I’ve been thinking about fault lines, and fractures, and diversity, and when it’s all going to implode. I hope I’m still around because it is going to be one gorgeous show. Few things are as entertaining as a truly good disaster.

What is going to kill us is diversity. It isn’t working well. By diversity I mean here the intermixing of large groups of people holding utterly differing and opposed values. There is too damned much diversity in America. It isn’t getting better.

The current donnybrook over guns is not a political question, like whether to raise or lower taxes. It is a clash of civilizations, a confrontation between two groups who seriously don’t like each other and hold irreconcilably different views of life. The two would be happier in separate countries, an idea that has occurred to them. It is that bad.

Prominent American blogger and computer prodigy Aaron Swartz, who spoke against US President Barack Obama’s “kill list” and cyber attacks against Iran, has been found dead in New York.

Brooklyn’s chief medical examiner ruled the death a suicide by hanging, but no further detail is available about the mysterious death.

 

Last year, Swartz openly criticized the US and the Israeli regime for launching joint cyber attacks against Iran.

Apparently the key to a successful campaign is a bumper sticker of supernal stupidity and irrelevance. I can play that game. How about “A Fred in Every Pot.” Or Tippecanoe and Frederick Too.” Or “Better Fred than Dead.” Or “Fred…Ahhhh.” Or, most pertinently, ”Well, Have You Got a Better Idea?”

These are proving to be bad times for dictators and it is easy to suggest that Basher Assad, a second generation dictator of Syria, will likely come to an equally bad end. So far this year the former dictator of Tunisia had to flee. Egypt’s Mubarack had to step aside, and both Syria’s and Yemen’s presidents are under seige. Nobody knows who’s in charge of Somalia.

As I watched President Obama take a victory lap when he announced Gaddafi’s death, my thoughts turned to what Ted Belman, a widely-read blogger called the Israpundit, had to say. “Gaddafi wasn’t any worse than the barbarians that killed him and will replace him. There are no freedom-loving democrats in the entire Muslim world which consists of seventh century-minded brutes.”

The Israelis have had the misfortune of having had to fight off Muslims not only for the past sixty-plus years of statehood, but in the decades leading up to it. Unlike those of us in the West, they understand them in terms of the insane, fanatical hatred they have for Jews, Christians, and all other “infidels”, unbelievers.

President Barack Obama announced Friday he is dispatching about 100 U.S. troops — mostly special operations forces — to central Africa to advise in the fight against the Lord’s Resistance Army. The LRA is a guerrilla group accused of widespread atrocities across several countries.

The first U.S. troops arrived Wednesday. Long considered one of Africa’s most brutal rebel groups, the Lord’s Resistance Army began its attacks in Uganda more than 20 years ago.

In addition to his wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, those underway in Yemen and Somalia – and coming soon in Iran – the warlord Obama is now dispatching troops to Uganda to do battle with the wacky yet murderous Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).

Obama’s move is next step following on the heels of Gaddafi’s defeat in Libya. Obama is following to the letter a well-drafted globalist plan for Africa, one that is partially enumerated in the the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Bill adopted by the U.S. Congress in 2009 and signed by Obama in early 2010. It “requires the US government to develop a new multifaceted strategy” against the LRA.

“Obama has said he is sending about 100 US soldiers to Uganda to help regional forces battle the notorious Lord’s Resistance Army,” the BBC reported on Friday. “Although combat-equipped, the troops would be providing information and advice ‘to partner nation forces,’ Mr Obama wrote in a letter to US Congress.”

Obama didn’t bother to consult Congress or abide by the Constitution. He just sent congressional leaders a letter announcing he would again violate the national sovereignty of yet another country.

“Obama’s announcement represents a highly unusual intervention for the United States,” reports the Associated Press. “Although some American troops are based in Djibouti [at the $6 billion Africom mega-base] and small groups of soldiers have been deployed to Somalia, the U.S. traditionally has been reluctant to commit forces to help African nations put down insurgencies.”

As usual, the exact opposite is the case – the U.S. military, the CIA, and their European partners manufacture insurgencies – the preferred destabilization method for the bankers.

The AP dredges up the “humanitarian crises” of Rwanda and Bosnia as cover for Obama’s move. “The change in policy could reflect the long-standing concerns of a number of high-ranking Obama advisers left scarred by the U.S. failure in the 1990s to intervene to stop the genocide in Rwanda and the belated action to finally halt the violence in Bosnia. For a current parallel, the Lord’s Resistance Army’s 24-year campaign of rebellion, rape and murder represents one of the world’s worst human rights crises today.”

Despite the brutality of the LRC, the AP has naturally declined to tell us the whole story. Uganda is a strategic asset for the United States. Back in 2005, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen reported that the U.S. had major communications and listening stations in Uganda’s Ruwenzori Mountains. Since then, Africom has set-up a sprawling operation there. Libya was its first “engagement.”

Moreover, the genocide in Rwanda was not simply blood lust between Tutsi and Hutu tribes, as dramatically depicted by the media at the time, but was ignited by several causes, most notably the intervention of the IMF in central Africa’s economy and its standard debt serving schemes resulting in famine and armed conflict, thus allowing the globalists to consolidate power.

“While the new loans [distributed to Rwanda] contributed to releasing money for the payment of debt servicing as well as equipping the armed forces, the evidence would suggest that a large part of this donor assistance was neither used productively nor was it channeled into providing relief in areas affected by famine,” writes Michel Chossudovsky.

In what is now a well-established pattern, the global elite exploited tensions created by the disastrous economic impact of its loan sharking operation and moved to establish a sphere of influence in a region historically dominated by the former colonial powers of France and Belgium.

“The civil war in Rwanda was a brutal struggle for political power between the Hutu-led Habyarimana government supported by France, and the Tutsi Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) backed financially and militarily by Washington,” Chossudovsky concludes. “Ethnic rivalries were used deliberately in the pursuit of geopolitical objectives. Both the CIA and French intelligence were involved.”

The IMF and World Bank played a cynical and murderous game in Uganda as well. Banker money ostensibly earmarked for the country’s economic and social reconstruction went to military destabilization operations in Rwanda and the Congo…..

Our ‘troops’ have been murdering unarmed people around the world for so long that most see this as just part of the inevitable price we pay for our place as the leaders of the world.

July 12, 2011 “Information Clearing House” — Many think that 7-11-11 will be the day that the US Stock Market will collapse; but whether or not this will happen on that date is not the point. The point is that the time has come for all our blatant disregard for the greed and arrogance of the uncommon-criminals that have run this civilization into the muck of history to finally have to pay for everything that we have been doing for far too long.

Our ‘troops’ have been murdering unarmed people around the world for so long that most see this as just part of the inevitable price we pay for our place as the leaders of the world. No one asks if anyone, besides ourselves, wanted us to assume this role as “the self-appointed-leader of the whole-wide-world.”

We have been “AT WAR” against the world since 1991, in Iraq. And we have now expanded that illegal war into our wars upon Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq again in 2003, Somalia, and now Libya: With other wars planned for Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, and a number of other nations as their own civil wars spill over into new threats against the New World Order and its Fascist policies. So far these illegal and unilaterally declared wars-on-terror” have cost us over three trillion dollars but they have also cost us the respect of the entire community of nations and earned us the hatred of billions of people the world over.

Just like Israel we have been making war upon unarmed women and children, in nation-states without armies or air forces, anywhere where the population cannot return fire in kind. The numbers of the innocent and the dead are horrifyingly huge. In Iraq alone about four years ago there had already been over two million murdered, two million seriously disabled and another two million that had fled the county to avoid being murdered. And those numbers have only grown since that time. Because after those numbers became a reality we began using drones to add to the death tolls that have continued to skyrocket. Our “forces” are attacking people in their own homes and murdering them at will overseas. In much the same way as our own police forces here have begun to arm their departments with military tanks and fascist powers that take no account of the Constitution or anything beside what each thug in uniform might decide to do at any given point in time. The police have become FEARED in much the same way that ordinary people once feared criminals: Only this is worse because the police were supposed to be the agency of government that people could look to for protection rather than torture, accusations and possibly death that can easily now result because someone called “911,” or because someone dared to ask a question of an officer that had responded to such a call. Beck helped sell the ongoing wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq, is a major proponent of war with Iran, Somalia, Libya, and a general clash of civilizations between the West and the over 1 billion Muslims that populate the world. He, along with the rest of the corporate media, has the blood of thousands of Americans on his hands as well as the blood of over a million Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, Somalians, Yemenis, and now Libyans. Obama Raises American Hypocrisy To A Higher Level

What does the world think? Obama has been using air strikes and drones against civilians in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and probably Somalia. In his March 28 speech, Obama justified his air strikes against Libya on the grounds that the embattled ruler, Gadhafi, was using air strikes to put down a rebellion.

Gadhafi has been a black hat for as long as I can remember. If we believe the adage that “where there is smoke there is fire,” Gadhafi is probably not a nice fellow. However, there is no doubt whatsoever that the current US president and the predecessor Bush/Cheney regime have murdered many times more people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia than Gadhafi has murdered in Libya.

Moreover, Gadhafi is putting down a rebellion against state authority as presently constituted, but Obama and Bush/Cheney initiated wars of aggression based entirely on lies and deception.

Yet Gadhafi is being demonized, and Bush/Cheney/Obama are sitting on their high horse draped in cloaks of morality. Obama described himself as saving Libyans from violence while Obama himself murders Afghans, Pakistanis, and whomever else.

Indeed, the Obama regime has been torturing a US soldier, Bradley Manning, for having a moral conscience. America has degenerated to the point where having a moral conscience is evidence of anti-Americanism and “terrorist activity.”

The Bush/Cheney/Obama wars of naked aggression have bankrupted America. Joseph Stiglitz, former chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers, concluded that the money wasted on the Iraq war could have been used to fix America’s Social Security problem for half a century. Instead, the money was used to boost the obscene profits of the armament industry.

The obscene wars of aggression, the obscene profits of the offshoring corporations, and the obscene bailouts of the rich financial gangsters have left the American public with

annual budget deficits of approximately $1.5 trillion. These deficits are being covered by printing money. Sooner or later, the printing presses will cause the US dollar to collapse and domestic inflation to explode. Social Security benefits will be wiped out by inflation rising more rapidly than the cost-of-living adjustments. If America survives, no one will be left but the mega-rich. Unless there is a violent revolution.

Alternatively, if the Federal Reserve puts the brake on monetary expansion, interest rates will rise, sending the economy into a deeper depression.

Since Bush I, we have intervened in Panama, Kuwait, Iraq, Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Libya. Had Sens. John McCain and Joe Lieberman gotten their way, we would have been fighting Russians in Georgia and bombing Iran.

Add up all those we have killed, wounded, widowed, orphaned or uprooted, and the number runs into the millions. All these wars have helped mightily to bankrupt us.

What Would a Desperate Wimp Do?

And so I asked myself, is there a point at which a president realizes that wimps don’t get reelected?

And if so, what might he do to shatter that image?

For the next two years I worried that Carter might overreact to some international crisis in order to make folks see that he was really a tough guy.

It never happened, to my relief. But I’m starting to have the same worries about Obama.

To be sure, he’s got a press that is considerably friendlier than Carter had, but even so we are seeing quite a number of stories about a president who just can’t seem to make decisions, who doesn’t seem to get it when terrible things happen, things that cry out for American leadership.

The wimp seems to be mounting a comeback. If he gets tarred with that brush, he might start considering options to recreate his image. There are certainly many opportunities, from Iran to Venezuela.To be sure, I worry just as much — no, I worry even more — about two more long years of appeasement and retreat, leaving us with a world of emboldened enemies and frightened friends and allies.

But that’s the world we’ve been given already by this administration, a world in which the current main enemy — Iran — is running amok killing our guys in Iraq and Afghanistan, organizing an anti-democratic and anti-American mass movement throughout the Middle East, shipping weapons to the forces of evil in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, etc. etc., just as the Soviets did during the last wimp in the White House.
