Silence of the Lambs in America… “As Americans, we are witnessing the systematic dismantling of our country by the incremental erosion of our liberties and rights by methods that are shaking the very foundations upon which this country was founded. In present-day America, we are being bombarded with increasingly dire headlines about the condition of our nation. Common elements among these headlines of domestic disorder and discontent are reports of unbridled government overreach into our lives, from much-publicized gun control laws, warrantless searches and seizures, to the perverse and absurdly shameful degradation of our human dignity at the hands of the TSA and the DHS.
Today, we are facing an assault on our freedoms for which those who lived before us have shed their blood, entrusting us with the gift of an indivisible nation under God. Yes, under God.

I knew that, by and large, TSA agents were a dour, rigid lot with no respect for freedom and human dignity, but until I heard about this latest incident, I didn’t know that they were soulless too.
In July of last year, Indiana resident John Gross was flying out of Orlando International Airport on a return trip to Indiana with his grandfather’s remains in an air tight glass container clearly marked “Human Remains”.

Like it or not, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is an unavoidable presence at American airports, from the full-body scanners and “enhanced” pat-downs to shoes on the conveyor belt and ziplock bags filled with trial-size toothpaste.

The Department of Homeland Security apparently ignored the sequester and decided to order armored vehicles and 1.6 billion bullets. Republicans on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are questioning why Homeland Security has not done more to reduce costs leading up to the sequester deadline March 1.
TSA agents ‘humiliated’ Marine who lost both legs to an IED

Transportation Security Administration officers “humiliated” a Marine who lost both legs to an Improvised Explosive Device by requiring the wheelchair-bound Marine to stand and walk. They also had him remove both his prosthetic legs, according to a letter from Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-California).
In his complaint to TSA Administrator John Pistole, Hunter described the Marine as being “humiliated” by the TSA’s actions, based on accounts of the incident last week in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Anyone boarding an aircraft should feel maybe only a teeny tiny bit safer than if there were no TSA at all.”
An article by this anonymous former screener in the New York Post paints a devastating portrait of an agency that employs incompetents, enforces arbitrary regulations, and engages in what security expert Bruce Schneier calls “security theater”: public actions taken in the name of security that actually do nothing to make people safer.

But let’s stick with the topic of Who Are They Looking For?
TSA is omnipresent. Trains, planes and automobiles. Now railroads and buses. Next it will be dog walkers and model airplanes.
Homeland Security peers through every remote camera and surveillance platform. The federal decision to see and record everything is approaching total coverage. You’re even recorded and surveilled in many national parks.
Who, or what, are they looking for? If Al-Qaeda is now our surrogate shadow-military so the US Department of State can pretend to clean hands, who is all this surveillance for? It looks like Washington has targeted you and me as the mission of surveillance. I mean, if the Al-Qaeda boogey-man is now inside the tent, who is Washington looking for?
In this post, I will not discuss the very strong libertarian philosophical arguments as to why individuals should be allowed to carry guns. Instead, I want to take a look at the practical issue.
Suppose Congress passed legislation that banned all guns. Legislation so strong that it required that all guns be turned in. There are 285 million guns in the United States. I wonder how many of those guns would be turned in.
The most conscientious law abiding citizens might turn them in, but the bad guys won’t. So that means bad guys will have even more of an edge. If they want to rob, they are going to know their upstanding citizen/prospective-victim walking down the street is most likely unarmed.
The TSA is seeking permission from the Office of Management and Budget to conduct “security assessments” on highways as well as at 140 other public transportation hubs, including bus depots and train stations.
The request was buried amidst a deluge of jargon and published in the Federal Register on November 30.
If approved, it would allow the TSA to to “conduct transportation security-related assessments during site visits with security and operating officials of surface transportation entities.”

We’re told Gate Rape saves lives – pure conjecture, since it’s all hypothetical. After all, not one “terrorist” has been caught (much less stopped) as a result of the terroristic tactics of the Blue Shirted Goons. Which is a pretty piss poor record, given they treat everyone as a presumptive terrorist.
You’d think by now they’d have caught at least one actual terrorist.
Ah well. Good enough for government work – right?
But lives have been lost as a result of the terroristic tactics of the Blue Shirted Goons. Not conjecture, either. Real people – thousands of them – dead because of the TSA.
Dead – because they chose to drive rather than fly. Anything – rather than Submission Training and Gate Rape. Even if it means an 18 hour trip vs. a three hour flight.
According to data compiled by Cornell University researchers, the ugsomeness of dealing with the TSA has pushed a goodly number of former air travelers into their cars – and back onto the roads. This, in turn has led to a measurable increase in monthly traffic fatalities – about 242 per month that would otherwise not have occurred. Some quick addition is in order. Let’s be easy on our calculators – and generous to the Blue Goons – and assume the figure is off by more than half. Let’s say it’s only 100 additional deaths per month attributable to TSA Avoidance Syndrome. That’s 1,200 deaths annually. Times four equals 4,800. In less than four years, then, TSA has managed to get more Americans killed than Osama bin Laden.
Once upon a time, the open highways of America were one of our greatest symbols of liberty and freedom.
Anyone could hop in a car and set off for a new adventure at any time and even our music encouraged us to “get our kicks on route 66″. But today everything has changed.
Now the highways of America are being steadily transformed into a high tech prison grid. All over the country, thousands upon thousands of surveillance cameras watch our highways and automated license plate readers are actually being used to track vehicle movements in some of our largest cities.
Many state and local governments have come to view our highways as money machines and our control freak politicians have established a vast network of toll booths, red light cameras and speed traps to keep cash endlessly pouring in.
If all of that wasn’t enough, TSA“VIPR teams” are now hitting the interstates and conducting thousands of “unannounced security screenings” each year.
Driving on the highways of America used to be a great joy, but now “Big Brother” is rapidly sucking all of the fun out of it. Eventually, it may get to the point where Americans simply dread having to go out on the highway.
A Catholic priest who was defrocked for allegedly sexually abusing young girls was hired by the Transportation Security Administration before his background check was complete and has worked at Philadelphia International Airport for the last 10 years.
(Infowars) The TSA’s bizarre new policy where it orders travelers who have already passed security to “freeze” on command has been caught on camera, with the clip illustrating once more how the federal agency has implemented a series of ludicrous policies that seemingly have no other purpose than to act as an obedience test for the traveling public.

The simple answer is – because they can’t.
Cloverism is a one-way street.
Libertarians, anarchists and others who hew to the philosophy of live – and let live – aren’t the least bit interested in controlling other people. It does not occur to them. In fact, it goes against their nature. It’s an affront to their very core because, after all, if you wish to be left in peace you must also wish that others be left in peace, too. And more, you must accept this as just – as the right and proper order of things. The liberty of others must be as sacred to you as your own liberty – and require a defense (when necessary) every bit as vigorous.
Federal agency denies accounts will be used to monitor public
The Transportation Security Administration has launched a staggering eighteen new Twitter accounts as part of a PRdrive presumably in response to the overwhelming amount of negative publicity the federal agency receives on a routine basis.

On departing the RNC in Tampa yesterday, Ron Paul, his wife and grand-daughter were subjected to harassment by the TSA at a small airport in Clearwater, Florida.
TSA Harasses Ron Paul and His Wife in Florida ETHICS popupEight TSA goons told the Paul entourage they would need to be screened before they would be allowed to leave because Mitt Romney might be nearby.
For some time we have been warning that the TSA is systematically moving beyond the nation’s airports and conducting operations on the streets of America.
The pieces come together. Within the last week I have read:
1) New software, associated with Google, will recognize customers in stores so as to offer them discounts; having your photos uploaded to allow this service will (for now) be voluntary.
2) A new surveillance system in New York will store footage from cameras in, for example, the subway, so that when an unattended package is discovered, the police can look back in time to see who left it.
3) TSA is perfecting a laser that will allow detection on travelers of trace amounts of drugs, explosives, and doubtless a wide variety of other things.
4) The government is moving toward mandating black boxes on cars to record information thought to be useful in ascribing blame in crashes.

A jury took just 20 minutes to deliver the verdict which stemmed from an incident earlier this year which took place at at Southwest Florida International Airport.
Traveling to her brother’s funeral in Cleveland, Ohio on April 20, Price, a former TSA screener, became infuriated at receiving a pat down, which included touching her breasts and genitals, a violation of the protocols she herself had been trained to carry out.
The TSA has failed to respond to the now confirmed fact that the federal agency has introduced a bizarre new policy in which travelers are ordered to “freeze” on command by TSA screeners while passing through security, a policy described as “obedience training” by critics.
On the Friday, July 6 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex covers the latest police state antics by the Transportation Security Administration, including testing drinks and an insane policy that will require travelers to “freeze” upon command, a control freak plan once again revealing that the nation’s airports have indeed become Gestapo zones where the Fourth Amendment is dead and mean-spirited sadists rule.

Bizarre power trip behavior of federal agency reaches new level of craziness
If you thought the bizarre power trip behavior of the TSA couldn’t get any crazier – think again. According to a friend of political commentator Lew Rockwell, the federal agency is now ordering travelers passing through security to “freeze” on command.
Agency claims it is attempting to be “unpredictable”
TSA Explains Bizarre New Policy Of Testing Drinks Purchased In Airports airport water
The TSA has attempted to explain away a bizarre expansion of its powers inside airports as part of a move to employ “unpredictable measure(s)” to snare would be criminals and terrorists.
In a bizarre and insufficiently explained expansion of the TSA’s power, the federal agency is now demanding the right to test drinks purchased by passengers after they have already passed through airport security.
The Obama administration’s hatred for the Second Amendment has reached new heights. After nearly a decade of safe operation, the White Houseis looking to reduce the number of pilots who provide an extra layer of security against airborne terror by packing a pistol in the cockpit.
This plan shouldn’t fly.
The engineer who garnered global press attention by proving the TSA’s fleet of body scanners were completely useless is causing the federal agency more embarrassment – by highlighting the fact that the TSA argues that it can lie to the public for “security” reasons.

In another stupendous incident of comical over-reaction, the TSA ordered the evacuation of two airport terminals in Minneapolis after a water purification device was found in a woman’s luggage.
TSA agents have once again been accused of conducting a strip-search on an elderly traveler after airport screeners carried out an “obscene” pat down on a 73-year-old grandmother during which they touched her breasts.
Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn has released a report documenting how the TSA is hiring “pedophiles and child pornographers” to conduct pat downs.

“This report details highly disturbing cases where pedophiles and child pornographers wearing federal law enforcement uniforms are not only patting down unsuspecting travelers, but in many cases stealing valuables from their bags. Enough is enough. It’s time for Congress to step in and demand accountability from Administrator Pistole,” Blackburn told NewsChannel5.
The report (PDF) contains 50 examples of “the TSA’s most dangerous officers,” listing innumerable examples of TSA agents caught engaged in criminal behavior, from assault, to theft, to child pornography, to molesting children, in cases documented from 2005 onwards.
Had a rare video surfaced in which a black toddler was being brutalized by agents of the Transportation Security Administration, President Barack Obama would have enough solidarity, and some to spare. “If I had a son,” he’d say, “he’d look like the boy whose breeches were breached by adults who should know better.”
I don’t wish the homegrown terrorists of the TSA to become equal-opportunity offenders; I want Congress to call off these attack dogs, now.
Still, I am unconvinced that when they travel, black women, tots and geriatrics are subjected to the same invasive searches as are whites.
My own experience this month was uneventful. I was spared the rogering I’ve endured in the past, thanks, I believe, to the advice of WND’s commentary editor: “Wear loose clothing.” A young TSA agent waved me by.
I did see a tall and handsome TSA worker working-over a little old man (aged 80, perhaps). The agent was black; his victim Caucasian. It looked as though the former was examining the hunched old man’s colostomy bag. It took the agent forever. He appeared to be enjoying himself.

Homeland Security in the Land of the Free
by Sartre Batr
The horror stories about the Transportation Security Administration are indisputable. In the post 911 environment, civil liberties routinely ignored or eliminated, become a mere memory in a country that once prided itself as the beacon of freedom for the entire world. The TSA is part of the Department of Homeland Security. FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is also an agency of DHS. The public relation spin for the purpose of such authorities is to protect citizens and guard the nation. The reality is that DHS bureaus have the same mission, keep the government safe from potential real or imaginary threats. Interpret threats to mean anyone who opposes the establishment regime, now known as, the military-industrial-financial-security complex.
Despite the fact that the TSA attracts more bad publicity than any other federal agency in existence for its routine harassment of the traveling public and its penchant for hiring criminals, Congressman Mike Rogers has called for the TSA to get even “tougher” in the name of preventing the next terrorist attack.
Congressman Calls For Tougher TSA
“TSA likes to talk about their successes and I’m proud of their successes — we haven’t had another successful attack in 10 years. The problem is, we have only have to miss one and it’s a disaster,” Rogers (R-Ala.) said on CNN’s “Starting Point.” “We want TSA to become smarter, leaner and tougher.”
It’s somewhat difficult to grasp precisely how the TSA should heed Rogers’ call to get “tougher” with people traveling through airports and other transportation hubs which are now festooned with TSA agents.
