War Is a Racket by Major General Smedley Butler, USMC…
War is a racket. It always has been
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small “inside” group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.
In the World War [I] a mere handful garnered the profits of the conflict. At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War. That many admitted their huge blood gains in their income tax returns. How many other war millionaires falsified their tax returns no one knows.

Can the Commander-in-Chief be procecurted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ)? If so, there is clearly appropriate charge that should be administered which is a common thread among Obama’s “multi-gates”. The charge is Dereliction of Duty.
Starting with Benghazi 9-11, the Commander-in-Chief could not be bothered with convening his senior staff to manage the response to the first attack on an American embassy in decades. He needed rest so he could pursue fund-raising the next day. With the bodies of our Ambassador and three other brave Americans still warm, he headed to Las Vegas.

Napolitano on IRS Scandal: ’1st Amendment Was Written to Prevent This’… “”The only remedy is political: kick them and their bosses out of office.”" | Fox News Insider
Judge Andrew Napolitano weighed in this morning on Fox and Friends on the scandal involving the IRS‘s targeting of conservative political groups, like the Tea Party.
The IRS admitted last week after years of pressure from conservative watchdog groups that it had in fact been singling out right-wing organizations for extra scrutiny of their applications for tax-exempt status.
The judge said the IRS’s actions appear to be a clear violation of the First Amendment.

Are you a real man (or woman)? Do you have “grit”?
Compare yourself to the man on the $20 bill: Andrew Jackson, our seventh president.

During the Revolutionary War, Jackson volunteered to fight. He was just 13 years old at the time. The British captured him and made him a servant for British officers. When one ordered Jackson to clean his boots, Jackson refused, and the officer slashed Jackson’s hand with a sword. When Jackson became president, he showed off the scar.

The government lied to us.
The government targeted its political opponents and people who taught about the Constitution.
The government secretly scoured the phone records of America’s biggest news agency.
Is that the change you were hoping for?
Is that the country you want to live in?
Without regard to party or philosophy, this is not acceptable. Put more pointedly, this is not America.

So American’s should be increasingly worried that such incidents, manufactured or not, are getting more frequent and closer to home, because if the way Boston was handled is the blueprint for the introduction of a more permanent state of martial law to go along with our apparent state(s) of perpetual financial repression and bureaucracy emboldening, the evidence is clear – we are all in a great deal of trouble.
Just wait for the banks and financial institutions to start failing to see your life savings confiscated by a bunch of corrupt bureaucrats to keep their pensions coming in. Then, like depicted in Animal Farm, it will be too late, because the pigs will unleash their dogs on you if trouble erupts. That’s what the ‘big show’ in Boston was all about; showing you who is boss. So again, one does wonder how a couple of deeply misguided boys were able to both concoct and execute such an elaborate plan with all those special opps types present supposedly watching for just that kind of thing. It makes you wonder.

The Senate recently approved legislation that would allow states to require out-of-state businesses to collect and remit sales tax. The argument in favor of this legislation is “fairness” to brick and mortar retailers, who must collect sales tax in the states in which they are physically present.
Advocates of the Marketplace Fairness Act like to conjure the image of shadowy Internet businesses competing unfairly with the little Mom-and-Pop store on the street corner. The truth is, however, that these Internet businesses are far more likely to compete with entities such as Wal-Mart and Best Buy, all of which have their own websites but will not set their online prices so as to undercut in-store sales.
Ooops… Hot mic reveals lawmakers intent to confiscate guns
By Doug Hagmann Tuesday, May 14, 2013
Every American gun owner, regardless of the state in which you live, is presently or will be the target of gun confiscation. A state-by-state framework of confiscation is being erected in front of us all to strip us of our rights under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Proof of this nefarious intent of disarming citizens was serendipitously caught by a “hot” microphone at the conclusion of the May 9, 2013 meeting of the New Jersey State Legislature.

Kevin Drum outlines what I take to be the emerging case for the defense of the IRS agents who applied special scrutiny to tax-exemption applications from Tea Party groups:
Roughly speaking, what seems to have happened is that three years ago the IRS was facing an explosion of newly formed 501(c)4 groups claiming tax exempt status, something that’s legal only for groups that are primarily engaged in promoting education or social welfare, not electioneering. So some folks in the Cincinnati office tried to come up with a quick filter to flag groups that deserved extra scrutiny.
But what should that flag be? Well, three years ago the explosion happened to be among tea party groups, so they began searching their database “for applications with ‘Tea Party,’ ‘Patriots,’ or ’9/12′ in the organization’s name as well as other ‘political sounding’ names.” This was dumb, and when senior leaders found out about it, they put a quick stop to it . . .

A few days ago I realized that we who are participating on the Agenda 21 thread have amassed an impressive amount of data and links which are quite important for the educating of anyone who is wondering what “Agenda 21” is all about.
There is absolutely no question in the minds of any of our participants at this stage that “Agenda 21” is real, and is NOT a tin-foil hat conspiracy. There are quite a number of people on this forum who were way ahead of us, and have been quite patient with us while some (like myself) have played catch-up.
