(CNSNews.com) – At an event officials say was planned before the attacks in Libya that killed four Americans on Sept. 11, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Libyan Ambassador to the U.S., Ali Aujali, celebrated the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan at the State Department on Thursday.
When I arrived in London in September it had been more than forty years since I had last spent any time in the city
Police procedures mandate that Muslim officers be included on the scene in cases where Islamic “sensitivities” might be an issue.
This is what London has come to. Halal food in all schools. No eating in front of your Muslim colleagues during Ramadan. Special accommodations for Muslims in public buildings. Officially sanctioned Sharia courts.
And above all, no “racist” speech. Muslims may gather and scream “Death to those who insult Islam!” with impunity. But a non-Muslim who objects to the spread of Sharia may be arrested, charged, convicted, fined, and slapped with an Anti-Social Behavior Order (ASBO) forbidding him from taking part in any activist events for several years.

The following quotes from Obama should let you know exactly how he feels.
“To the millions of Muslim Americans across the United States and more — the more than one billion Muslims around the world, Ramadan is a time of reflection and a time of devotion. It’s an occasion to join with family and friends in celebration of a faith known for its diversity and a commitment to justice and the dignity of all human beings. So to you and your families, Ramadan Kareem.”
“This evening reminds us of both the timeless teachings of a great religion (Islam) and the enduring strengths of a great nation. Like so many faiths, Islam has always been part of our American family, and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country, in all walks of life. This has been especially true over the past 10 years.”
“Nor let us forget that every day for these past 10 years Muslim Americans have helped to protect our communities as police and firefighters, including some who join us tonight. Across our federal government, they keep our homeland secure, they guide our intelligence and counterterrorism efforts and they uphold the civil rights and civil liberties of all Americans. So make no mistake, Muslim Americans help to keep us safe.”
“…because no matter who we are, or how we pray, we’re all children of a loving God.”

The ubiquitous prayers broadcast from mosques nationwide during Ramadan usually fade into the background for those not inclined to join in them. Until one day they don’t.An American expatriate living in Lombok for 15 years apparently reached the end of his rope on Aug. 22, when police say he barged into a late-night prayer session with his shoes on, unplugged a microphone and may have even hit one of the worshippers.Police and witnesses said he was lucky to escape with his life as enraged worshippers chased him, then ransacked his house.Luke Gregory Lloyd, 64, escaped a beating but is being held by police on suspicion of blasphemy and violating his visa, the deputy chief of the Central Lombok Police, Comr. Lalu Mahsun, said on Monday.
“This man really angered residents of Kuta village in Pujut, Central Lombok,” Mahsun said.“On the night of August 22 he stormed into a musholla [prayer facility] and berated locals who were performing the Tadarus,” the traditional reading of the Koran that goes late into the night following special 9 p.m. Ramadan prayers.“He entered with his shoes on and then unplugged the microphone used by locals to recite the Koran,” Mahsun said.
“We believe he even hit one of the worshippers because, according to him, they had interrupted his sleep.”Mahsun said the local religious affairs office would need to decide whether Lloyd had committed blasphemy, which is illegal. If officially named a blasphemy suspect, he will face further questioning.
