I offer the single most politically incorrect statement a modern American — indeed a modern Westerner, period — can make: I look first to the Bible for moral guidance and for wisdom.
I say this even though I am not a Christian (I am a Jew, and a non-Orthodox one at that). And I say this even though I attended an Ivy League graduate school (Columbia), where I learned nothing about the Bible except that it was irrelevant, outdated, and frequently immoral.

I say this because there is nothing — not any other work, religious or secular, or body of work — that comes close to having played a role like the Bible’s in forming the moral basis of Western civilization and therefore the basis of nearly all moral progress in the world.

I began writing this piece on “Good Friday,” the day upon which we Christians remember the crucifixion, death, and entombment of Christ.
Christians have waited since for the sun to rise on this Sunday, Easter morning.

Today, Easter Sunday, we rejoice as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection, his victory over death, hell, and the grave. The Christian faith is founded upon the events of the period from Christ’s arrest until his ascension.
Sadly, today the tenets of the Christian faith have been turned and are now being used by those of little or no faith against the Christian Church.
Where are the Christian warriors? (Maybe we need a modern day Knights Templar organization to confront those who have turned America on its head. Just a thought.)

Look. The very word “Christian” means “Christ-like.” There is very little in America that could be classified as Christ-like today. In fact, America reassembles Sodom and Gomorrah more than a nation that subscribes to the teachings of Christ.

It has been stated that if you will not listen to God’s Ten Commandments, you will listen to man’s 10,000 commandments. And man’s 10,000 commandments can be seen today through the thousands of unconstitutional, un-American policies and measures forced on the American people on a daily basis. As one would expect, unconstitutional government produces bondage rather than liberty. Charles DeMontisque rightly said, “Liberty is the right to do what the law permits.”

So, one weekday morning last year I got up with the chickens and went to the 8:30am Low Tridentine Mass uptown. It started out normally enough. In processed Father with one server.
Father looked a bit flat-footed, but then this particular priest is pretty old, so one doesn’t expect a Fred Astaire-like gait from the quasi-elderly. It wasn’t until the consecrations of the Host and Chalice that it became clear that something was terribly, physically wrong with Father.
At each genuflection he had to slightly twist his body and almost lay his upper body on the altar in order to genuflect, bearing much of his weight on his elbows both on the way down and on the way back up. It was obvious with each genuflection that Father was in excruciating pain. I sat in my little spot in the back of the church, at once horrified by the obvious physical distress I was witnessing, but also deeply moved by the courageous perseverance and uncompromising love for Our Lord that Father, seen by only the half-dozen or so people in the nave, demonstrated.

Tea Party groups continue to grow and organize across the country. The people are waking up. Even many progressives, Democrats and black folks are snapping out of their well-meaning stupor as they see one freedom crushed after another by this regime. Increased taxes, unemployment and compromised health care are hitting the left also. That simply wasn’t the deal offered by Obama. Liberal and conservative seniors are suffering.

At around 10:00 AM, Wade Michael Page, a 40-year-old from nearby Cudahy, Wisconsin, arrived in the temple parking lot and started firing at the temple’s inhabitants using a pistol purchased several days earlier.
He then entered the temple and continued his killing spree until he was gunned down by police forcesthat arrived to the site. At that point, he had already killed six worshippers and a police officer.[1]

The crazy Frenchman died long before IQ tests were concocted, but had they been available in the early 1800’s his score might have been one of the highest of all time. However, even high IQ nerds can have mental breakdowns, and also minds full of nutty and destructive ideas. The Frenchman’s nutty idea was to control the future of the whole world and all people–not just in his own lifetime, but forever. He expected to be in control long after he was dead because once his system was accepted, he claimed, it could never be destroyed.
The best thing to do about the crazy Frenchman and his loony ambitions would have been to ignore them. However, in his lifetime and since his death in 1857 there have been opportunists of all description who liked the idea of designing the future—especially since the crazy Frenchman wrote thousands of pages to explain every step needed to accomplish the goal. He did the heavy philosophical thinking and planning. All that the followers and lesser lights had to do was read the books and stick to the plan.
I told you the Frenchman was crazy, but he certainly was not stupid. He did know how get to people’s emotions and control their thoughts and actions. First, he devised what he called the ruler science, social science. Then he invented his own religion, the Religion of Humanity, to destroy all other religions. That’s it! That was the whole plan! The rest of his writing is “how-to” explanation. It is very boring and difficult reading, but fascinating to self-appointed world savers, managers and religion inventors. Even though you might not share the fascination, I do hope you will try to understand where his nutty ideas are leading.

In John chapter three, Jesus tells us that he didn’t come into the world to “condemn the world”. He didn’t have to, for the world, which rejects the Father and “His only begotten Son” was and is already condemned. All men are continuously condemned by God’s law, as well as by their consciences which tell them, that they are not right with God.

One thing that concerns to public school educ(rats) is the growing home school and Christian school movements wherein Children are taught to think and not to just follow the establishment’s socialist program. They are prescient enough to realize that, some years down the road, this could be a problem for them and their system and so they would love to find some way to shut it down. Every years in state legislatures around the country someone is always introducing a bill that will hamper or hinder private education and home schooling in some way.
Precious Promises of the Book of Mormon
Many years ago I stood at the bedside of a young father as he hovered between life and death. His distraught wife and their two children stood nearby. He took my hand in his and, with a pleading look, said, “Bishop, I know I am about to die. Tell me what happens to my spirit when I do.”
I offered a silent prayer for heavenly guidance and noticed on his bedside table a copy of the triple combination. I reached for the book and fanned the pages. Suddenly I discovered that I had, with no effort on my part, stopped at the 40th chapter of Alma in the Book of Mormon. I read these words to him:
“Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, … are taken home to that God who gave them life.
“And … the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow” (Alma 40:11–12).
As I continued to read about the Resurrection, a glow came to the young man’s face and a smile graced his lips. As I concluded my visit, I said good-bye to this sweet family.
I next saw the wife and children at the funeral. I think back to that night when a young man pleaded for truth and, from the Book of Mormon, heard the answer to his question.

You may do all in your power to put the thought of death away from you. However, you cannot escape the fact that you must die. You KNOW that you must die and face God. Maybe the reason you are reluctant to think about death is that you also know that judgment follows death as surely as night follows day. I an seriousness, could I possibly press a more sensible or important question upon you than this — What is going to happen to you when you die?
Conscience, common sense, and the Bible all declare to you that there is an eternity that you must face. As you read these lines, you know I speak the truth. You know the above text of Scripture is as true as can be. If you and I were talking over a cup of coffee, you might grin and say, “Ah com on John, you are just trying to scare me.” However, as you think about the words DEATH…JUDGMENT…ALL MEN, your “heart of hearts” deep inside of you is saying to you this very moment, “Sure, man, he’s telling it like it really is. I must die and face God my Creator.”

Athletics is a game…life is life-and-death…and many parents invest all of their energy in things that really are of little importance. “Straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel” is how Jesus described much of our lives.
The more football one watches the more he tends to believe that he is an expert in strategy. These are the guys who are known as “armchair quarterbacks” because they love to make decisions from the safety of their living room. Most fans love to practice “20-20 hindsight”….describing to anyone who will listen how he would have done it…once the play is over. My coaching experience tells me that second-guessing is a lot easier than first-guessing. Believe me; after the play is over I know if the call had been a good one. The last thing I need is some guy with a Budweiser and pizza stains on his shirt explaining to me what I should have done.
Wouldn’t life be so much easier with do-overs? How many times in life have you wished you could use a mulligan? Usually the big decisions are just that…decisions. Only the second-guessers get to guess. The real decision-makers have to pass the test on the first try. The Coach only gets one chance at that 4th-and-goal call………….

‘I Apologize on Behalf of America’: On Saturday morning, Illinois Democrat Congressman Mike Quigely made a surprise appearance at the American Islamic College Conference in Chicago. The unaccredited college is the first of its kind in the United States.
Quigley gave remarks to the primarily muslim audience. He rambled on about the typical racism and discrimination that the liberal left is so convinced America is rampantly infected with. As you can see in the video below, he proceeded in his congressional capacity to apologize on behalf of the country for discrimination against muslims’ faith.

We asked her where she had gotten this dollar bill. She said it was part of her change in Alamosa , CO .

America’s New God
On June 26th, the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.was the latest church to be used for the promotion of syncretism—the attempted union of different religions. The idea was that “Christian” ministers, Jewish Rabbis, and Muslim Imams would co-lead a service in “Christian” churches around America using a multi-faith liturgy.
Sadly, 70 other churches across America signed on to do the same thing. The event was organized by a group called “Faith Shared.” It comes as no shock that the service was designed to promote “religious tolerance.” This is indeed a major step forward in promoting what I believe to be America’s new god of tolerance.
The major problem with this false god of tolerance is that it is not marked by the true love that genuine Christians believe in and are called upon to exercise. Love of others, regardless of their background, religion, or complexion, should be expressed in offering hospitality, and even service, but not at the expense of the truth. Loving people and selling out on the truth of one’s faith are two different things altogether.
These liberal “apostate” denominations are not only naïve and ignorant of the truth of the Christian faith, they are acting on emotional impulse in a way that ultimately endangers our nation. They are seeking to engender personal acceptance from others, rather than imploring others to accept Christ as the Savior.
You may be wondering how a service that promotes “unity” could be dangerous to our nation. What many Americans do not understand is that Islam is not just a religion. It is a political and social system that is inseparable from the state. Islamic Sharia [law] is to be administered by Muslim caliphates or successors of the prophet, not a secular government. Indeed the founder of Islam was not only their prophet, but also their commander-in-chief, ruler and unifier, something they have been longing for again since the fourth one died and created a division between the Shiites and the Sunnis.
Also, what most of these naïve souls don’t understand is that Taqiah is a religious/political principal in Islam that allows Muslims to go along with this charade of mixing and mingling religions, something that is normally anathema to them. Taqiah says that when you do not have the upper hand, go along with the infidels’ schemes until you get the upper hand, and then subjugate them.
Has anyone noticed that none of these events are ever held in a Mosque? It is an anathema to have a Christian minister speak in a Mosque, but they are happy to occupy the pulpits of hapless Christians in American Christian churches. Indeed, it is considered a triumph of Islam over the infidels when they occupy Christian pulpits without opening their Mosques to Christian preachers.
Be that as it may, Bible-believing Christians should love everyone, including Muslims. That love can be expressed in a variety of ways: acts of kindness, hospitality, and friendship. Above all, there can be no greater act of love by true Christians than to share our most prized treasure with our Muslim friends. Only Jesus Christ can meet their most desperate need by making a personal relationship with God possible. He came to earth from Heaven, took on the form of a servant, died on a cross, and rose again on the third day.
For true, genuine, and Bible-believing Christians, this is the greatest act of kindness that they can express to all people, including Muslims.
During this month of Ramadan, as Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, all Christians need to pray that Muslims come to know the only One who is the way, the truth, and the giver of eternal life.

Demons—Spirits of a Pre-Adamic Race?
According to this field of thought, a pre-Adamic race existed on the original Earth before it became “dark and void” (Genesis 1:2). These humanlike creatures lived under the government of God and were presided over by Lucifer, the “anointed cherub that covereth” (Ezekiel 28:14). When these pre-Adamites joined Lucifer in revolt against God, a cataclysm fell upon Earth, physically destroying its inhabitants. Only the spirits of these beings survived to roam the earth disembodied. This is offered as an explanation for why demons desire to possess humans, as they were meant to be “housed” in bodies of flesh and are uncomfortable otherwise.

Since little is known about life outside the limited sphere of our planet, a growing body of people contend that intelligent life forms may have been visiting earth from distant worlds or parallel dimensions since the beginning of time. Some Bible expositors have picked up on this concept, blending it with traditional demonology and suggesting that demons are perhaps entities from another world (or reality) whose structure, like ultraviolet rays, are invisible to the human eye, but nonetheless distinct in atomic design.

Jehovah’s Witnesses Governing Body explains why God is Delaying Armageddon
According to the teaching of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, their global evangelical work is the fulfillment of Revelations 7:9…The Jehovah’s Witnesses in their teaching, claim that the “Great Crowd” in Revelation refers to ordinary members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization and that they are different from a special select group of “144000″ represented in the present world by the leadership of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization referred to in affected modesty as the “discrete slave class.” The special class of 144,000, according to the Governing Body of the Jehovah’s Witnesses which sets the doctrines and teachings of the group, will rule as spirit beings with Christ in heaven while the “Great Crowd which no man can count” have no hope of going to heaven but will live forever in paradise on earth under the government of Christ and his “spiritual brothers” that is, the 14,000
According to the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jehovah God has largely completed the gathering of the anointed 144,000 which began with the down-pouring of the holy spirit on Pentecost and members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses leadership are the remnant of this specially anointed and privileged group. The present global evangelical work of the Jehovah’s Witness is God‘s program for ingathering of “sheeplike ones” (as distinct from the rest of us “goat-like” ones whom God will destroy in the battle of Armageddon) who will be earthly subjects of God’s Kingdom ruling from heaven. Only those who accept the gospel as preached by Jehovah’s Witnesses and become part of “Gods visible organization on earth,” i.e. the Jehovah’s Witnesses, will survive the prophesied Armageddon in which God will destroy all non-Jehovah’s witnesses (as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at Armageddon).
But why is God delaying execution of judgment on us wicked folk for so long? The 1914 Generation which is supposed to see the end of this “wicked system of things” has passed, yet God is withholding his wrath against the stiffnecked majority of humanity who have refused to join themselves to Jehovah and his only true organization on earth.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses leadership claims that God has in recent times been speeding up the growth of the Watchtower Society to fulfill the ingathering of “sheeplike ones” from all nations, tongues and races, a “Great Crowd” which no man can count and who will survive Armageddon into God’s new paradise on earth. (They make this claim even though statistics show that in recent times the rate of growth of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization has slowed down significantly.) Watchtower Magazine, explains:
JEHOVAH is now speeding up the ingathering of sheeplike ones. Surely, then, this is no time for his people to slow down in their Kingdom-preaching and disciple-making work. (Isaiah 60:8, 22; Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) ? Indeed, increased witnessing activity by so many more publishers and pioneers is now stirring up the world field. And the momentum of this joyous ingathering will yet grow.?Isaiah 60:11?
A quick calculation by jwfacts.com website shows, however, just how monstrously faulty the Jehovah’s Witnesses excuse for God’s delaying of Armageddon really is. According to the site, on the average, more than 200,000 people are born worldwide , but the daily increase in Jehovah’s witnesses as at 2005 was only 224 persons. This means that for each day Armageddon delays God will have to destroy approximately an extra 200,000 people.
Surely, Jehovah God would do better to speed up Armageddon and get the gory job done rather than delay endlessly!
