So just who the hell is this guy Saul Alinski?

Before Obama I do not recall hearing of him, though now his name is frequently mentioned in connection with both Hillary Clinton and Obama.

So I finally picked up a copy of his book, Rules For Radicals. the other day. Interesting book and an interesting guy–an eye-opener for those interested in what’s happening in America today.

The bible of modern community activists—Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals—contains a surprising yet highly illustrative dedication, a paean to Satan. And as unorthodox as this move might seem, it is actually a Marxist trope to dedicate oneself to the Devil. In fact, many early socialists did this before Alinsky was born. And the depth of seriousness and feeling is not to be doubted. Satan is highly regarded by some socialists. For example, Time magazine reports one socialist exclaiming:

“I thank Satan,” exclaimed the Socialist delegate, “that I have lived to see the day when the great popular masses united. I beg Satan to give me six months more, so that I shall see the Front in operation.” The author of this sardonic invocation was bent, shriveled old Comrade Corradetti, a devout diabolist from Benevento; he was addressing the 26th National Congress of the Italian Socialist Party in Rome’s new Cinema Astoria.

Could Karl Marx and other foundational socialists, like Proudhon and Bakunin, have had a soft-spot for Lucifer? Would it even make sense to suggest anti-religious, godless persons could still salute Satan? One has to wonder if congratulations are in order for President Obama? The U.S. economy is in ruins, the country in crisis, the world in chaos. Was this all a purposeful plan, or is Obama simply an inexperienced, incompetent, bumbling Inspector Clouseau in the White House?

From the day of Obama’s election, many concerned patriots have warned about Obama’s goals. Obama is a follower of radical Marxist strategy, like Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and Cloward and Piven’s strategy of overwhelming the system to create economic crisis and chaos.

Based on those strategies, one would be foolish not to at least wonder whether Obama’s goal from the start was to wreck capitalism; redistribute wealth by punishing, penalizing and demonizing the wealthy; force Americans to their knees to beg for help from big government; and then in response to those pleas, put government in control over every aspect of our lives.Examine the state of the union and the world under President Obama. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’…The show is still on in Wisconsin.

While the union bosses and other leftist groups stopped paying people to protest at the State Capitol Building, they are switching emphasis to smaller groups or individuals.

Yesterday, we covered that the unions are “gooning up” businesses, threatening to boycott any business that does not condemn the governor. Now, we see that they are going to single out the governor himself.

A great deal has been written about Saul Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals.” Much of it tends to ignore the rules and focus on other things, like whether Alinsky was a communist. I think that knowing and understanding the rules is very helpful to those of us who participate in the fight for freedom.

I came by my knowledge of Brother Saul and the “Rules” over a lifetime of work fighting labor unions, particularly public sector labor unions. Alinsky’s teachings have a tremendous impact on the tactics of public sector unions, like the National Education Association. Over the years I have spoken about Alinsky and the “Rules” in many contexts from conventions of public officials to training sessions of professional educator group leaders. Interest in Alinsky and the “Rules” seems to come up about once every decade. In the most modern application it is the emergence of the Tea Party as a force to be contended with. There is no doubt that the Tea Party and its leaders have been “Alinsky’d” by radical liberals with the sympathetic assistance of the mainstream media.

This information certainly adds perspective to the detrimental value afforded by a liberal arts education in most universities of the United States.All three of these mass murderers followed the Alinsky prescription faithfully, namely, “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

When we look at President Obama’s method of operation, we can see that he learned this lesson well.

Indeed, Obama taught Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals for two years at the University of Chicago School of Law.He picks targets for smearing banks, insurance companies, Republicans, etc.. He then goes on to freeze his target, to personalize it greedy executives, House Minority Leader John Boehner and then to polarize.

Polarizing is part of the acid used by the 20th Century’s tyrants as well as Saul Alinsky and his followers…”

I figured that as long as the country is focused on book burning, I would throw in my choice for bon fire fuel. Rules for Radicals is the book Zero considers holy and in the long run may be the one book that was the cause of more damage done to our Country, than the Koran ever could be.
