Gun Violence is Not a Republican Problem, It’s a Democratic Problem

January 18, 2013 Leave a comment

Forget Wal-Mart and skip your local gun show. The murderers of tomorrow will not be found wearing orange vests at your local sporting goods store. They won’t have NRA memberships or trophies on their walls.

You won’t find them in America. Look for them in Obamerica.

67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas. The 62 cities in those metro areas have a firearm murder rate of 9.7, more than twice the national average. Among teenagers the firearm murder rate is 14.6 or almost three times the national average.

Yes, yes, I know. I will get stupid mail from stupider people saying that I am a white supremacist. No. I am a brain supremacist. If the entire faculty of Harvard came to consist of Jewish Koreans from Mumbai, I would be perfectly content, assuming they got there on merit. Or even if they came from New Jersey.

In pondering the coming unwhite America, it might be wise to consider how democracy will then work. In America we are accustomed to a rough balance of contending factions—liberals, conservatives, women, men, blacks, Hispanics, feminists, hawks, doves, and so on. Values overlap, emphases change. Elections are often determined by a few percentage points. Any group potentially can influence the outcome, so politicians have to pay attention to the desires of all groups.

Enemies Within the Gate | Veterans Today

April 28, 2012 Leave a comment

There is something admirable about an honest enemy; I rather respect people who at the least state very clearly who they are and what they stand for. Even if their views are morally repugnant, I still maintain a level of respect for the honest yet offensive opponent.

The liar on the other hand, that is a different matter. The liar might be and often is the “nicest person you could ever want to know”, but an honest jerk is much better in my book than a lying “friend”, or as it is in my case, lying “volunteers”.

In my view the liar, fraudster, infiltrator and collaborator is the most vile of them all… and make no mistake, they are everywhere in this so-called “movement” of ours.

‘They show how Special Branch penetrated the (anti-Apartheid) movement from top to bottom, infiltrating meetings, recruiting informers and obtaining documents. Officers snooped on leaders including MPs, two of whom are now Labour ministers.

Police spies slipped into meetings of local groups which were attended by as few as five genuine campaigners.’ – The Guardian (‘Documents show how Special Branch infiltrated Anti-Apartheid Movement’)

One of the most insidious aspects of infiltration is the erosion of trust. Think of it this way, how can a “movement” get meaningful work done when the people who comprise it and the leaders leading it cannot trust each other? The answer of course is work becomes difficult at best, and such our movement for a better world, all too often stumbling along with one setback after another. It is like this that the end goal of the powers that be is maintained, and that is the status quo of course.

And so it is that an activist leader like myself invariably will have more personal contact with devils posing as friends/volunteers then most can imagine, this is the nature of the game. I know this so very well, I understand how infiltration works, but with limited resources and big goals you have to be able to trust, and if you can’t, you really need to get out of activism.

And in all honesty, I am probably more valuable in other ways. But I am not a quitter, I like to finish what I start, and I remain fully capable of trust, my faith in humanity will not be destroyed, absolutely not, I know far too many beautiful people.

‘Gandhi and the Unspeakable’ – New Insight About Gandhi’s Assassination From Author of ‘JFK and the Unspeakable’

April 17, 2012 Leave a comment

From James W. Douglass, the bestselling author of JFK and the Unspeakable (Orbis 2010), Ghandhi and the Unspeakable shines new light on the untimely death of Mohandas Gandhi.

Location unknown. Français : Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948), Guide politique et spirituel de l'Inde. Lieu inconnu. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Following the theme of his study about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Mr. Douglass shows how the people who conspired to kill Gandhi hoped to destroy a compelling vision of peace, nonviolence and reconciliation.

By tracing the story of Gandhi’s early “experiments with truth” in South Africa, Mr. Douglass shows how Gandhi confronted and overcame the fear of death. He also explains why, as with the case of JFK’s death, this story matters today and what can be learned from Gandhi’s truth and its opposition to the powers of his time.

Pastor Roger Anghis — Can We Save America?

February 12, 2012 1 comment

Almost every time I write an article or do a radio program I always get asked the question of can we save America? That is a good question. Many answer their own question by stating that they believe that we have gone too far and we are beyond the point of no return. I can understand why they feel that way.

Sometimes things look totally hopeless. After the 2008 election the Republicans were in a position in Congress where they couldn’t stop the Democrats from doing whatever they wanted. And the Democrats went to town. Obamacare, reversing the Mexico City policy, funding abortions all over the world, like it was the responsibility of the American taxpayer to pay for the world’s abortions. The Hate Crimes Bill which makes preaching the Gospel illegal because it offends people who aren’t smart enough to know what sex they are.

We see that Congress pretty much has ignored the Constitution. Obama is disappointed that the Supreme Court has “stayed within the boundaries of the Constitution concerning wealth redistribution.” He has ignored constitutional process and bypassed Congress on more than one occasion and Congress simply grumbles but they do nothing. Even Congressmen have stated that they pay no attention to the Constitution when writing laws. The most valuable document ever devised by man and our elected officials pay no attention to it. This last week a Supreme Court Justice that traveled to Egypt to talk to students about how to write a constitution stated: “I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012,” Ginsburg said in an interview on Al Hayat television last Wednesday.

A new International Climate Court will have the power to compel Western nations to pay ever-larger sums to third-world countries in the name of making reparation for supposed “climate debt”. The Court will have no power over third-world countries. Here and throughout the draft, the West is the sole target. “The process” is now irredeemably anti-Western.

Royal Navy ordered to turn ship’s guns around (because they were pointing at Michelle’s hotel room)

October 15, 2011 1 comment

A British Royal Navy ship was ordered to turn its guns around because they were parked pointing at a hotel room Michelle Obama was staying in.

Fearing the First Lady might be in danger, minders ordered the captain of the HMS Edinburgh stationed in Cape Town, South Africa, to switch them away from her five-star suite.

The U.S. agents have since been accused of overreacting after it emerged the Sea Dart missiles were, in fact, loaded with blanks having been used during a ceremony in honour of a sailor who had died.

Former Royal Navy officer Mike Critchley told the Daily Mirror: ‘This is typical American Secret Service going over the top.

‘I would have thought that they could trust their British allies to not put a missile through the bedroom window of the First Lady. It is unfortunate that this happened at an extremely sad time for the ship.’ Mrs Obama was on an official visit to South Africa in June and was staying in a luxury suite at the five star Table Bay Hotel.

Judicial Watch Obtains Documents Detailing the Cost to Taxpayers for Michelle Obama’s Family Trip

October 4, 2011 Leave a comment

Charges for the Aircraft and Crew Alone Amount to $424,142

Washington, DC — October 4, 2011

Judicial Watch, the organization that investigates and fights government corruption, announced today that it has obtained mission expense records and passenger manifests from the United States Air Force related to the June 21-27, 2011, trip taken by First Lady Michelle Obama, her family and her staff to South Africa and Botswana. Judicial Watch obtained the documents pursuant to an August 19, 2011, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit ( Judicial Watch v. U.S. Air Force (No. 11-1496)). Judicial Watch is investigating the purpose and itinerary of the trip as well as a breakdown of the costs to taxpayers.

On June 28, 2011, Judicial Watch filed a FOIA request seeking the mission taskings, transportation records, and passenger manifests for Michelle Obama’s Africa trip. Documents were only provided after Judicial Watch filed suit:

According to U.S. Department of Defense’s published hourly rates for the C-32A aircraft used for the trip, Judicial Watch calculated the total cost to American taxpayers was $424,142 for use of the aircraft (34.8 flight hours x $12,188 per hour). (The C-32 is a specially configured military version of the Boeing 757.) Other expenses – meals (off the plane), transportation, security, various services, etc. – have yet to be disclosed.

The passenger manifests confirm the presence of Obama’s daughter’s, Malia and Sasha on the trip. The two girls are listed as “Senior Staff.” The manifests also list Mrs. Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, and niece and nephew, Leslie and Avery Robinson, as well Mrs. Obama’s makeup and hairstylist (Carl Ray and Johnny Wright).

The expense records also show $928.44 was spent for “bulk food” purchases on flight. Overall, during the trip, 192 meals were served for the 21 passengers on board.

The professed purpose of Michelle Obama’s trip to South Africa and Botswana was to encourage young people living in the two growing democracies to become involved in national affairs; and during her scheduled stops in Pretoria and Cape Town, South Africa and in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, the First Lady used the opportunity to speak on education, health and wellness issues.

The trip also included such tourist events as visits to historical landmarks and museums, plus a nonworking chance to send time with Nelson Mandela, a meeting that Mrs. Obama described as “surreal.” The trip ended with a private family safari at a South African game reserve before the group returned to Washington on June 27.

“This trip was as much an opportunity for the Obama family to go on a safari as it was a trip to conduct government business,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This junket wasted tax dollars and the resources of our overextended military. No wonder we had to sue to pry loose this information.”

Previously, Judicial Watch uncovered that the First Couple’s 2009 “date night” trip to New York for dinner and a Broadway show cost taxpayers over $11,000 in Secret Service costs alone.

‘How much did the American people spend to send the first lady’ on safari?

August 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit over the federal government’s refusal to disclose how much taxpayers spent to send Michelle Obama on a “family outing” that included a safari in Africa.

The organization, which investigates and fights government corruption, earlier documented what appears to many to be the extravagant spending by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Records showed Pelosi cost taxpayers $101,000 for in-flight food and alcohol over a period in 2008 and 2009. At one point she instructed the Air Force to provide chocolate-covered strawberries for a snack, since it was her birthday……………

Michelle Obama Spent 42 Days on Vacation this Past Year

August 12, 2011 1 comment

Posted on Friday, August 12, 2011 2:45:55 PM by COUNTrecount

First Lady Michelle Obama over the last year has spent a total of 42 days on vacation, or a little more than one out of every nine days, according to a White House Dossier analysis of her travel.

Her vacations, the cost of which are mostly borne by taxpayers, include trips to Panama City, Fla., Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii, South Africa, Latin America, Vail, Colo., and her visit this week to her brother in Corvallis, Ore.

The total does not include a nine day sojourn in Martha’s Vineyard that the Obamas will enjoy this month. Nor does it include a trip she made to Ireland and Great Britain in May, which I’m counting as official travel.

The total vacation time would have been slightly higher had the Obamas gone as planned for an April weekend in Williamsburg, Va. The trip was cancelled due to an extended stalemate between President Obama and Congress over the budget.

Mrs. Obama’s extensive vacation travel comes while many America citizens find themselves out of work or having trouble making ends meet as the economic recovery stalls.

Taxpayers pick up most of the cost of transporting the first lady and her extensive entourage – including Secret Service and her staff – to her various destinations. While she may in some cases pay some of the tab for her personal expenses and travel, the amount is dwarfed by the overall cost to the public.

On trips she makes with the president, though, the costs are only somewhat greater that then they would have been had he travelled alone.

Mrs. Obama’s vacations began in August 2010 with a two day weekend trip to Panama City, Fla., where the Obamas stayed overnight at a Gulf of Mexico hotel in a symbolic effort to show that the Gulf area was safe for travel in the wake of the disastrous BP oil spill.

Next up was what has become an annual pilgrimage to ritzy Martha’s Vineyard, where the Obamas stayed 10 days and dined at several exorbitantly priced restaurants.

In December 2010, with President Obama delayed because Congress was still in town, Mrs. Obama decided to leave without him for their annual Hawaiian vacation, racking up at least $63,000 in additional costs because she travelled alone.

Since the president arrived late, he decided to leave Hawaii in January two days later than scheduled – resulting in a 17 day vacation for the first lady.

Mrs. Obama went right back out on vacation the following month, taking a four day skiing trip in February of this year to Vail, Colo.

In March, Mrs. Obama travelled to Latin America for a five day trip. I’m counting two days of this as vacation, though, because she took her children and her mother along, performed some sightseeing, and went to the beach.

The first lady went to southern Africa in June for six days in what was partially an official visit. Since Mrs. Obama took her mother, her children and their cousins along, since the trip was billed in advance as having personal significance for her, and since the travel included several tourist destinations and a safari, I’m counting half of the journey as vacation, or three days.

Finally, Mrs, Obama took her mother and one of her children to visit her brother in Corvallis, Ore. this week. The trip was not announced by the White House and appears to have lasted four days.

The Myth That Democracy = Freedom by Thomas DiLorenzo

Mercer’s description of South Africa’s “diversity” policies, otherwise known as institutionalized discrimination against white males, sounds almost identical to the same polices that exist today in American society. Such “diversity” has indeed become the mating call of nearly every academic bureaucrat in higher education. Hiring by skin color instead of by merit is mandatory in South Africa, and increasingly so in the U.S.

South Africa has also adopted the housing policy of American Congressman Barney Frank and his Democratic Party colleagues in that “South Africa’s financial institutions [have been] forced to provide loans to blacks with lower credit ratings,” known in the U.S. as “subprime lending” or “the Community Reinvestment Act.” Thus, reprehensible institutionalized discrimination against blacks has been replaced by reprehensible institutionalized discrimination against whites.

In drawing comparisons to the U.S. Mercer recalls how U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is a self-described “affirmative action baby” who did not have the academic qualifications to enter Princeton and Yale. She was admitted anyway because of her ethnicity and, according to the New York Times, was told at Princeton to improve her reading skills “by reading children’s classics and studying basic grammar books during her summers.” Mercer quotes Pat Buchanan as asking the obvious question: “How do you graduate first in your class at Princeton if your summer reading consists of Chicken Little and The Troll Under the Bridge?”

CNN reporter: ‘How’s the family ready for this [the election]? It’s going to be quite vicious, isn’t it? How do you prepare for that?’

First Lady Michelle Obama: ‘You know, it’s … we’re ready, you know. Our children, you know, could care less about what we’re doing. We work hard to do that. Fortunately, we have help from the media. I have to say this: I’m very grateful for the support and kindness that we’ve gotten. People have respected their privacy and in that way, I think, you know, no matter what people may feel about my husband’s policies or what have you, they care about children and that’s been good to see.’

GORDON DUFF: IN MOTION: THE PLOT TO DESTROY THE UNITED STATES : Veterans Today

November 13, 2010 Leave a comment

Plans are in motion for a “false flag” attack on America.

Iran will be blamed, everyone knows that and Iran will be totally innocent. This is the last thing Iran would ever want.

The most likely scenario is a nuclear attack.

Two bombs are missing, bombs built by Israel in South Africa and lost long ago.

These were supposedly Saddam’s bombs.

Now we are told Iran has them. Israel has had them all along and the fear, they may be inside the United States already. The Israeli game with these weapons is one of the worst kept secrets in the world and has already cost the deaths of many.

It will take nothing short of the detonation of one of this Hiroshima sized Israeli nukes to push America into Israel’s war with Iran, much as hunting for these nukes which Israel informed President Bush were in Iraq, led “the decider” to making one of the many blunders of his career.

Our next 9/11 will be nuclear. The purpose will be to push America into a 20 year war that will destroy Iran and Pakistan, take oil to over $300 per barrel and collapse the dollar and Euro. Iran isn’t Iraq of 2003, toothless and starving.

This will be America’s last military adventure, and the end of America’s place in the world as we know it.

We know the details of the proposed military campaign and the military and political leaders who support it are the worst imaginable incompetents and traitors…
