In another break from Republican Party orthodoxy, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has said that America’s illegal immigrants should be integrated into the tax system in a program that would eventually lead to the possibility of citizenship.
Speaking about immigration issues at the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Paul said “Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport” the millions of illegal immigrants living in the United States en masse.
“Prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into becoming and being taxpaying members of society,” the Tea Party leader and suspected 2016 presidential candidate added.

Whether you supported Ron Paul or not, I believe this video is worth watching if for no other reason than the implications that it brings to light.

We have forgotten what a Republic is. Our Constitution is being dissolved before our eyes and we remain silent. We have a former Speaker of the House who doesn’t know the 11th amendment from the 14th…whatever.
Worse yet, we want the government to take care of us and, in exchange for this false sense of security, we have given up much of our freedom, and will keep giving it up until there is no freedom left. It is inevitable if we don’t change course.

Governor Romney recently referred to the takers and givers in this nation and the role that played in his loss. Governor Romney was the candidate who emphasized individual responsibility over handouts. After he made his comments, he was attacked by Republicans! They are misguided, not Romney. He sees the direction we are headed in better than they do.
Some in the Republican Party are playing politics with reality in an effort to pander to the takers that they foolishly think they can win over. That thinking is dangerous. We need them to be clearheaded and courageous.
President Obama is a narcissist and that point can’t be emphasized enough. He sees all the world as an extension of himself. For example, he does not care enough about our embassies and diplomatic missions to provide them with security, but lest you think he doesn’t have time to consider those things, take notice of all the protection he and those close to him have.

The fact that the token clown of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama is even on the ticket blows my mind. Only four short years ago this skinny, inexperienced, mouthy, lying con artist with the business acumen of a house fly was running from state to state bashing George Bush and the Republican Party from one end of the country to the other.
He railed on how he would be different, how he would end the wars, how he would close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, how he would generate much needed jobs and save the failing American economy, how he would improve the living standards for the average American family and the list goes on and on. Nothing but lies told to get elected with an even longer list of failures in office.

Ron Paul is getting a hearing from young voters and old ones. Both age groups think the two major parties are corrupt.
This is not limited to the United States. Across Europe, the established parties are facing revolts.
This is a prelude to real political change. The voters did not care until it hit their wallets. Now they care. Too late. The politicians ran up the debts. These debts are coming due. No one has a solution.
There is only one solution: the Great Default. It’s coming.
In the meantime, the political parties face defections. Voters have lost faith. They see the politicians as liars, which in fact they are.

Here is the situation in Greece.
Mass defections from the ruling parties by the elderly, once their most loyal voters, will lead to a crumbling of support on May 6, pollsters say. About 30 percent of Greece’s 9.85 million strong electorate – 2.8 million – is over 65.
At the other end of the spectrum, legions of young voters are also turning their back on the two parties that have taken turns ruling Greece for the last four decades. About 15 percent of the electorate – 1.4 million – is 18 to 29.

We have not been alone in suggesting that the nomination of any Republican candidate other than Ron Paul would essentially amount to a second term for President Obama.
One of the key reasons for why Ron Paul has consistently won over 20% or more of Republican voters during the primaries is because he is considered to be unlike any other candidate out there – a rebel, a true maverick. For Paul supporters, the thought of having a President Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich is no different than having another four years of President Obama. These views are shared by millions of Americans who see no difference between the tax and spend initiatives, foreign policy, and liberty restricting legislation supported by republicans and democrats alike over the last three decades.
As such, these millions of Americans, many of whom were involved in the original grass roots Tea Party movement prior to its annexation by the broader Republican Party, refuse to be tricked again by a politician who talks a big game with promises of limited government, tax cuts, spending cuts, and a return to Constitutional values, but fails to deliver anything but more of the same once they are elected.
This presents quite a conundrum for Republican Party candidates and the prospect of removing President Obama from office come November. Ron Paul supporters, many of whom have adamantly refused to vote for anyone but Paul for President, have unequivocally and en masse put the establishment on notice: Either you join us and make Paul the nominee, or Obama wins in November because we’re staying home on election day.
In a recent Ulsterman Report interview, a long-time DC operative and Obama administration insider shares his insights on the matter. Among other things, Insider argues that Romney, Santorum and Gingrich are nothing like Obama, and that rather than focusing on destroying the credibility of republican primary candidates, the focus needs to shift, fully and completely, on removing President Obama from the White House.
I’ve read the comments by people sayin’ they are conservative. If Romney gets the nomination…or if Gingrich gets the nomination…or if Santorum gets the nomination…whoever gets the f-cking nomination – they are sayin’ they won’t vote for them because “they’re just like Obama.” Really? Is that right? BULLSH-T. There ain’t nobody “just like Obama” people. Believe me. You ain’t got a f-cking clue if that’s what you really think.
This country ain’t seen anybody reach the White House like Obama. Or more importantly – the people around Obama. The ones supporting and pushing Obama. Giving him the agenda, the words, the whole f-cking plan.

Gerson’s tone is dripping with venomous hatred when he accuses Ron Paul of being some kind of nut by calling the Civil War “senseless” and of saying that Lincoln ruled with an iron fist. Generations of historians have also called the Civil War “senseless” or something similar. “The bumbling generation” is how some historians describe the Civil War-era politicians who plunged the nation into war, the most preeminent of whom was Lincoln himself. But when Ron Paul refers to the war in that way what he has in mind is the true historical fact that all other countries of the world that ended slavery in the nineteenth century – including most of the Northern states in the U.S – did so peacefully. The British, French, Spaniards, Dutch, Swedes, Danes, and others ended slavery in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, all of Central America, Mexico, Bolivia, Uruguay, the French and Danish colonies, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela without resorting to the mass murder and destruction of war. There is much diversionary discussion by both the establishment mainstream media and by some enthusiastic Ron Paul supporters concerning the possibility of an independent or third party campaign for the presidency if Dr. Paul does not obtain the Republican Party 2012 nomination.
I believe this discussion is entirely counter-productive.
The media shills put forth this effort to further marginalize and diminish the serious electoral threat to the GOP power brokers the Paul grass roots insurgency campaign represents. The loyal Paul supporters, while unquestionably dedicated and enthusiastically behind the good Doctor, are incredibly naïve and clueless as to what such a campaign would entail…..

FDR, like all of the social progressive presidents (and one unconstitutional usurper) before and after him, did not oversee a free market economy through a “truly-free and honest” free enterprise system. They manipulated the US economic system based on the tenets of dictatorial mercantilism. The mercantile economic system, created by Alexander Hamilton and fashioned by America’s first dictator, Abraham Lincoln, the Jacobin Whigs and the Free Soilers who merged into what was named the Republican Party. Mercantilism prospered through the Civil War as Lincoln waged a civil war not to end slavery, but to destroy States rights and force the States to succumb to the edicts of the federal government. But it was a small victory since the States retained the power to kill any bill offered by the House (although the Jacobin Republicans unconstitutionally ratified the 14th Amendment that bound the States with the same Bill of Rights restrictions the bound the federal government.
(The following, while not pertinent to the discussion on contemporary politicians attempting to further erase the Constitution, sheds additional light on the fraudulent ramifications of the 16th and 17th Amendments which is pertinent to this discussion..) When the Jacobins proposed the 14th Amendment, only the northeastern industrial States, which wanted federal supremacy over the States from the birth of the Republic, flawlessly voted to ratify it. The States viewed the 14th Amendment as the abrogation of States rights. In the South, the Amendment was ratified at the point of a bayonet. Fearful of the federal government which had just concluded a 4-year civil war to establish federal supremacy, most of the States which submitted flawed resolutions of the proposed 14th Amendment knew they would have to be rejected by Secretary of State William H. Seward. Instead, Seward simply ignored the flaws which made almost every resolution a different amendment, and certified the 14th Amendment as lawfully ratified on July 28, 1868.
Why would the States do that when they could have simply rejected it? Because the federal government………………….

Sherman’s War of Extermination
As soon as the War to Prevent Southern Independence was concluded the U.S. government commenced a new war against the Plains Indians. On June 27, 1865, barely two months after the end of the war, General William Tecumseh Sherman was given command of the Military District of the Missouri, which was one of five military divisions the government had divided the country into.
There was never any attempt to hide the fact that the war against the Plains Indians was, first and foremost, an indirect subsidy to the government-subsidized transcontinental railroads. Although he is called the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln embarked on a war that led to 620,000 deaths and the destruction of 40 percent of the American economy, not to free those held in slavery, but to centralize power in Washington, create “the American System” of Henry Clay and build an empire.
So says Thomas J. DiLorenzo, author of The Real Lincoln, which has the subtitle: A New Look at Abraham Lincoln, His Agenda and an Unnecessary War.
DiLorenzo turns the myth that surrounds Lincoln on its head, and uses Lincoln’s own words and actions to do so. DiLorenzo writes that:
“According to one source, more than 16,000 books have been written on virtually every aspect of Lincoln’s private and public life. But much of what has been written about Lincoln is myth… Anyone who delves into this literature with an open mind and an interest in the truth cannot help but be struck by the fantastic lengths to which an entire industry of ‘Lincoln scholars’ has gone to perpetuate countless myths and questionable interpretations of events.”
DiLorenzo examines many of those myths in this book.
Lincoln was a proponent of Henry Clay’s American System (taxpayer subsidies for railroads and corporations and infrastructure improvements) for 28 years prior to becoming president. As a Whig Party and later Republican Party activist, he pushed that agenda.
He thought of himself as the heir to the Hamiltonian political tradition, which sought a much more centralized governmental system, one that would plan economic development with corporate subsidies financed by protectionist tariffs and the printing of money by the central government…………………….

…In the end of your book, you talk about how things don’t seem to change. What do you see as the future of America? Do you see us getting worse before it gets better?
Right now, the people in charge of the government remind us every day that they are the Party of Lincoln. They’ve stretched Lincoln’s philosophy to say that not only should we wage war within our own country ostensibly for democracy, as Lincoln said in the Gettysburg Address, but we should wage war all around the world to force democracy on people, whether they want it or not. Not just in Iraq. They’re talking about invading the entire Middle East, for starters, to bring democracy there, as though it were any of our business.
That is empire. Any country that has had a big empire like that has always been bankrupted. If that’s the road we’re going on, I think it’s the road that Lincoln started us on. Look at what the same government did. Immediately after the War, they commenced a campaign of ethnic genocide against the Plains Indians. That was all part of this plan to have a continental empire.
Now, these people think we need to have a world empire. It’s un-American. The Founding Fathers would have fought another revolution over this.
What do you think will happen?
It seems to me that the American public has been dumbed down so much by the government schools that they’re just going to go along with this until it either bankrupts us all or we make enough enemies out there that September 11 will seem like child’s play. You can’t do this without making a lot of enemies in the world. That’s my biggest fear — that we won’t get rid of these Sons of Lincoln who run the Republican Party.

Seriously, the only way it could, would be secession. If a big chunk of the United States actually seceded from the federal government and pained it a bit and deprived it of a large amount of its revenue. Otherwise, how else could it possibly happen?
Could it possibly return to limited government roots? I can’t see how it could possibly happen.
I’m not very optimistic anymore. I was more optimistic when communism fell. I never thought I’d see communism collapse in my lifetime. But, I was thinking for a while, well, if it could happen there, we can get rid of our rotten system. But, the Republican Party, which is in power and in control of things, worked out the direction. They, now, no longer oppose the welfare state. In fact, they’re expanding it because they want to win the votes from all the people on welfare.
Sons of Lincoln. I keep having to say it.

Grand Ole Tyrants by Thomas DiLorenzo ~ “What would cause a president to wage war on his own citizens whose liberties he had just pledged to protect?”
The very first public statement that Abraham Lincoln made after being inaugurated as the sixteenth president was an ironclad defense of slavery: “I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.” He then quoted the Republican Party platform of 1860 that said essentially the same thing; pledged his support for the Fugitive Slave Clause of the Constitution “with no mental reservations”; and supported a proposed constitutional amendment (the “Corwin Amendment”) that would have prohibited the federal government from ever interfering with slavery. In fact, it was Lincoln who instructed William Seward to see that the Corwin Amendment made it through the U.S. Senate, which it did (and the House of Representatives as well).
In the same speech, Lincoln promised a military invasion and “bloodshed” in any state that refused to collect the federal tariff on imports, which had just been more than doubled two days before his inauguration. “[T]here needs to be no bloodshed or violence, and there shall be none unless it be forced upon the national authority,” he continued. Thus, mere minutes after taking an oath to protect the constitutional liberties of American citizens, Abraham Lincoln threatened to orchestrate the murder of many of those same citizens.
What on earth was he talking about? What would cause a president to wage war on his own citizens whose liberties he had just pledged to protect? Lincoln explained in the very next sentence: “The power confided to me will be used to hold, occupy, and possess the property and places belonging to the Government and to collect the duties and imposts; but beyond what may be necessary for these objects, there will be no invasion, no using force against or among the people anywhere” (emphasis added). He promised to murder American citizens over tax collection.
