With the overt disclosure of the 2045 program, a scientific advancement process intended to
ultimately lead to ‘immortality’ via an artificial body and mind, a startlingly clear picture of what was once thought of as a science fiction fantasy is forming into reality in a profound way.

The Battle of Athens
2 AUGUST 1946
I. Introduction
On 2 August 1946, some Americans, brutalized by their county government, used armed force to overturn it. These Americans wanted honest, open elections. For years they had asked for state or Federal election monitors to prevent vote fraud -- forged ballots, secret ballot counts, and intimidation by armed sheriff's deputies -- by the local political boss.

“And our small planet, at this moment, here we face a critical branch-point in the history. What we do with our world, right now, will propagate down through the centuries and powerfully affect the destiny of our descendants. It is well within our power to destroy our civilization, and perhaps our species as well. If we capitulate to superstition, or greed, or stupidty we can plunge our world into a darkness deeper than time between the collapse of classical civilization and the Italian Renaissaince. But, we are also capable of using our compassion and our intelligence, our technology and our wealth, to make an abundant and meaningful life for every inhabitant of this planet. To enhance enormously our understanding of the Universe, and to carry us to the stars.” -Carl Sagan, astronomer
Pastor Roger Anghis — Did American’s Loose Their Will for Liberty?
I have seen over the last 50 years a growing lack of willingness of the population to be involved in current events. My late step-father forced me to keep up on current events. He was a legal immigrant from Greece and served in WWI and WWII. He almost never talked about his native country because they had gone so far to the left. His new home was America and that’s what he talked about. He told me the proudest day of his life was when he received his citizenship. He knew from experience that the average citizen had to pay attention to what government was doing or the government would begin to ignore the people and do what they wanted to do. We are there!Citizens no longer pay much attention to what our politicians do and because of that we have lost many of the rights and privileges that our Founders spilled their blood for. I remember thinking to myself about hearing some of the things that government was trying to do and thought that that could never happen in America.
Then I woke up. It not only could, but it was happening right before my eyes. When I began to study how this was happening I found that most people no longer pay attention to what Washington is doing. There used to be a day when men and women conducted their lives and businesses with honor and integrity. A man’s word was his bond.
The Constitution Rendered All Other Forms of Government Obsolete| The Post & Email
BUT WHERE DO “WE THE PEOPLE” STAND NOW?
by Neil Turner
(Dec. 23, 2011) — The Constitution was a better idea, making all that went before it OBSOLETE. It made:
Tribalism & Socialism: OBSOLETE
Caesars & Potentates: OBSOLETE
Dictators & Kings: OBSOLETE
Communism & Fascism (extreme LEFT): OBSOLETE
Democracy & Anarchy (extreme RIGHT): OBSOLETE
Totalitarianism & BIG Government: OBSOLETE
OBSOLESENCE
(The process of becoming no longer in use or of being useful:
OBSOLETE – replaced by a better idea)
This ‘new idea’, a Constitutional Republic, where the People had the final say – according to an agreed-upon (and sworn-to) set of rules and standards to guide them. A new and better idea that turned the old way of doing things UPSIDE-DOWN!

Skrew the electric vehicles—PERIOD!!!!!
‘Twere BigBromoFo not involved at all, I might very well be of a somewhat different opinion, and American ingenuity would triumph on this too!
Way back around ‘62 or so, they began sticking their noses in our business by requiring a little PCV device in the line to carburetors. I didn’t like that, but everybody said it was no problem, only cost about 50 cents, and you could easily stick it in the line yourself, w/o assistance of a technician. Before this, they had started requiring seatbelts, padded dashes, etc.
Now I deeply resent all the pollution/electronic/environmental bs required, and the engine, etc. itself is designed around the requirements themselves and not for the best results and performance of the vehicle itself.
How nutso is that!
In addition, there is all the bs additional bells, buzzers, and whistles warning of this or that, the doors locking you in as you leave your driveway, etc.
Imagine, if you can, what great vehicles, the great gas mileage, we could have if we were free from bigbro’s requirements—but we are not, and I don’t even feel better bidging bout it anymore.

MADISON – Hydrogen peroxide isn’t just that bottled colorless liquid in the back of the medicine cabinet that’s used occasionally for cleaning scraped knees and cut fingers.
It’s also a natural chemical in the body that rallies at wound sites, jump-starting immune cells into a series of events.
A burst of hydrogen peroxide causes neutrophils, the immune system‘s first responders, to rush to the wound to fight microorganisms, remove damaged tissue and then start the inflammation process.

The Non-Energy Generating Department of Energy and the Smart Grid
The Non-Energy Generating Department of Energy and the Smart Grid:
“The Department of Energy is an arm of the federal government, run by career bureaucrats who march in synch with United Nation’s Agenda 21 goals of “sustainability,” does not produce any energy, subsidizes for profit university and laboratory research with our taxpayer dollars, and wants to implement smart grid technology in order to control 24/7 our daily lives.
Is it a good idea to allow them into our homes to install Smart Meters?”

NASA Still Ordered To Waste $1.4M Per Day
— Congress has again failed to rid a temporary spending bill of language forcing NASA to waste $1.4 million a day on its defunct Constellation moon program.
Though Congress passed a new stopgap spending bill last week, the measure retained a leftover provision from the 2010 budget that bars the agency from shutting down Constellation, which Congress and the White House agreed to cancel last October.

Your Insane U.S. Energy Department by Alan Caruba
Your Insane U.S. Energy Departmentby Alan CarubaWarning SignsRecently by Alan Caruba:
Why It’s Too Darn Hot In mid-September, Cathy Zoi, an Assistant Secretary of Energy, said that the U.S. Department of Energy has a “mandate” to issue regulations about what household appliances should be available to Americans in the future.A CNSnews story reported that while speaking at the inaugural meeting of the recently reestablished Secretary of Energy Advisory Board, Ms. Zoi “pointed to four tactics the Obama administration intended to use to advance the ‘deployment of clean energy.’ The first three were government subsidies, special tax incentives, and low-interest government-backed loans for green energy projects.”The likelihood that any of these “green energy” projects will yield any electrical power comparable to a single coal-fired or nuclear plant is negligible. Two recent huge wastes of taxpayer money involve a $57 million program that includes $11 million under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – the failed “stimulus” plan – to support clean energy technology commercialization projects for 33 small businesses across the country.Among the projects is “harvesting/dewatering technology for algal biofuels,” money devoted to algae as a source of power. Other projects include organic light-emitting diodes, and advanced materials and bio-fueled oxide fuel cells. Meanwhile, the moratorium on oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico restricts the provision of an energy source on which the nation is dependent. In September the DOE also awarded $37 million for “marine and hydrokinetic energy technology development.”
The object of this is to “accelerate the technologies and commercial readiness of technologies to generate renewable electricity from the nation’s oceans and free-flowing rivers and streams.” Meanwhile the nation already generates six percent of its electricity from hydroelectric systems among which the Hoover Dam is one of the best known. The Department of Energy was created in the wake of the oil crisis of the 1970s and was signed into existence by President Jimmy Carter on August 4, 1977. Its responsibilities were the nation’s nuclear weapons program, a nuclear reactor for the U.S. Navy, energy conservation, energy-related research, radioactive waste disposal, and domestic energy production. It currently employs 16,000 federal workers and, in 2009, had an annual budget of $24.1 billion. President Obama appointed Dr. Steven Chu as its Secretary. Dr. Chu is perhaps best known for recommending that global warming can be avoided by painting the roofs and highways white in order to reflect back the sun’s radiation. Will someone please get a net and throw it over Dr. Chu?
The left’s war on the gasoline-powered car
Professor Obama is looking to grade you on your car-buying preferences. Beginning with the 2012 model year, new vehicles will carry revised window stickers bearing ratings from “A+” to “D,” with the highest marks reserved for choices the administration endorses and the lowest for those it frowns upon.
This is just the latest example of the nanny state mentality that has taken hold inside the Beltway.
The schoolmarms at the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation jointly proposed the new labels Monday. The idea is to give government-subsidized electric vehicles -

The Death Of Cash? All Over The World Governments Are Banning Large Cash Transactions
Economic Collapse BlogMonday, August 30, 2010Are we witnessing the slow but certain death of cash in this generation? Is a truly cashless society on the horizon? Legislation currently pending in the Mexican legislature would ban a vast array of large cash transactions, but the truth is that Mexico is far from alone in trying to restrict cash.
All over the world, governments are either placing stringent reporting requirements on large cash transactions or they are banning them altogether. We are being told that such measures are needed to battle illegal drug traffic, to catch tax evaders and to fight the war on terror. But are we rapidly getting to the point where we will have no financial privacy left whatsoever? Should we just accept that we have entered a time when the government will watch, track and trace all financial transactions? Is it inevitable that at some point in the near future ALL transactions will go through the banking system in one form or another check, credit card, debit card, etc.?The truth is that we now live at a time when people who use large amounts of cash are looked upon with suspicion. In fact, authorities in many countries are taught that anyone involved in a large expenditure of cash is trying to hide something and is probably a criminal. And yes, a lot of criminals do use cash, but millions upon millions of normal, law-abiding citizens simply prefer to use cash as well.
Should we take the freedom to use cash away from the rest of us just because a small minority abuses it?

Congressman Takes On Invasive Vans That Peer Into Homes
Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz is speaking out against vans that carry scanning technology inside them that allows people to see through the walls of cars, trucks, and even into homes.“These vans essentially can look through the walls of your home, look through the walls of a vehicle or a container and they can tell what’s inside.
They can see through people’s clothes and give you some great detail about people’s bodies, much like they do at the airport. That’s pretty scary,” Chaffetz tells KSL Newsradio.ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW
1992 John Holdren Publication Reaffirms Devotion to Population Control through “Global Effort”
Yet another writing has surfaced authored by current science czar John P. Holdren, detailing his enduring vision of a depopulated planet and the global efforts that should be made to accomplish it.
Although described in detail in Ecoscience and other publications from the 70s, this new find proves once again and beyond a shadow of a doubt that the fox has far from lost his eugenic tricks. In a 1992 Cambridge Press Publication Energy Efficiency and Human Activity: Past Trends, Future Prospects, cosponsored by the Stockholm Environment Institute, John P. Holdren wrote a 52 page prologue called “The Transition to Costlier Energy”.
In it, he repeats his long-cherished vision of a planetary regime under which population control would be implemented more effectively. From page 36 onward:“… the population can’t be frozen. Indeed, short of a catastrophe, it can hardly be levelled off below 9 billion. Indeed, without a global effort at population limitation far exceeding anything that has materialized so far, the population of the planet could soar to 14 billion or more by the year 2100.”

DIGG THIS
For libertarian-minded people, that is.
This assertion may seem counterintuitive and even dead wrong in an age of metastasizing American empire, state corporatism-lite at home, a shredded Bill of Rights, and a crazy unitary executive.
But there is good news. It is consumed daily not just by the remnants, or the vanguards of American libertarianism, or free thinkers – but by hundreds of millions of average people across the country.
Heartland and city dwellers, those in small towns and suburbs, are all seeing what we libertarians see, and drawing many of the same conclusions.
And I’m not just talking about the Ron Paul campaign! Dr. Paul is a guiding star for people across a contrived political spectrum and across educational, economic and cultural divides in this country. The very possibility of his presidency is simultaneously exciting and comforting, and the founders would be very proud.
Today, we still accept as normal a massive federal government, fifty growing state governments, and a 20th-century money-printing Federal Reserve that works for whom, we aren’t sure. We live in an era of state/corporate-led mercantilism that we are told is free trade and globalism. While most Americans do not admit to empire, and certainly none of our schoolbooks suggest it, Americans accept the garrisoning of the planet with our military forces and our corporate talons as part of the modern condition. And, like people in countries everywhere, whether emphasizing a glorious past, present or future, we publicly believe our country is strong and glorious.
But you wanted good news. Here’s a start.
