NORTH KOREA has warned Japan that Tokyo would be the first target in the event of a war on the Korean Peninsula, as it increased threats of an attack.

In a commentary carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the communist country lashed out at Tokyo’s standing orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan, threatening such actions will result in a nuclear attack against the island nation.

Investigations into the nuclear terror threat against the UK Olympics last summer and into the March 11, 2011 nuclear and tsunami terror attack against Japan have netted a lot of big fish and is starting to zero in on US President Barak Obama, according to MI6, Japanese military intelligence and Japanese royal family sources.

Among people now being questioned are George Bush Sr. and former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone of Japan, the sources say. Nakasone was taken into custody by six pentagon types last week and is undergoing questioning, a Japanese royal family source says.

Also, Japanese Zionist politician Shintaro Ishihara has been reported missing by his family and yakuza sources say he has been tortured to death (in the official news says Ishihara has been hospitalized and is not receiving visitors).

Doolittle Raiders share memories of their exploits at EAA

Oshkosh – As they flew over Tokyo, Richard Cole and David Thatcherrealized with relief that Japanese anti-aircraft gunners had never before fired at enemy planes.

As the first Americans to strike Japan’s home islands during World War II, Cole and Thatcher found that the ack-ack-ack of the flak guns did little damage to the 16 B-25B Mitchell medium bombers that achieved fame as the Doolittle Raiders.

It was only four months after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, and Japanese military commanders had promised their nation that it was invulnerable.

…..Instead, there has been next to nothing. It was mentioned, then forgotten. The nation’s Communist media, left and right, no doubt in the grip of wall-to-wall homosexual propaganda, apparently believe the incident was a perfectly normal expression. Again, I believe it is a symptom of the fact that the nation is tottering on its last legs. The conspiracy for world government has succeeded enormously in destroying our foundations.

(“The only important things in my life were the US marines, your mother and you kids.””) Used by the State, Even in Death by Mike (in Tokyo) Rogers

June 1, 2012 Leave a comment

My father died last year. One of the last wishes of this retired career marine father was to have a burial at sea in the tradition of the military.

He told me upon his death bed, “The only important things in my life were the US marines, your mother and you kids.”

I wasn’t pleased at all with this decision for a military burial as I do not believe that the US military really “takes care of its own” at all. One need just look at all the military veterans who are homeless or had their bodies and ashes dumped in landfills for evidence of this. But it was my father’s life and death and, since I no longer live in the USA, it was difficult for me to try to convince my father and remaining family that we should have a quiet family-only ceremony like we did for my mother.

(Gunny G: Dog Story) Hachiko: The World’s Most Loyal Dog

May 21, 2012 Leave a comment

If you’ve ever seen the canceled-before-its-time (but now revived!) show Futurama, you’ll probably remember Bender, the alcoholic robot; Leela, the beautiful one-eyed captain; and Philip J. Fry, the bumbling pizza delivery boy who was cryogenically frozen for a thousand years before joining the Planet Express intergalactic mail delivery team. But do you remember Fry’s loyal, loving dog, who waited for his master until the end of his life? If you didn’t think a cartoon character could make you cry, it might be time to reevaluate after you watch this heart-wrenching scene.

Now, of course, Fry’s dog never really existed (nor did the murderous Killbots, luckily), and you might scoff at the idea that any canine could really exercise such supreme loyalty. After all, your dog forgets that you’re alive whenever your sister stops by bearing bags of Pupperoni. And while it’s true that most animals are more loyal to their meals than to their masters, we know of an amazingly faithful dog that could be a real-life counterpart to Fry’s ever-loving pooch: Hachiko, an Akita from Tokyo.

An Empire of Liberty? by Ryan McMaken ~ “Cowboy Nation,” in the October 23rd issue of The New Republic, contends that the United States, contrary to the popular myth, is now and always has been a nation committed to aggressive and often violent expansionist tendencies…

December 30, 2011 6 comments

Robert Kagan‘s feature, “Cowboy Nation,” in the October 23rd issue of The New Republic, contends that the United States, contrary to the popular myth, is now and always has been a nation committed to aggressive and often violent expansionist tendencies.

Cowboy Nation, Plate 2

Image by Thomas Hawk via Flickr

As a leading neoconservative, Kagan’s analysis is meant to prove that American intervention throughout the world is perfectly in line with the United States government’s long history of projecting its power to every corner of the globe. Thus, tradition allows and even demands that the United States continue to have its hand in domestic and international affairs from Tokyo to Rome and from Ottawa to Buenos Aires.

While I’ll take exception to his conclusions here, it is nevertheless difficult to disagree with Kagan’s assertion that America’s history is indeed a history of aggression. One needn’t know every detail of American foreign policy history or of the history of westward expansion to see that the history of America in the world is not the America of George Washington’s Farewell Address, but is much more the history of Theodore Roosevelt‘s Great White Fleet and of Roosevelt’s ally and disciple Albert Beveridge who made things quite clear in 1898 as he defended the American occupation of the Philippines with his speech entitled “The March of the Flag”:

It is a glorious history our God has bestowed upon His chosen people; a history heroic with faith in our mission and our future; a history of statesmen who flung the boundaries of the Republic out into the unexplored lands and savage wilderness; a history of soldiers who carried the flag across blazing deserts and through the ranks of hostile mountains.…Therefore, in this campaign, the question is larger than a party question. It is an American question….Shall the American people continue their march toward the commercial supremacy of the world? Shall free institutions broaden their blessed reign as the children of liberty wax in strength, until the empire of our principles is established over the hearts of all mankind?

The Collapse of the American Empire

December 7, 2011 Leave a comment

Yes, Aristotle declared there to be a limit to the size of states: “a limit, as there is to other things, plants, animals, implements; for none of these retain their natural power when they are too large…, but they either wholly lose their nature, or are spoiled,” so he said.

But, really, what the hell did he know? He lived at a time when the entire population of the world was somewhere around 50 million people – about the size of England today – the population of the Greek-speaking city-states, which were not united in a nation, in all may have been 8 million, and Athens, where he lived, considered a large city, would have been under 100,000 people. Limits? He couldn’t even imagine a world (ours) of 6.8 billion, a nation (China) of 1.3 billion, or a city (Tokyo) of 36 million. How is he going to help us?

Actually… none of the above. Fukushima and the surrounding prefecture is as quaint and picturesque as ever. Eight months on, there are hardly any signs of a nuclear accident or major earthquake, at least on the surface.

The TEA party’s Cain mutiny

October 18, 2011 Leave a comment

The TEA party is in a, mutiny, a Cain Mutiny and the Republican establishment – Karl Tokyo Rove and his “open the borders to get Hispanics to vote Republican” friends- don’t know what to do about it.

Last year the TEA party movement scared the Democrats. With the major league butt kicking we put on the Democrats they finally got the message.

Nevertheless, along the way we learned a hard lesson as we watched the Republican establishment savage our candidates in Delaware Nevada and Alaska.

They helped Harry Reid hold the Senate because to them Democrats are preferable to TEA partiers. We got their message, now we will be the ones teaching the lessons. Now we will have to scare the Republican establishment, Tokyo Rove types.

Our first order of business in scaring the Republicans is this message: WE WILL NOT NOMINATE WILLARD ROMNEY – PERIOD!

It is not only us who are saying we won’t fall for their “faux” conservative. Consider these recent poll results: Out of 49,000 votes cast in a nine way Newsmax survey, Herman Cain got 35592 or (71%), Willard Romney got 3604 or (7%) – 1/10th Cain’s vote!

The new Zogby poll (certainly no far right operation) shows that not only does Cain beat Willard Romney by 20 points in a race for the Republican nomination, Cain now actually beats Obama and Willard loses to Obama. Suck on that Tokyo Rove!

In the latest Economist/YouGov poll Cain’s 33% almost doubles Willard’s 18%.

The liberal Democrat run Public Policy Polling firm shows Cain beating Willard 30/22 and moving up.

In a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll Willard’s 23 points trailed Cain’s 27 points. While Cain’s numbers increased by almost 5 times what he had August, Willard’s 23 …in August.

Chernobyl-Style Yellow Rain Causes Panic In Japan

Authorities assure alarmed citizens yellow powder is pollen, but victims of Chernobyl radiation were told the same thing

Paul Joseph Watson

Prison Planet.com

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Radioactive yellow rain that fell in Tokyo and surrounding areas last night caused panic amongst Japanese citizens and prompted a flood of phone calls to Japan’s Meteorological Agency this morning, with people concerned that they were being fed the same lies as victims of Chernobyl, who were told that yellow rain which fell over Russia and surrounding countries after the 1986 disaster was merely pollen, the same explanation now being offered by Japanese authorities.

“After two days of rain in Tokyo I woke up to a thick coating of this yellow stuff all over my car. What looks like a glare between the glass and the body of the car is actually pollen. My first thought was ewe! Radioactive sludge from Fukushima, but no,” states the comment associated with this You Tube clip.

Japanese Gov’t Blacks Out Radiation Readings Closest to Smouldering Plants

March 17, 2011 1 comment

The Japanese government’s radiation report for the country’s 47 prefectures Wednesday had a notable omission: Fukushima, ground zero in Japan’s nuclear crisis.

Measurements from Ibaraki, just south of Fukushima, were also blanked out.Radiation experts in the USA say that the lack of information about radioactivity released from the smoldering reactors makes it impossible to gauge the current danger, project how bad a potential meltdown might be or calculate how much fallout might reach the USA.

Japanese nuclear experts are hard at work gathering information, said Fred Mettler, the U.S. representative for the United Nation’s committee on the health effects of radiation. “They’re monitoring and evaluating and watching the meteorology,” he said. “They need to know what the dose rates are in various places, what direction the radiation is moving in and what’s causing it.”Conflicting accounts of the radiation levels emerged in Tokyo and on Capitol Hill. Japan’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said Wednesday that the radiation detected at the Fukushima plant had fallen steadily over the past 12 hours.

But U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission NRC chief Gregory Jaczko told a House energy subcommittee earlier in the day that radiation levels at the Fukushima plant were “extremely high.”Full article here

27 Signs That The Nuclear Crisis In Japan Is Much Worse Than Either The Mainstream Media Or The Japanese Government Have Been Telling Us

March 16, 2011 Leave a comment

The Economic CollapseMarch 16, 2011How much of a threat is the nuclear crisis in Japan? That question is on the minds of millions of people around the globe tonight. Unfortunately, the Japanese government and the mainstream media have both been doing their best to downplay this crisis. Even though there have been massive explosions at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear facility, authorities in Japan have still been very stingy with information and they keep insisting that the situation is under control. But the situation is not under control. In fact, it just seems to get worse with each passing day.

Radiation levels are now incredibly high at the Fukushima Dai-ichi complex and the radiation cloud is starting to spread. Radiation levels in Tokyo are already 10 times above normal levels, and there are reports in the international media that some people have begun to flee the city. It is imperative that the Japanese government tell the truth about what is going on because this could potentially affect the health of millions of people.

There are over 12 million people in the city of Tokyo alone. If this nuclear crisis continues to get worse it could potentially end up killing more Japanese than the tsunami just did.Yes, things really are that serious. We are not just talking about a repeat of Chernobyl. We are possibly talking about “many Chernobyls”.

It is somewhat understandable that the Japanese government and the mainstream media do not want to panic the public, but the reality is that people need the truth about what is going on.

Nuclear Melt-Down? The Government to the Rescue by Mike in Tokyo Rogers

…It has been a brutal tragedy of errors that makes me wonder why anyone would trust or believe anything the government says.I am not talking about just the Japanese government here.

I am talking about all governments. All governments lie all the time. It is the nature of government to do so.As of the writing of this article, the situation at the nuclear power plants keeps getting worse as it has been reported that after the first nuclear power plant’s dome cracked, exploded and is now experiencing at least a partial nuclear meltdown, a second reactor is now in danger of the same.Interestingly of the writing of this article, there were reports that the Japanese government still has not admitted that there has been an explosion at the first reactor plant even though there is video evidence of the event.Like I said, that anyone would trust what the government says is simply astounding to me.

How many times do people need to be lied to before they start to get suspicious?

Need I remind dear reader by going through a litany of lies over these past few years?

Nuclear Plant Designer Says Japanese Government Suppressing Scale Of Crisis

March 13, 2011 1 comment

A former nuclear power plant designer has said Japan is facing an extremely grave crisis and called on the government to release more information, which he said was being suppressed. Masashi Goto told a news conference in Tokyo that one of the reactors at the Fukushima-Daiichi plant was “highly unstable”, and that if there was a meltdown the “consequences would be tremendous”.

He said such an event might be very likely indeed. So far, the government has said a meltdown would not lead to a sizeable leak of radioactive materials.Mr Goto said the reactors at the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear plant were suffering pressure build-ups way beyond that for which they were designed. There was a severe risk of an explosion, with radioactive material being strewn over a very wide area – beyond the 20km evacuation zone set up by the authorities – he added.

Mr Goto calculated that because Reactor No 3 at Fukushima-Daiichi – where pressure is rising and there is a risk of an explosion – used a type of fuel known as Mox, a mixture of p lutonium oxide and uranium oxide, the radioactive fallout from any meltdown might be twice as bad.He described the worst-case scenario: “It is difficult to say, but that would be a core meltdown. If the rods fall and mix with water, the result would be an explosion of solid material like a volcano spreading radioactive material.

Steam or a hydrogen explosion caused by the mix would spread radioactive waste more than 50km. Also, this would be multiplied. There are many reactors in the area so there would be many Chernobyls.”He accused the government of deliberately withholding vital information that would allow outside experts help solve the problems. “For example, there has not been enough information about the hydrogen being vented. We don’t know how much was vented and how radioactive it was.”

He also described the use of sea water to cool the cores of the reactors at Fukushima-Daiichi as highly unusual and dangerous.Watch BBC live coverage.

Was The Magnitude 8.9 Earthquake In Japan A Sign That The Ring Of Fire Is Coming To Life?

March 12, 2011 1 comment

If you have never heard of the “Ring of Fire”, now would be a great time to start learning about it. Sadly, we will probably be hearing a whole lot more about it in the months to come.

The following is how Wikipedia defines the “Ring of Fire”…. The Pacific Ring of Fire or sometimes just the Ring of Fire is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. In a 40,000 km 25,000 mi horseshoe shape, it is associated with a nearly continuous series of oceanic trenches, volcanic arcs, and volcanic belts and/or plate movements.Approximately 90 percent of the earthquakes in the world occur along the Ring of Fire. About 75 percent of the world’s volcanoes lie along the Ring of Fire.Do you remember the December 26, 2004 Indonesian tsunami? That happened along the Ring of Fire.

Also, the 8.8 earthquake that struck central Chile last February was on the Ring of Fire as well. But this earthquake in Japan was the most dramatic event that we have had along the Ring of Fire in ages….So is there evidence that the rest of the Ring of Fire is coming to life?

Well, consider the following facts….

Sealed With a Kiss

by Mike (in Tokyo) Rogers

Recently by Mike (in Tokyo) Rogers: Introducing the World’s Next Rock Superstar

What does modern North Korea, 1600 ~ 1853 Imperial Japan and the USA have in common? Those government’s try to support failing systems by cutting their people off from the foreign influence. It’s called, in Japanese, Sakoku. Sakoku means something like isolation from the outside.

In North Korea, if they catch you trying to escape, they execute you. Imperial Japan did the same thing. How much longer until the USA tries this? Laugh now but the situation there is getting more absurd by the minute.

People from the outside of the USA can’t send you regular mail in many cases anymore.

Americans have lost their freedoms and their country. How much longer will they tolerate what has happened to them? How much farther will they allow their government to invade on their privacy in order to give them “security”?

Considering all the recent uproar about police brutality to TSA groping, I wonder, how many more of these mini cancers will be needed to accumulate before the entire system collapses?

Now, unbeknownst to most Americans, I’m sure, people outside of the USA can no longer mail you packages if that package weighs more than 1 pound (453 grams). That’s the total weight including packaging. One pound is not very heavy.

My seven-year-old son just received a beautiful electronic building set for his birthday from a girl who is his seven-year-old friend in Arizona. My son loves it. With that set, you can build all sorts of electrical projects; lights, on-off switches, fans, you-name-it. The set is high quality. That, and the book she sent him, was easily over one pound.

Too bad he is unable to repay the favor.

Of course, we try to teach our son manners and kindness; if you wish to receive mail, you write mail. If you get a present, you must write back thanks. To receive, you must give.

In this case, Christmas is coming up and so he felt it was best to give a present back to his friend who sent the birthday present. Quite understandable and I agree.

Since my son is only seven and has no job, it is up to dad and mom to finance such operations as buying gifts and we are happy to do so when the occasion seems right. I took my son shopping and he chose some Hello Kitty items and a book for his seven-year-old girlfriend.

We wrapped the packages and took them to the post office to send to the USA this morning. Alas, while at the post office, we were told that the US Department of Homeland Security has stated that there can be no more mailing of packages that weigh over 1 pound unless we can provide the Social Security number of the recipient.

Bravo! Homeland Security! I am so pleased to see you on the front line of America’s safety! One can never be too careful you know.

Always be proactive to make sure kids don’t run, jump and have fun as they might hurt themselves… And never, but never, go into the swimming pool until you’ve learned to swim… So I applaud your caution.

But, darn it if I don’t have a few simple questions:

In what manner shall I inquire to this little seven-year-old girl’s father about this young ladies’ Social Security number? If the father asks, “Why?” How shall I explain that we (Homeland Security and I) are working together to protect her freedom by invading her privacy? And from whom are we protecting her? Are we protecting her from an over-weight Hello Kitty?

Also, I’m not sure, but I do think something like a Social Security number like this is private information, is it not? Aren’t people running around these days involved in identity thefts that are sniffing for that sort of information?

How does making an arbitrary limit of one pound stop anyone from sending dangerous materials?

Also, how does providing you with a Social Security number relate to protecting people from terrorists?

Hmmm… I’ve been thinking about this and figure that I must be just too dumb to see…

Oh, and my final question to Homeland Security:

If my seven-year-old sends the envelop to his seven-year-old girlfriend, sealed with a kiss, will that require extra postage or a DNA check?

The aerial photograph does not lie. Glenn Beck‘s Restoring Honor Rally drew just about as many people as any other rally ever held at the Lincoln Memorial.I took the train into town from home in Northern Virginia, packed in like in those Tokyo subway video clips, even though I was late. I marched down to the Memorial from the nearest subway stop at Foggy Bottom, where the D.C. bureaucrats had helpfully disabled the steep escalators from the underground tubes to greet the half a million or more celebrants of liberty on the way in.

From my perspective on the ground, arriving late at about 11:15 the rally started at 10, I could never get close enough to the podium even to see. But I could hear. And that was all I needed. On his radio and TV shows, Beck has emphasized economics, political history, and near libertarian political philosophy. He has previously indicated his personal belief in God. But in this speech, he revealed a vision that encompasses the whole Reagan coalition from 1980.

Beck tutored me once again with his insight that the founders grew up in an America where the evangelist George Whitefield crisscrossed the colonies inspiring a national religious revival, that they probably personally heard or read Whitefield sermons, and that this foundation informed their work in later founding America…
