by management that has no use for a diversity of opinion, ideas or a diversity of staff (I was the only black male on the air). This is evidence of one-party rule and one sided thinking at NPR that leads to enforced ideology, speech and writing. It leads to people, especially journalists, being sent to the gulag for raising the wrong questions and displaying independence of thought.”—Juan Williams on his firing from National Public Radio
Obama’s Boss Buys NPR

Soros’s OSI is using the project to target state governments, as he is doing with his nefarious SoS campaign. National Public Radio—financed partially with public funds and partially through individual and corporate donations—in theory has a rule that its reporters may not engage in politics. Having listened to NPR and a variety of other news outlets for years (in order to attain some semblance of perspective and balance) and having admittedly donated money to my local NPR station in the past, I have noticed a disturbing trend in their national reportage.
Biodiversity: Replaces Climate Change As The Weapon For Political Control
By Dr. Tim Ball Full Story
The reality that global warming and climate change are natural and current patterns are within historic patterns is taking hold. Fundamental common sense embedded in the majority of people joined with truth pursuers and the healing perspective of time to bring reason. As always, those who profit politically, financially, or both, fight a rearguard action. Partly to defend the misdirection, but often to move the focus, while maintaining the target. Some of these different foci hover around the edge of the main battleground, but most are unaware how they’re interconnected.
Western Jihad, Anwar al Awlaki & “the Saudi Factor”

As Americans, we were promised by President Bush that everyone responsible for the wholesale murder of nearly 3000 of our family members on September 11, 2001 and those harboring or aiding them would be brought to justice. Sadly, that promise was only partially true under the Bush administration, and demonstrably untrue under the current Obama administration. It is currently hindered by an unprecedented level of conflicts of interests within the Holder justice department.

Conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck kicked off his “Restoring America” tour in New Jersey to a modest crowd of around 700 people. And, it has now come to light that Glenn Beck and his staff listen to Alex Jones’s radio show for ideas. What does Jones think about a big star from the highest rated cable news network using his ideas? Well, he isn’t honored.
Art Vanick, co-author of The Spalding Enigma, Who Really Wrote The Book of Mormon, makes an appearance on Out of Mormonism to address the Glenn Beck Restoring Honor Rally.Andy, Art, and Roger discuss the ramifications of the rally from a biblical Christian perspective.
Do Christians understand that Mormonism is different than biblical Christianity?[ These are two separate "Out of Mormonism" radio podcasts from Mesa, Arizona. Talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh said today that as far as loyalties go for Barack Obama, he is a “foreigner.”"Let me put it this way,” Limbaugh said. “We don’t need a birth certificate to know that Obama is a foreigner, in this sense:
He’s born in the United States, but he doesn’t think like most of us think. He doesn’t look at this country and its people, its history, its accomplishments the way most of us do.
He doesn’t look at our history with pride.”Limbaugh, who on occasion has referred to the controversy over Obama’s eligibility, continued,
“There’s no American exceptionalism as far as Obama’s concerned.”
This has been the thing I’ve been trying to convince people of ever since just before the election,” Limbaugh said.
THE AWESOME POWER OF THE INTERNET AND HOW IT CAN KEEP US FREE“
Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth.” — President George Washington
The internet has connected people who would likely never have met otherwiseby Ron EwartSept. 28, 2010 — During the Revolutionary War it took almost a month for any news of the war to reach Europe by sailing vessel. Local news was delivered by courier, on foot or on horse back and was distributed by the newspapers of the day.
In the rural areas of the colonies, war news took days or even weeks to reach the inhabitants.During the Civil War, news reached newspaper outlets in the urban centers by the telegraph, or a little less rapidly by train. In the 20th century, with the new technology of radio and eventually TV, the news reached the people virtually instantly. But never have the people of the planet been able to obtain so much news and information and communicate, discuss and debate that information amongst themselves, individually, until the Internet and e-mail was born. The World Wide Web has brought the citizens of the world together like no other time in history. Never before have the roots of freedom been able to reach almost anyone in the world with a computer and internet access. Radio Free Europe was a flea on the behind of an elephant, in comparison to the millions who are now wired into the Internet.Internet technology has allowed a discourse between all the peoples of the Earth, of every single issue that confronts mankind. It is government’s worst nightmare and some rogue governments have shut down Internet access to the citizens of their country for this very reason.
Beware the government that would limit, manipulate or exploit the free flow of information and individual communications on the Internet, including the American government.
Wherever one goes today, multitudes of teens and young children can be seen avidly imitating and idolizing the vast array of musicians and their decadent, chic culture and lifestyle. Television, satellite radio, iPods and the internet have revolutionized and intensified the accessibility to this hypnotic, godless spirit 2 Cor. 4:3-4; Eph. 2:1-2.
America’s youth in particular are being intoxicated and brainwashed at an exponential rate with Lucifer’s subtle and godless message of “Do as Thou wilt.”What is even more tragic is the majority of “out to lunch” parents who are totally oblivious and gullible about the damnable influence this culture and its demonic propaganda has over their children. These are messages of godlessness, anti-authority, licentiousness and promiscuity, immorality, vice, drug use, suicide, anarchy, violence, rape, “godless good,” delusional aspirations and fallen human hopes apart from the Creator in righteousness. These OTL parents are just as delusional and are products themselves of the same brainwashing and narcissistic tactics used by the Devil in the decadent and subjective 60’s music culture.

I am listening to Sean Hannity and I’m fuming. He’s defending Gen. Petraeus’ weak-kneed position on the burning of Korans… and Hannity’s not seeing the bigger picture. ”This Koran burning will put our troops in harm’s way!” he screams.
Ummm, Sean, they already are in harm’s way. And no matter how fierce the fight, how dangerous the battle, that’s what our military is trained to do. That’s why they are in “harm’s way”.
Only when liberals are in charge can terms like faith, hope, charity and sacred honor be classified as hate speech. Our ever increasing lexicon now includes “Becklash”; defined as an entirely irrational reaction to a TV and radio commentator’s well attended non-political Restoring Honor rally in Washington.
Misery Merchant, Al Sharpton is the architect of Becklash. Always desperately seeking relevance, Sharpton saw an opportunity in exploitation when he realized that the date of Beck’s long planned event was the same date that Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his legendary “I Have a Dream” speech.Sharpton would do well to actually read the text of Dr. King’s most famous speech before staking it out as the exclusive territory of the poverty pimps. Dr. King was pretty unambiguous in his call to judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character. The professional race baiting community has had it backwards for decades, operating on the divide and conquer platform also favored in the Soviet Union. Splitting a nation along racial lines has, historically, been an effective mechanism for weakening the country.Liberals relish assigning humans to groups which they then anoint with special victim status for the purpose of being used in their destructive power schemes. Liberals are obsessed with race.
It harkens back to the old Soviet Union days in which blacks were openly recruited as operatives by the Kremlin to be exploited in the cause of destabilizing American democracy. Leftist policies will never be accepted by free people if the people know what they are.
Liberals can only get their agenda through if they induce discord and chaos among the populace.Sharpton took the moribund race hustling industry to its lowest point by staging an embarrassing “counter rally” on 8/28.SEIU was unable to round up more than a handful of attendees. While Beck had asked his attendees not to carry signs, the Sharpton rally was infested with offensive signage. The tone, predictably enough, was angry. The same old moth-eaten “no justice, no peace” sloganeering was the best they could do.Charles Krauthammer and others described the Beck crowd as akin to a very large church picnic. The media, always entirely dependable, debased itself with its patently absurd coverage of the event. CBS proclaimed that the rally was attended by 87,000. Credible reports place the numbers between 300,000 and 750,000. Not a single incident. And the grounds are as clean, if not cleaner, as they were when the crazy mob of tea baggers got there.Sarah Palin defined the event’s goals quite neatly: we’re not here to change America, but to restore America.
On his radio show this morning, FNC host Glenn Beck talked about his upcoming rally at the Lincoln Memorial. Just how many attendees would it take for Bill O’Reilly to hand over the 8pm hour to Beck? Watch:
