The question is not, “Is America falling?” but, rather, “Why is America falling?”
I’m currently writing from CPAC 2014, the nation’s largest gathering of conservative political junkies. The event is being held at the beautiful Gaylord National hotel, adjacent the scenic shoreline of the historic Potomac River. We’re just a few short miles from Washington, D.C., which, at least for now, remains the modern-day equivalent of the Roman Empire.
Rethinking the Articles of Confederation… “THE REAL PROBLEM is the constitution which was, itself, nothing but a coup d’état — the overthrow of a perfectly good de-centralized “government” and the establishment of the monster we are dealing with today. — jtl, 419″ | Flyover-Press.com
An excellent weekend read that will further your education and help you understand why THE REAL PROBLEM is the constitution which was, itself, nothing but a coup d’état — the overthrow of a perfectly good de-centralized “government” and the establishment of the monster we are dealing with today. — jtl, 419

An assumption that dominates American historical studies is that the wealth and prosperity of the country would be much less without the existence of a powerful central government. This theme is but part of a larger, and now international, orthodoxy that larger political jurisdictions, as long as they are “democratic,” foster liberty and economic growth while smaller ones stifle it.
The Secret Media War of 2012… “The growth in alternative media readership as well as independent political and economic thought from the Ron Paul Campaign educational effort have almost reached the tipping point thus making the past public control function of the media establishment a lost cause. Adding up the alternative media readership numbers and Paul’s GOP vote percentages primarily from younger voters spells disaster for the establishment. ” by Ron Holland
His campaign is using the closed two-party control structure and their media gatekeepers previously utilized to control public opinion and elections against them. For example the state presidential primary and caucus system, televised debates and related campaign news coverage formerly was a GOP establishment monopoly. Today thanks to the Internet, it has become the Trojan horse used by Paul’s campaign and liberty supporters to get inside the closed walls of the GOP to educate millions of Americans about freedom and free-market ideas.
The establishment news media has been powerless to stop this infiltration so the real battle in 2012, isn’t the visible political campaign but rather the hidden impotence of the media elites to protect the establishment control. This is why the media so hates and fears Ron Paul.
His campaign is the new road map for how pro-liberty candidates and forces together with the alternative media can and will eventually defeat the power elites main protectors and gatekeepers, which is the media establishment.
The Wednesday night GOP Presidential debate could well be the last in this campaign cycle. In fact, it could be the last GOP presidential debate in your lifetime if future freedom candidates follow the Ron Paul model of turning a major campaign into an educational effort against the GOP establishment.

Spartacus is a 1960 American historical drama movie directed by Stanley Kubrick and it is based upon the novel by the same name written by Howard Fasti am spartacus 1
There was a phrase in the movie, “Spartacus” starring Kirk Douglas as Spartacus, which has captured movie goers imagination and is now part of the American lexicon.
Spartacus was a lowly slave who had an indomitable spirit which yearned for freedom. He led a successful rebellion by raising an army of slaves to oppose the Roman tyranny. After the army of former Roman slaves, led by Spartacus, was finally defeated in a decisive battle by several legions of the Roman Empire, a Roman general stands before the captured surviving members of the slave army and demands that they turn over Spartacus. If the slaves identify Spartacus, they live. If the slaves keep Spartacus identity secret, they will be executed. Upon hearing the Roman General’s threat, and trying to prevent his friends and followers from being executed, Spartacus stands up and proclaims “I am Spartacus.” However, the loyalty of his friends and followers is so overwhelming, that each of them comes forward in succession, shouting “I am Spartacus!” The proclamation that “I am Spartacus spreads until the shouts grow to thousands of former slaves each proclaiming “I am Spartacus!”

Why does it seem like America is getting crazier with each passing year? It has become glaringly apparent that very deep corruption has taken root in our society from the lowest levels of society all the way up to the highest levels of society. In fact, some of the worst behavior of all is being exhibited by those that are supposed to be “examples” for our young people – politicians, bankers, lawyers, CEOs, etc.
As we enter 2013, the American people are greedy, selfish, boastful, proud, arrogant, disrespectful, ungrateful, materialistic, unforgiving, without self-control and they are completely and totally addicted to entertainment.
They believe that America will always be “the greatest nation on earth” just because of who we are, and they believe that the rest of the world should look up to us as a bright, shining example of everything that is good in the world. Meanwhile, we lead the world in a large number of negative categories and our society is decaying right in front of our eyes.

Most of the legitimate ones are gone, having been replaced with dictatorships, oligarchies, or fake “republics” that fool people with charades they refer to as elections and whose results have already been predetermined long before the “election” takes place. We recently had one of those in the United States.
There is a place for legitimate governments in God’s economy, governments that fulfill their God-ordained duties and functions and do no more than that. When I talk about the kingdom of man (the state) I am not referring to those few governments that do this. I am referring to all those governments run by men who think they are, or wish to be “god” in their own countries and around the world. Such people and governments are at war with God’s Kingdom. As horrendous as things look at this point in history, this is a war that those who seek to be “god” cannot win. They will always, at some point, lose, even if we do not live to see it.
At some point in the future, most likely during the Tribulation Period, nations like Russia, China and in some form, the United States, will employ space-based weapons. The Russian goal for space before 2030 is establishing a base on the moon.
According to the document to the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, Russia plans to run an orbital lunar station and maintain large spacecraft and inter-orbital spaceships on near-Earth orbits by 2020. The military potential in all of this is obvious.
…..Those of you who have been following along with me for any amount of time know my expectation has been we would see the European Union, which I believe to be the revived Roman empire foreseen by the prophet Daniel (or a forerunner thereof), move into position to play a prominent role in end times affairs.
…..In military affairs, there are economies of scale. An army of warriors makes conquest cost-effective. There are also taxation advantages. An army of tax collectors makes tax collection cost-effective. “Hand over your money” is more effective. Pretty soon, you’ve got an empire.
“Sic Semper Tyrannis”, latin for “Thus Always to Tyrants,“ is the rallying cry against tyranny dating back to the Roman Empire with the utterance of this phrase by Marcus Junius Brutus upon the assassination of Julius Caesar. This simple phrase has been used by countless European nationals as a cry to arms for independence from their oppressive monarchs, as well as others down through the ages since first spoken two thousand years ago.
To give an American context to this phrase, John Wilkes Booth immortalized it as he leapt to the stage from the Presidential Box after mortally wounding Abraham Lincoln at Fords Theater 147 years ago, and it is the motto for the state of Virginia.
Throughout history, man has always sought self-determination as a God-given or natural right as they struggled against the rule of man through kings, royalty, and monarchs. This nation was founded upon the principle that man, given the ability, the will, and means to do so, could flourish under self-rule and the rule of law. Flourish, we have; the amount of economic growth and wonders this nation has seen in its short existence of only 236 years is astounding and has not been rivaled in history.

What you think you know about Christianity is a lie. The gospels we use now are “rehashed” Roman Empire propaganda, not the pure word of Christ.
As much of Christ’s real words as possible were destroyed.
The real Gospels, Nag Hammadi, Thomas, Magdalene, some from the Dead Sea Scrolls, never to be released or translated, kept like nuclear secrets, Christianity today is a game.
The real Christian world is the Middle East. The first real Christians were from Palestine, all Jews who converted. Very few Jews left Palestine, there is no record of it, no “exodus” to the remote areas of the Roman Empire to live among the Visigoths in 200AD.
This is cartoon religion and less than cartoon history.
Christianity in the Western Empire, Rome, Britain, Gaul, disappeared. It first returned with St. Patrick in Ireland and Irish monks returned Christianity to what we call Britain, France and even Italy.
There was no pope in Rome. There was no Rome. Go there. It had been taken down stone by stone, abandoned, no water, no food supply, nothing left.
The Visigoths visit Rome to do their thing
Ninety five percent of the world’s Christians lived in the Middle East, Judea or Palestine, Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Persia. For hundreds of years there was no Muslim religion.
Glenn Beck, National Decline And The Story Of The Roman Empire

In my last installment in this series I argued that talk show host Glenn Beck was raising legitimate concerns about the state of the nation, but that he had a history of predictions of imminent disasters which did not pan out. Why didn’t they? After all, the left really does have a strong totalitarian bent. No nation is guaranteed eternal life, let alone eternal prosperity and hegemony. And the United States is, indeed, aggressively moving in the wrong direction.
So why didn’t the dollar collapse? Why is it still the reserve currency of the world? Why don’t we have hyperinflation? Why did gold stall and then fall last summer? Was there a food shortage? Nope. Widespread urban violence?
We are seeing the classic battle for control and power by the Obama regime and international forces behind him. It is the same evil force that inspired the legendary, Roman Empire that emerged as a super power, thousands of years ago. We all remember Ben Hur and the famous Gladiators. They almost seem now days like a fable or movie script in history. Instead, the Romans were wealthy, dominating and vicious. They were known for attacking and destroying any independent voices who rose up. Thousands of Christians were tortured, burned, hung on crosses and fed to the Lions. Belief in Jesus meant that the Romans as the ultimate power source were threatened.
It would be easy to know how to defend America if enemy forces were invading our shores. But how do you defend a nation that is rotting from the inside out? How do you eradicate the internal decay that is eating away at the heart and soul of this nation a little bit more every single day? Just like we saw happen with the Roman Empire, the internal rot that is eating its way to the surface threatens to bring us down as a nation. Greed, corruption, gluttony, lust and pride have become national pastimes. We are addicted to debt, food, entertainment and pleasure. We have been taught to hate those that look different from us or that believe different things than we do. Society is literally coming apart at the seams and the federal government is increasingly implementing “Big Brother” security measures in an attempt to maintain control and keep us “safe”. We have far more people in prison than any other nation on the planet and yet things just keep getting worse and worse. So how can we fix America? How do we rescue a nation that is rotting from the inside?
It is absolutely crucial that we acknowledge just how bad things have gotten. Simply getting the right political party into power will not save America. Neither will implementing a new political system or a new economic system. America’s problems are deeper than that. The very core of America is deeply sick, and once we admit that, then perhaps we will start focusing on some real solutions.
The following are 40 signs that America is rotting from the inside out….
But the America of today, makes the founding fathers turn over in their graves. The last American President to govern according to the constitution, was William Howard Taft 1909 – 1913. Taft was later appointed as the Chief Justice of the United States in 1921, by President Warren G. Harding.Woodrow Wilson 1913 – 1921 turned America from a Republic into a global empire, similar to the Roman Empire. He imposed the income tax on the American people, and also pushed through the Federal Reserve Act, which lead to the weakening of the American dollar over the following decades. He sent young American men to die in a useless war in Europe World War One, the first time that America had intervened in a European War.
Woodrow Wilson’s participation in World War One caused the horrible conditions in Germany, that led to the rise of Hitler.America was not established as a nation that was to give free stuff to people, using other people’s money. But today, welfare, prescription drugs, medicare, etc, are seen as “civil rights”. The unconstitutional health bill is now part of American law………………………
If any President tried to limit government spending, to create a lean federal government, as the founders had intended, Congress would impeach him.
Towards Martial Law in America: Authority to Deploy Troops Domestically during ‘National Emergencies’
Earlier this month, the United States Coast Guard upheld its self-declared status as a ‘special’ branch of the military with the ability to prosecute civilians in military tribunals. This startling declaration, unreported in the media, came in a Decision on Appeal related to the case of Lieutenant Eric Shine, a commissioned Naval officer in the Merchant Marines and a graduate of Kings Point Military Service Academy, and was penned by the Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard.
The decision can be downloaded and read here. The Coast Guard began proceedings to strip Lieutenant Shine of his merchant mariner license in March, 2003, supposedly as the result of incidents related to his service on two private vessels in 2001. In actuality, as Lieutenant Shine points out, the charges were brought in retaliation for attempting to blow the whistle on illegal dumping and other practices he had been asked to engage in during his employment. The Coast Guard’s case against him rested on two hostile witnesses who had previously been named by Shine in his whistleblower litigation and the Chief of the Coast Guard Medical Evaluations Office, an officer in the Coast Guard who had never examined Shine but was willing to testify to his medical incompetence.
Download an interview with Eric Shine about his case, the Coast Guard and the open implementation of martial law hereThe precedent-setting nature of Lieutenant Shine’s case—with the Coast Guard prosecuting him as an alleged civilian in an Article 32 military tribunal—is disturbing enough. But when this case is set in the history and context of the Coast Guard and its repeated attempts at “crossing the Rubicon,” an even more disturbing picture emerges. In 49 B.C., Julius Caesar led the Roman Legion across the Rubicon and into Rome itself, defying the Roman Senate and soon thereafter declaring himself Emperor for life. This was the beginning of the changeover from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire and the phrase “Crossing the Rubicon” is now used to refer to a move by government toward military dictatorship and the suspension of civil liberties…
Last Tuesday, Dr. Thomas Sowell was interviewed on The Rush Limbaugh Show by Walter Williams, who was serving as guest host. During this interview, Williams inquired about Sowell’s opinion of direction that America is heading in .
“Are you optimistic or pessimistic?” Williams asked. “Pessimistic, and I am fighting off becoming despairing,” replied Sowell.
Sowell’s words should not be taken lightly. As a recent Investor’s Business Daily editorial about Sowell said, “Doomsters are a dime a dozen. But when a leading economist who’s been called “the nation’s greatest contemporary philosopher” sees serious trouble ahead, we’d better listen up.”
The editorial went on to explain: Sowell sees the national equivalent of a “perfect storm,” a gathering of “dangerous forces that have been building .. . for at least a half-century.” Yes, he says, our great nation has weathered many storms. But, he quickly notes, so did the Roman Empire before it collapsed.
“Is that where America is headed?” Sowell asks upfront. “I believe it is. Our only saving grace is that we are not there yet – and that nothing is inevitable until it happens.”……
The Obama administration “is not the root cause of the ominous dangers that face this country at home and aboard,” Sowell says. But “it is the embodiment, the personification and the culmination of dangerous trends that began decades ago.
Moreover, it has escalated those dangers to what may be a point of no return.” Sowell has recognized the danger of Obama’s radicalism and has been sounding the alarm for over the past year.
