Almost everything I predicted about how Bit Coin could be brought down or controlled by the federal government has occurred since the article was written.

]It’s important for you to know these things because as long as you don’t know them, you can be manipulated by those who do not have your interest – or that of America – at heart.Hopefully, you realize the reason the United States is in such dire economic straits is largely because the people of America have enabled corruption at high levels.

ourAmerica (Photo credit: GunnyG1345)

We, the people, did not take our responsibilities as a free society seriously and preferred television and other forms of entertainment to learning what we need to know to make sure those we elect to represent them are doing their job – rather than stealing from them.First, the traditional definition of fiat currency – a paper currency with no value unless backed by something with a defined value, like precious metals. Paper currency that is not backed by something of value is… worthless.

gophum (Photo credit: GunnyG1345)

I disagree with the traditional definition because the currency of the United States and other nations, too is backed by the taxpayers. As long as taxpayers can be put in prison for not paying their taxes, paper currency is backed by the tyrannical threat of government actions against taxpayers. As long as government can penalize your bank account and it can under Dodd-Frank and your IRA or pension and it can, the fiat currency controlled by the Federal Reserve System is not worthless.

ACIM Chap 27 – “Hero” of the Dream

December 31, 2013 1 comment

EXCERPT !!!!!!
The dreaming of the world takes many forms, because the body seeks in many ways to prove it is autonomous and real. It puts things on itself which it has bought with little metal discs or paper strips the world proclaims as valuable and good. It works to get them, doing senseless things, and tosses them away for senseless things it does not need, and does not even want.

big (Photo credit: GunnyG1345)

It hires other bodies, that they may protect it, and collect more senseless things that it can call its own. It looks about for special bodies which can share its dream. Sometimes it dreams it is a conqueror of bodies weaker than itself. But in some phases of the dream, it is the slave of bodies that would hurt and torture it.

Pope Francis has taken aim at capitalism as “a new tyranny” and is urging world leaders to step up their efforts against poverty and inequality, saying “thou shall not kill” the economy. Francis calls on rich people to share their wealth.

The existing financial system that fuels the unequal distribution of wealth and violence must be changed, the Pope warned.

After reading Dr. Thomas Sowell‘s latest book, “Intellectuals and Race,” one cannot emerge with much respect for the reasoning powers of intellectuals, particularly academics, on matters of race. There’s so much faulty logic and downright dishonesty.

obampoint (Photo credit: GunnyG1345)

Many intellectuals attribute the behavior patterns of blacks to “a legacy of slavery” or contemporary racial discrimination. But when one observes similar behavior patterns among Britain’s lower-class whites, which can’t be attributed to “a legacy of slavery” or discrimination, it calls into question the explanations for black behavior. It’s lamented that blacks are “the last hired” and, during an economic downturn, “the first fired,” because blacks are terminated before whites. That’s seen as evidence of discrimination by white employers, but white employees are terminated before Asian-American employees.

Is that employer discrimination against whites? Intellectuals accept statistical data as showing discrimination when it reinforces existing preconceptions and reject or ignore it when it doesn’t.It’s the same story in the housing market.

by Sass Cuntstein, Information Czar and Cuntstitutional Scholar Extraordinaire

In my previous article “Conspiracy Theories: Causes and Cures,” I argued that conspiracy theories – especially the ones that are true – pose a growing threat to Western civilization in general, and to people like me in particular. I pointed out that since 9/11, a veritable tsunami of conspiracy theories has been racing toward the American shore, threatening to wash away everything we have accomplished. Clearly, something must be done.

My earlier article, published in the Journal of Political Philosophy, proposed a number of remedies for the conspiracy disease. I argued that some day, the government might have to ban conspiracy theories. (Yes, I now realize I may have overlooked a minor matter called the “First Amendment”; but we Cuntstitutional scholars cannot be expected to remember every little detail we learned in law school, can we?)

Prison » 22 Statistics That Prove That The American Dream Is Being Systematically Destroyed

June 26, 2012 3 comments

The American Dream is being systematically destroyed right in front of our eyes and most Americans don’t even realize what is happening. In the old days, if you were a hard worker and you played by the rules you could always find a good job. That good job would enable you to buy a house, buy at least one car and support a family.

realobam (Photo credit: GunnyG1345)

It would also enable you to take a couple of vacations each year and buy some nice things for your family. After working for 30 or 40 years you would look forward to a comfortable retirement. But these days fewer and fewer Americans are able to enjoy the American Dream. Once upon a time, the United States had the largest and most prosperous middle class in the history of the world, but now that is changing at a breathtaking pace.

Our economy is not producing nearly enough jobs for all of us anymore, and an increasing percentage of the jobs that are being produced pay 10 dollars an hour or less. The cost of living continues to rise steadily every single year while wages do not.

Prison » Press 1 For English: Is America Destined To Become A Multilingual Nation?

The American Dream

May 25, 2012

The quickest way to divide people is to have them speak different languages. America has always been a nation of immigrants, but one of the things that has always united us as a nation has been the English language.

Dick Lamm, 38th Governor of the State of Colorado

Dick Lamm, 38th Governor of the State of Colorado (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

In the past, it was always understood that if you wanted to thrive in the “land of opportunity” that you had better learn English and learn it well. Unfortunately, times have changed. Today, many radical activist groups are actually referring to the English language as a “tool of oppression” and are demanding that special accommodations be made for those that do not wish to learn the English language. But what languages are we supposed to accommodate? Overall, there are 325 different languages spoken at home in the United States today. So which of those languages should receive special treatment? How far are we really going to take all of this? Someday, instead of your telephone telling you to “press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish”, it may tell you to “press 323 for Italian, 324 for Arabic or 325 for English”. Yes, that is kind of a ridiculous example, but we really should examine where all of this is headed. Is America destined to become a multilingual nation where we all struggle to understand one another?

Good News: We’re Not on the Road to Socialism Bad news: we are on the road to fascism. / Why We Are Not on the Road to Serfdom by Gary North

May 25, 2012 2 comments

F. A. Hayek wrote The Road to Serfdom in 1943. It was published in 1944. Americans who read the 1945 Readers Digest version liked it. University professors didn’t. This is one more bit of evidence that American voters have more sense than university professors. Are you surprised?

English: GFDL picture of F.A. Hayek to replace...

English: GFDL picture of F.A. Hayek to replace fair use images that are used in some articles. Released by the Mises Institute. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

When Hayek wrote The Road to Serfdom, he had a marketing problem. The book’s title was absurd. He knew that. He knew the difference between Western serfdom, which had limited but defined property rights and the rule of law, and socialism, which in theory had neither. Serfdom was a system of liberty compared to Communism, Fascism, and National Socialism. But he was trying to sell the book to educated Leftists, who were favorable to socialism. He could not very well have sold copies in 1944 based on a title like The Road to Fascism, which was in fact the road the West was on in 1944.

We have been on the road out of “serfdom” ever since 1947, the year after Truman removed wartime price and wage controls. Anyone who doubts this development has no awareness of the lack of influence that free market ideas had in 1945. It was worse on campus, but it was bad in general. Henry Hazlitt’s Economics in One Lesson was a breath of fresh intellectual air in 1946. He was alone among financial journalists in 1946.

(“…says Orwell. Catch phrases “will construct your sentences for you – even think your thoughts for you…”) Throw out the cliches

May 25, 2012 Leave a comment

Political writing tends to be bad writing, noted George Orwell in his 1946 essay “Politics and the English Language.”

English: Picture of George Orwell which appear...

English: Picture of George Orwell which appears in an old acreditation for the BNUJ. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Too often it’s a tool for deception and obfuscation rather than clear communication.

Orwell criticizes particularly those who rely on political catch phrases devised by others, throwing their minds open and “letting the ready-made phrases come crowding in.” It’s an easy way of avoiding the hard work good writing demands, says Orwell. Catch phrases “will construct your sentences for you – even think your thoughts for you, to a certain extent – and at need they will perform the important service of partially concealing your meaning even from yourself.”

It’s amusing how often the cliche-stringers don’t even seem to realize what their fine-sounding phrases really mean or where they come from. Those who argue for an activist judiciary, for instance, often remind us that the Constitution created three “separate but equal” branches of government. “Separate but equal” has a nice, familiar ring to it, but it’s not in the Constitution. It comes from Plessy vs. Ferguson, the 1896 Supreme Court decision that ruled segregation perfectly legal.

In most cases, what passes for “history” today in public schools is little more than politically correct propaganda that reeks of multiculturalism, diversity, environmentalism and a host of other “isms” that have nothing to do with accurate history and everything to do with making sure students never come close to the real truth.

One Consistent Voice of Opposition – Doug French – Mises Daily

December 8, 2011 1 comment

Remember the promises of economic recovery? Two presidents have now made them and spent (and printed) many trillions to see them come true. There was QE1, QE2, Operation Twist, and thousands of other tricks.

And yet the economy is sinking ever more. Incomes are falling more now than two years ago. Job prospects for young people are in the pits. This entire fiasco represents one of the great failures of the state and the economic theories the state has tried. They promised a dream and delivered disaster.

The Mises Institute has been the one consistent voice of opposition from the very beginning of this crisis. We stood nearly alone against Bush’s bailout schemes and continued that opposition through the Obama years. Not only that: our editorials and publications had warned of the crisis before it happened.

We’ve prepared for this opportunity for 30 years with conferences, books, fellowships, and programs of every sort. We had every technology in place and many thousands of intellectuals around the world who have learned from what the Mises Institute does.

Marx lived in Europe during the nineteenth century. That was a time when massive economic change was occurring due to the industrial revolution, when production of goods was being vastly increased using machines driven by water, steam or petroleum-generated power.

Our mainstream media have discovered a new issue: inequality in America. The gap between the wealthiest 1 percent and the rest of the nation is wide and growing wider.

This, we are told, is intolerable. This is a deformation of American democracy that must be corrected through remedial government action.

What action? The rich must pay their fair share. Though the top 1 percent pay 40 percent of federal income taxes and the bottom 50 percent have, in some years, paid nothing, the rich must be made to pay more.

Fraud Case Seen as a Red Flag for Psychology Research (fabricated research on race, sex stereotypes)

November 3, 2011 1 comment

A well-known psychologist in the Netherlands whose work has been published widely in professional journals falsified data and made up entire experiments, an investigating committee has found. Experts say the case exposes deep flaws in the way science is done in a field, psychology, that has only recently earned a fragile respectability.

The psychologist, Diederik Stapel, of Tilburg University, committed academic fraud in “several dozen” published papers

In a prolific career, Dr. Stapel published papers on the effect of power on hypocrisy, on racial stereotyping and on how advertisements affect how people view themselves. Many of his findings appeared in newspapers around the world, including The New York Times, which reported in December on his study about advertising and identity.

Paul McGuire — Manchurian Media Personality and the Reality of the Mind Control War

October 17, 2011 3 comments

In my previous article on Manchurian Candidate’s for political office, I describe how sophisticated mind control technologies like MK ULTRA and social engineering, can be used to create politicians who have been programmed to carry out specific assignments. These same brainwashing technologies can be used to develop media personalities. Manchurian media personalities dominate radio, television and the Internet.

Their personalities and perspectives were created in the mind control the factories of our universities, business corporations, motivational seminars, ideological programming, and consensus building and, in some cases, targeted mind control and brainwashing. Since John Dewey, the founder of modern public education, began using Soviet techniques of brainwashing since in the 1920’s, the collective mindset of our culture washas been moved strategically from a Judeo Christian one to an atheistic, humanistic and socialist worldview.

For the last century, the psycho-social strategies used in Communist nations to indoctrinate Soviet children with Communist ideology and to monitor compliance for the rest of their lives, have been used in the United States. Christian leaders who were called to be “watchmaen on the wall,” neglected their duty before God and allowed America and its children to be transformed into an occulted, immoral, godless and humanistic/socialist state., in spite of Despite Jesus Christ’s clear warning’s, regarding allowing little children’s faith in God to be harmed in any way…..

The Unattainable Illusion Never Changed

September 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Things out there in the real world are getting pretty bad. The illusion of Marxism that handed the power to government to intervene and manipulate the people to control the economy is crumbling before our eyes falling to nothing but dust. This turn for the worst is being caused by a collapse in in government. The polls show we are approaching two-thirds of Americans don’t even trust government any more. This feeling is rising mutually on a global scale. While it is true that the Austrian School of Economics at least recognizes that there is a Business Cycle and “mainstream” economics calls trying to measure the Business Cycle numerology because they are closet Marxists who believe the economy can be manipulated, my work is squarely between these two schools with the former at least acknowledging there is a Business Cycle and the other stuck in a state of denial clinging to their Unattainable Illusion…This is what is collapsing. Years of manipulation by intervention and over-regulation is now coming back to tear everything apart at the seams. They refuse to listen. You cannot force capital to flow to unprofitable regions any more than you can force water to flow up instead of down…

Near-Death Experiences: 30 Years of Research

September 17, 2011 Leave a comment

DURHAM, N.C.—Grandma was just resuscitated. She wakes up and tells you a bizarre story of coming out of her body and going to heaven. Has she developed psychosis? Was her brain damaged from the lack of oxygen?

After over 30 years of research, scientists have concluded that this is not the case. Instead, they think that this phenomenon is something today’s science is yet to understand, and that it is an opportunity for the advancement of science.

The phenomenon was coined near-death experiences (NDEs) in the 1975 book “Life After Life” by Raymond Moody, M.D. and Ph.D. in philosophy and psychology. NDEs generally include cognitive, affective, paranormal, and transcendental experiences.

Examples of NDEs include experiencing a change in one’s perception and way of thinking, feeling peace or calmness, gaining extrasensory perception (ESP), going through a review of one’s life and seeing the effects of one’s actions on others, a feeling of leaving the body, seeing deceased people and other beings such as angels, and feeling as if one has entered another dimension.Greyson believes that NDEs are an indication that the mind is independent of the brain because impaired brain functions would be expected during the clinical situation that the NDErs underwent, but his research found no corresponding impairment of mental functions in NDErs.

What’s the Argument for Democracy? by David Gordon

August 31, 2011 Leave a comment

Perhaps the most substantial argument in support of democracy is that of the Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises. A democratic regime, since it by hypothesis enjoys majority support, will best insure that political change avoids violence. A government that people dislike but cannot alter democratically will, in contrast, be susceptible to revolution, with its attendant destruction.

Socialism’s God—Karl Marx: Was He Stupid, Insane…or Possessed?
By Kelly O’Connell Full Story

imageKarl Marx lived from 1818-1883. The question addressed today is whether Marx accidentally created the most inefficient and murderous set of beliefs in history, or if something more dreadful was at work in his mind and heart.

The crux is whether Marx simply gave up belief in God, or more darkly—decided to cast his lot with Satan against Yahweh, in spite of the implications?

Surprisingly, Marx made a large number of statements seemingly in support of the Devil, judgment and hell. But the reader can decide themselves the question of this essay—whether Marx was stupid, crazed or diabolical…..

Just released today, the SECRET LOCATION of a New Federal Reserve Property. In a densely wooded area in Richmond Virgina lies the heavily guarded office building. According to a report, “Information about the function and location of the property are classified by the Federal Reserve System, and employees are prohibited from discussing the site with anyone outside the organization.” The facility is known as the Federal Reserve West Creek Operations Center. So why the veil of secrecy? The report, issued by the government transparency advocates at states, “There is no reference to the Federal Reserve on the property. At the entrance is a black sign with white letters that reads “West Creek Operations Center.” Security gates, hydraulic vehicle barriers, and guards with loaded weapons control access to the parking lot. A meticulously maintained and patrolled perimeter fence encloses the property.” The 200,000 square foot facility, located 12560 West Creek Parkway in Richmond was purchased by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in 2004 from the Heilig-Meyers Furniture Co. At this classified location is where the Federal Reserve Information Technology employees are housed. One can only assume with all the hacking of government facilities this would be a prime target for groups like antisec and anonymous. Add this location to your list of Federal Reserve locations next time you decide to plan a rally for sound money.

How I Learned the Truth about the State – Stefano R. Mugnaini – Mises Daily

How I Learned the Truth about the State – Stefano R. Mugnaini – Mises Daily:

“I’ll never forget my last visit to lovely Hinesville, Georgia. For it was there that I learned a valuable lesson, one I shall never forget: in a police state, we’re all criminals.

Think about it — how many laws have you broken today? This week? This month? Have you changed lanes without a turn signal? Exceeded the posted speed limit? Hired a neighborhood kid to cut your grass and then paid him under the table? Engaged in commerce with someone who is in the country illegally? Bought lemonade from an unlicensed ‘dealer’ in the form of an innocent child?”

Predicting the Coming of Christ

The ending of the world has long been a matter of speculation. Many thought it was coming with the new millenium not so many years ago. It didn’t. In the early days of the world people thought a solar eclipse meant the end of the world. It didn’t. Between then and now the world’s end has been predicted over and over. We’re still here.

Time and time again the signs have been “read” and a prediction made. Time and time again the seers have been wrong. Jesus repeatedly refused to allow himself to be caught up in speculation, stating that even he did not know when the time would be. So how can any of us be so presumptive?

One of the latest, relevant predictions comes from a Mayan tablet, which was found during an excavation bearing the date December 21, 2012.1 It seemed to indicate something was to occur on that date, but it doesn’t say what that event will be.

Whether the Mayan calendar shows the world will end on a given date can be answered by the Mayans themselves. They are surprised; they know of no such theory related to 12/21/12. In an article by author Mark Stevenson, he states, “A significant time period for the Mayas does end on the date. . . But most archaeologists, astronomers and Maya say the only thing likely to hit Earth is a meteor shower of New Age philosophy, pop astronomy, internet doomsday rumors and TV specials. . .”

Further on in the article it states that “Archaeologist Guillermo Bernal of Mexico’s National Autonomous University … notes there are other inscriptions at Mayan sites for dates far beyond 2012—including one that roughly translates into the year 4772.”2

So why would the Mayans be concerned with anything beyond December 2012 if the world is to end then? Clearly it’s another bid for sensational publicity.

Christians need have no part in all of this conjecture.

Jesus speaks about the coming of the Kingdom of God. As Christians we see the future Kingdom as fulfillment of the promise of a new order. It’s a good thing. It will be the end of all things as we now know them and is indeed the end of the world.

For those who do not follow the teachings of Christ only an ending is known to them, an ending that comes out of major destruction. A new order is not part of their understanding. So they look for signs, such as certain dates, in order to know when the end will come, presumably to make some preparation. Even from the time of the book of Daniel Jewish apoloclypic writers were concerned with signs of the last days.

In Mark 13:32 Jesus says,

Dowsing is Local Gravity Sensing

Albert Einstein, however, was convinced of the authenticity of dowsing. He said, “I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as they do astrology, as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is, however, unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time.”
