We have met the enemy and they are us. Why do you suppose they are training in Tampa Florida of all places?
The sad truth is, the US has become a willing partner in the global police force.

Shortened yellow light standards result in more red light camera tickets
Mysuncoast.com ^ | 05/14/13 | Noah PranskyPosted on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 6:33:55 PM by oxcartTAMPA BAY, Florida WTSP —
A subtle, but significant tweak to Florida’s rules regarding traffic signals has allowed local cities and counties to shorten yellow light intervals, resulting in millions of dollars in additional red light camera fines.
The rule change was followed by engineers, both from FDOT and local municipalities, collaborating to shorten the length of yellow lights at key intersections, specifically those with red light cameras RLCs.While yellow light times were reduced by mere fractions of a second, research indicates a half-second reduction in the interval can double the number of RLC citations — and the revenue they create.
The 10 News investigation stemmed from a December discovery of a dangerously short yellow light in Hernando County. After the story aired, the county promised to re-time all of its intersections, and the 10 News Investigators promised to dig into yellow light timing all across Tampa Bay.Red light cameras generated more than $100 million in revenue last year in approximately 70 Florida communities, with 52.5 percent of the revenue going to the state. The rest is divided by cities, counties, and the camera companies. In 2013, the cameras are on pace to generate $120 million.

What are uniformed field representatives of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Community Relations Service (CRS) doing assisting Occupy/anarchist activists outside the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa?
TAMPA, Fla. – Mirroring the passionate support he drew in the Republican primary campaign, Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, told an enthusiastic crowd of about 10,000 “Liberty Movement” supporters yesterday near the site of the GOP convention why he has repeatedly called for ending the Federal Reserve.
This Convention Matters

We’ve all heard the objection that political conventions have become empty kabuki theater. The high drama of multiple ballots is dead and gone. Uncertainty about the outcome is no more. “Today,” laments political guru Mike Murphy, “delegates are bound through the application of TV ad ratings points, not machine deals.
I don’t have a lot of background on this depressing story, but will lead you to what I have. It seems the GOP is
attempting to change the rules of how delegates work within the party, which includes allowing the presumptive presidential nominee to replace delegates elected by the states. Three points are laid out:
Mitt Romney’s legal advisor,
Ben Ginsburg, has been attacking grassroots activism within the Republican Party during the Convention of the Rules Committee that met Friday prior to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FLaccording to a source at the meeting.
speech in Tampa next week has been leaked. Here’s just one line. “All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Tampa, and, therefore, as a free man, I take pride in the words, ‘Ich bin ein Tampon.’”
No Ron Paul Revolution at Convention… (“the establishment made significant concessions on the platform to the Paul folks even before the group convened.”)
The Republican establishment has quelled the Ron Paul Revolution, at least for 2012. To dissuade Paul supporters from
disrupting this week’s pomp and circumstance, the establishment made significant concessions on the platform to the Paul folks even before the group convened.
That Biden visit to Tampa got my wheels spinning. What the hell are they up to? How far is Biden willing to go to remain relevant? To stay on the ticket? So I put some feelers out to the WH. Got lots of people willing to talk and share these days.
Here’s the deal. Nobody has heard anything on that visit beyond it’s being planned. SS had protocols in place only as recently as 72 hours ago. So this thing wasn’t planned more than a week ago. At the most. That means the campaign is being damn tight lipped about it which is out of the ordinary for them. Now that has me really thinking. Something don’t sit right here. Why send the #2 right down to the GOP convention? What is the purpose? Leak the trip, but don’t say anything substantial regarding the reason for the trip. Just a publicity stunt? An attempt at poking the eye of the Romney team?
Our Odds of Beating Obama Are Better By Dumping Mitt in a Brokered Convention

…fell short at the Nebraska GOP convention, where they had hoped to out-organize Mitt Romney’s delegates and push Paul over a critical threshold that would have ensured him an official presence and speaking slot at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., in August.
As the last state where Republicans will hold a convention in which delegates are up for grabs, Nebraska represented the last chance for Paul’s supporters.

Foreign troops practice for any disturbance at the GOP convention
Last week, Ron Paul announced he had lost his battle for the nomination. He urged his troops not to disrupt the Republican Party machinery in Tampa at the convention.
In a coordinated declaration, his son, Senator Rand Paul, endorsed Obama’s twin, Romney, for president.

In his more high profile appearance since leaving the race for the Republican presidential nomination, former Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Rick Santorum said Sunday that he is prepared to battle Texas Congressman Ron Paul for the loudest voice at this year’s Republican presidential convention.
“Special Operations members from the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force will work alongside SOF troops from other countries to ‘assault’ mock enemy positions and rescuing ‘hostages’ next to the convention center, both on land and in the bay,” ABC News in Tampa reported.
Supporters of presidential candidate Ron Paul are negotiating to hold a three-day festival of music, entertainment and activism at the Florida State Fairgrounds immediately before the Republican National Convention.Paul Festival 2012 would run from Aug. 24-26, ending the day before the convention begins.
Details like ticket prices and who would be on stage have not been announced, but the festival could draw 20,000 or more people a day, estimated Deborah Robinet, an organizer who lives near San Diego, Calif.

RON PAUL STATEMENT ON CAMPAIGN GOING FORWARD
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE LEADERSHIP POSITIONS, WIN DELEGATES, AND CARRY A STRONG MESSAGE TO THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION THAT LIBERTY IS THE WAY OF THE FUTURE.” – RON PAUL
LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul issued the following statement to supporters and the general public concerning the continuation of his historic bid for the GOP nomination.
The statement tees up forthcoming information the campaign will release concerning its fruitful delegate-attainment strategy still occurring at delegate-selection events such as state conventions ahead of the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
Below please find comments from Congressman Paul:
“As I reflect on our 2012 Presidential campaign, I am humbled by the supporters who have worked so hard and sacrificed so much. And I am so proud of what we have accomplished. We will not stop until we have restored what once made America the greatest country in human history…………….
Prison Planet.com » Ron Paul Could Still Win Enough Delegates To Deny Mitt Romney The Republican Nomination
…..The game is still being played.
It would be a challenge, but if his supporters get energized enough, it certainly is possible that Ron Paul could still win enough delegates to deny Mitt Romney the Republican nomination on the first ballot in Tampa.
Red Mass Group is reporting that the Romney Campaign is planning on decertifying the Ron Paul delegates that won positions at the MA State Caucuses on April 28th to the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida under the “Ronald Reagan Unity Liberty Slate, by invoking Rule 5.2, which requires delegates to be certified by the “allocation committee.”

City Wants Executive Order to Ban Concealed Carry in Tampa During RNC
Tampa’s City Council wants Governor Rick Scott to pass an executive order banning concealed carry rights to coincide with protests at the Republican National Convention later this year.
“The thousands of protesters expected at the Democratic and Republican national conventions can come armed with a lot more than signs and slogans: State law in Florida and North Carolina allows concealed weapons, including guns,” reports the Sacramento Bee.
“The Tampa City Council wants Scott to issue an executive order, preventing people with concealed weapons permits from carrying guns.”

In the early 1800′s Congress was considering a bill to give tax dollars to the widow of a well-loved military officer. Davy Crockett rose to address Congress after many speeches advocating the allocation. He said: “Mr. Speaker…. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has no power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it.
We have the right, as individuals to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity, but as members of Congress we have no right to so appropriate a dollar of the public money. We have no…. authority to appropriate it as a charity. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.”
There was silence on the floor of the House as Crockett took his seat. When the bill was put to a vote, instead of passing unanimously as had been expected, it received only a few votes. The next day a friend asked Crockett why he spoken against a bill for such a worthy cause. In reply, Crockett related the following story: Just a few years before, he had voted to spend $20,000.00 of public money to help the victims of a fire in Georgetown.
When the legislative session was over, Crockett made a trip back home to campaign for his re-election. He encountered one of his constituents. The man told Crockett, “I voted for you the last time. I shall not vote for you again.”
Crockett, feeling he had served his constituents well, was stunned. He inquired as to what he had done wrong. The man replied, “You gave a vote last winter which shows that either you have not capacity to understand the Constitution, or that you are wanting in the honesty and firmness to be guided by it.
Exclusive Special Report by Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea
The source reporting Special Agent in Charge of ATF’s Tampa Field Division Virginia O’Brien “ran a gun-running investigation that was walking guns to Honduras using the techniques and tactics identical to Fast and Furious” contacted these correspondents again this evening with this follow-up report:
O’Brien is in full meltdown. She ordered supervisors from around the Division to report immediately to division offices and to plan on working through the entire weekend on the coverup.
Her partner in the bungle was ASAC Scott McCampbell. At one point the case was ready to be wrapped up with arrests and remain relatively efficient but O’Brien and McCampbell decided on their own to keep it going to “get more” against the advise of thier field employees and the walked guns numbers got out of control.
Nearly the same culprits above her are on the hook for this. Chait knew about it so did Hoover and Melson. The new player is DAD East Julie Torres. She took O’Brien’s old DAD job when OB went to Tampa and has given OB carte blanche to do whatever she wants with little oversight.
Reportedly the shredders are buzzing.

Could it have anything to do with environmental toxins.
Two and a half years ago, Randy White’s daughter Kristen was diagnosed with brain cancer. She went through chemo, radiation and three brain biopsies, but nothing worked. Just 30 years old, she died in his house, in his arms.
“She was never sick a day in her life” before the cancer, White told AOL News.
Just two months after he had buried Kristen, White’s other daughter, Angie, was diagnosed with a highly abnormal stomach cancer, which doctors were able to successfully remove. But six weeks later, his ex-wife took a fall that revealed an advanced renal cell cancer. According to White, the doctors at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla., told them that these cases didn’t look genetic — they were environmental.
White, a preacher from Tampa, didn’t have to look far. He had raised his children in Frederick, Md., where people have struggled with groundwater contamination for years. Also, some residents remembered nearby Fort Detrick had tested the chemical defoliant known as Agent Orange in the late 1960s and ’70s.
The Maryland’s Department of Health said that they will investigate why people living near the base are dying of cancer earlier.
Janet Napolitano said last month that we should expect to soon see tighter restrictions at bus, train, and marine transportation centers, too. Here’s a report about TSA, Border Patrol, and local police setting up a checkpoint at a Greyhound station in Tampa.
Note how quickly preventing a possible terrorist attack expands to include catching illegal immigrants, and preventing drug and what sounds like “cash smuggling.” It’s hard to tell from the audio. Note also the complete and utter reverence the local news report bestows on these government agencies, who after all are merely “teaming up to keep your family safe.”
