The soul-searching became a revolution in thinking about the relationship of government to individuals. That thinking led to casting off a king and writing a Constitution.
What offended the colonists when the soldiers came legally knocking was the violation of their natural right to privacy, their right to be left alone. We all have the need and right to be left alone.
We all know that we function more fully as human beings when no authority figure monitors us or compels us to ask for a permission slip. This right comes from within us, not from the government.

A number of Sheriffs around the country have pledged to abide by the Second Amendment and not enforce laws that they believe violate the Constitution.

Sixty-seven sheriffs in Florida signed one of those pledges declaring that they would uphold the Second Amendment and protect people’s’ right to keep and bear arms.
One of those signatories, Sheriff Nicholas Finch, was arrested by Governor Rick Scott in Florida for actions he took in a case in early March in which Finch made his stand for the Second Amendment.

The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, quoted in full above, was written to guarantee what the Framers called “the right to be let alone,” and what we have come to call “the right to privacy.”
The Supreme Court has ruled consistently and repeatedly that its contemporary purposes are to prevent dragnets and fishing expeditions, lest the rights of the innocent be assaulted along with those of the guilty.

Had Congressman Paul been elected President in 2008, the country would be four years into the greatest economic, political, and, yes, spiritual recovery in the history of America.

You have probably heard about or seen the movie “Lincoln” which was produced and Directed by famed film Director Steven Spielberg in 2012. The movie has been called superb and did have an excellent cast that included veteran actors Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Field.
Hollywood has produced movies about Abraham Lincoln, some good, some bad and others forgettable like “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” but I do not remember any made about the life and times of Jefferson Davis. Polls reflect the Southern people’s equal admiration for Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln but….
During these “political correct” times Southerners are often depicted on TV and in the movies as backward and dumb. The truth is that the South is the birth place of many intelligent, well-spoken and patriotic people like that of Jefferson Davis who was a great orator and there was standing room only on the floors of the United States Senate when he delivered his February 9, 1861 resignation speech as Mississippi Senator.

Thomas Jefferson described our present condition in his “Notes on the State of Virginia:”“An elective despotism emphasis added was not the government we fought for; but one which should not only be founded on free principles, but in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among several bodies of magistracy, as that no one could transcend their legal limits, without being effectually checked and restrained by the others.”

We need a formal national investigation to expose the direction in which our presidents have been taking us. Our country and our people are being forced to “change” into something which is taking them away from their rightful constitutional heritage. Such an investigation should not be conducted by government officials. We need respectable and trustworthy citizens to conduct it, so that we may avoid mis-management.
If anybody has any ideas, along these lines, please reply with your suggestions on how best to go about it. You will find attached a cavalcade of presidents showing destruction of our constitutional rights and our American heritage, are being destroyed by those who hold the president’s chair. One thing for sure, we are going in the wrong direction if we concede to a Small Arms Treaty!
The problem is how do we find people who are truly qualified to become members of such a panel of constitutionally guided persons, those who will not distort the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, nor deny the proper solution to our dilemma? Rand Paul is the first person I can think of. Who else can you suggest?

Police work is often lionized by jurists and scholars who claim to employ “textualist” and “originalist” methods of constitutional interpretation. Yet professional police were unknown to the United States in 1789, and first appeared in America almost a half-century after the Constitution’s ratification.
The Framers contemplated law enforcement as the duty of mostly private citizens, along with a few constables and sheriffs who could be called upon when necessary. This article marshals extensive historical and legal evidence to show that modern policing is in many ways inconsistent with the original intent of America’s founding documents.
The author argues that the growth of modern policing has substantially empowered the state in a way the Framers would regard as abhorrent to their foremost principles.

It has been repeatedly reported on some of our websites that President Barack Hussein Obama is guilty of multiple accounts of treason against the people and Constitution of the United States.
He has not been charged with any of his many crimes because he controls the US Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice (Holder is just as guilty of treason as is Obama). The rest of Congress seems too spineless or fearful to say or do anything about it.
But let someone else try to stand up against Obama’s crime syndicate and he’s the first one to start hollering treason.

Kansas signed the Second Amendment Protection Act (SB 102) into law last month.
The bill protects gun owners from from new federal gun control laws and would actually make it illegal to enforce those laws within the state of Kansas.
Eric Holder threatened Kansas last week calling the new state law unconstitutional.
In response Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, fired back.

It used to be that Americans mostly agreed that in order to attain citizenship, immigrants had to not only come to this country legally but also demonstrate, after training and study in the American system, that they believed in the unique United States Constitution and embraced what it means to be an American.
Though that still occurs in the naturalization process, we seem to have abandoned it altogether in connection with the immigration debate.

The fifty-state union is over. Nothing remains but a criminal mafia pretending to hold office, stealing every last aspect of wealth they can identify in order to accomplish three things: 1) make payment to the banksters who have paid their bribes; 2) secure payment to themselves to ensure their own comfort; and 3) secure enough means to keep the mafia working (i.e., paying the utilities for the capitol building).
All of these people who claim to hold office in the United States government have violated their respective oaths of office, and have no use for the Constitution that created their offices to begin with. As a consequence, they cannot lawfully hold any office whatsoever; instead, they occupy the space that a lawful person could hold, at the expense of the laws of the nation itself.
Since the Constitution is now irrelevant and there is no organic document giving rise to this enterprise, there is and there can be no federal government. The Constitution is dead, and so is the lawful establishment of governance. What is in play now is brute force, and nothing else.

This article is on the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution. My purpose in posting this exposé is to do my part in calling Americans back to their spawning grounds of liberty. Based on recent trends, I fear that if we don’t frequent our founding principles then Ronald Reagan’s warning could be realized, that “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
