The bill, SB 13-013, which has already been passed by both the Colorado House and Senate, has sparked a firestorm of controversy because of fears that the proposed power could be used by Secret Service agents, acting on behalf of the Obama administration, to arrest sheriffs in Colorado who refuse to enforce unconstitutional federal gun controls.

A bill is heading to Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper’s desk that Republican lawmakers say would give members of the Secret Service broad arrest powers in the state and could provide a framework for federal agents eventually to enforce gun restrictions.
“This is absolutely insane,” Rep. Lori Saine, R-Dacono, said. “In theory if a Secret Service agent is in a county where the sheriff has refused to enforce some of the recent unenforceable gun laws, the agent could arrest an individual if he believes the law has been broken.”

White House Press Secretary Contradicts Obama’s Claims About Cancellation of Tours, ABC Ignores

In an “exclusive” interview with ABC, Barack Obama on Wednesday dodged responsibility for the ending of White House tours, stating, “I have to say this was not a decision that went up to the White House.” The President placed the responsibility on the Secret Service. Later in the day, press secretary Jay Carney contradicted Obama and admitted that the White House cancelled the tours. ABC’s World News on Wednesday and Good Morning America on Thursday didn’t bother to cover updates on Obama’s denial.

“[O]ne more question about the spending cuts,” said the interviewer from ABC News. “You’ve been takin’ a lotta heat for this cancellation of the White House tours. They get– the Secret Service says it’s costs about $74,000 a week. Was canceling them really necessary?”
“You know, I have to say this was not– a decision that went up to the White House. But th– what the Secret Service explained to us was that they’re gonna have to furlough some folks. What furloughs mean is– is that people lose a day of work and a day of pay,” Obama said, in response.
How To Disarm Citizens
The feds’ have plans, lots of goals and plans
by Gordon Duff, Senior Editor–The story is simple, a terrified President Obama had the crack Marine unit from the “8th and I Barracks” disarmed because he feared they would assassinate him while he stood on the dais reviewing the inauguration parade.
The truth is simple, even the police had inert weapons, just as they had in every inauguration in the past, police, all military, everyone but the secret service. We checked, we called, it took five minutes. The press statement from the Secret Service is copied below.
Sullivan has overseen the Secret Service since 2006 and was its director during the agency’s high-profile prostitution scandal last year.
The petition has 22,717 signatures and was going to make 25,000.
Now they have changed the threshold to 100,000.
They could feel that heat.
If gun-free zones make people safe, then why don’t we declare the immediate vicinity of the President and Vice-President to be gun-free zones and send the Secret Service home? Or are gun-free zones good enough for our kids, but not good enough for our overlords? It is the height of arrogance and hypocrisy for politicians to surround themselves with armed guards while insisting that our children be soft targets.
Obama signs bill giving himself lifetime Secret Service protection

White House press secretary Jay Carney said Obama signed the “Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012” on Thursday. The law affects Obama, former President George W. Bush and future presidents, who under current law would only be protected for 10 years after leaving office.
Some interesting news has broken in the wake of the latest push for gun control by President Obama and Senate Democrats: Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used as a matter of fact.
If you dismiss this by saying, “Of course they have armed guards — they get Secret Service protection,” then you’ve missed the larger point.
The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC’s David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren’t used (and weren’t even allowed).
Shame on President Obama for seeking more gun control and for trying to prevent the parents of other school children from doing what he has clearly done for his own. His children sit under the protection guns afford, while the children of regular Americans are sacrificed.

Michelle Flotus Obama’s obscene White House vacations cost us tax payers a low end estimate of12 million dollars because her 16 documented trips as shown on the latest YouTube video do not include all of our first queen’s trips, only those she took with the girls!
Her over the top spending is coming to light thanks to a GLOBE CELEBRITY MAGAZINE special investigation plus a web video detailing wanton waste of our taxpayer dollars as our economy sinks, and we struggle just to pay monthly bills!
GLOBE is reporting President Obama “blew up at Michelle” in a fierce WH fight over her outrageous spending, especially for her many vacations funded mainly by American taxpayers. Taking a trip to Spain in 2010 with her daughter Sasha and friends and staff, Michelle stayed at a very high end hotel where the “royal villa costs $6,500 a night” according to GLOBE! YouTube reports our first lady flew out on Air Force Two at a cost of $149,000, and a Secret Service tab of $98,000. The entire trip came in at $497,000 with an unreported extra cost for her staff. Just four months later, her trip to Hawaii cost an extra $64,000 because she wanted to take an early flight.

Records show Mr Biden has collected more than $13,000 since April on the cottage in Greenville, a wealthy Wilmington suburb, and is eligible for up to $66,000 (£40,000) before the contract expires in 2013.
He said the proximity of the cottage to the Biden home allowed for extra tight security.
The cottage was lived in by Mr Biden’s mother before she died and then was rent commercially to a tenant for a year. When he moved out, the Secret Service took up the lease after renting other homes nearby.

Did Secret Service officials associated with Vice President Joe Biden thank a baker for refusing to host the vice president at his shop on Wednesday, as local media reported? The U.S. Secret Service says it didn’t happen.
“[O]ur personnel were not involved in making that statement,” U.S. Secret Service spokesman Max Milien told National Review Online’s
Daniel Foster. “Milien said there were agents in the bakery, along with (similarly dressed) local law enforcement, but that USSS was there merely to thank the shop owners for their trouble and apologize for any inconvenience the advance team may have caused them,” National Review added.
…..Not much really needs to be said in this particular column. For decades, Americans have been speculating about what takes place behind the closed doors of the secret meetings of the Bilderberg Group. This weekend, the group is holding its annual meeting at a Virginia Marriott Hotel. Forty-eight American citizens are named by the group as attending that meeting.

This video documents federal agents coming to the home of anti-Obama activist Rudy Davis aka LoneStar1776. There seems to be an aggressive campaign by the Secret Service to learn personal information about political critics of Barack Obama. Listen carefully to the personal questions these agents ask.
If I was advising him, I would recommend not answering these questions. If they come to your home, I recommend not answering. Refer them to a lawyer. In a country which guarantees our free speech, it is chilling to see the US Government sending armed agents to scope out political activists. If Rudy was a leftist, Obama himself would be denouncing this visit.
Over the next several days, more than a hundred of the most powerful people on the planet will attend a secret conference at a hotel in Chantilly, Virgina. Some of the biggest names in politics and business will be there.
The hotel is going to be completely locked down and will be swarmed by hordes of security guards carrying machine guns. This conference is so important that even the U.S. Secret Service is rumored to be involved in providing security. These meetings have been held yearly since 1954, but no record of what goes on at them has ever been officially released to the public and all the attendees are sworn to secrecy. Decisions made at this conference will affect the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet. But the vast majority of Americans will have no idea that the Bilderberg Group is meeting about 20 miles from Washington D.C. this year because the mainstream media in the United States ignores the Bilderberg Group almost entirely year after year. Based on the coverage it gets from the U.S. media, you would think that the Bilderberg Group was a non-event. But if some of the most powerful people on the planet are getting together to discuss our future, don’t you think the mainstream media should be covering it?
Several media outlets have again pulled or edited already-published articles about the activities of President Barack Obama’s daughter, even though the stories appeared to pose no active security risk to the first family.
On Thursday, 14-year-old Malia Obama attended a concert by the British boy band One Direction at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., flanked by Secret Service agents who attempted unsuccessfully to blend in with the crowd of mostly pre-teen girls.
At one point during the concert, the boy bands’ teen heartthrobs sang, “You’re insecure, Dunno what for, You’re turning heads when you walk through the door” — words that managed to take on some meaning for Malia, who looked less than enthused by the presence of multiple middle-aged federal agents at her side.
On Friday, the story was picked up by the liberal website The Huffington Post, which ran the headline, “Malia Obama, One Direction Fan: First Daughter Attends Boy Band Concert with Secret Service in Tow.”
Within hours, the entire post was scrubbed from the site without explanation, and the post’s URL was hastily changed to direct users to the site’s celebrity section.
The next day, news aggregation website Buzzfeed ran a story on the event, accompanied by a picture of Malia in attendance at the concert. The headline was “Malia Obama Goes to the One Direction Concert with the Secret Service,” and the story’s picture showed Malia standing awkwardly in front of a scowling male Secret Service agent, with what appear to be two additional female Secret Service agents standing to her right.

As the NATO summit nears, Chicago law enforcement doubles up on crowd control tactics.
CHICAGO (CBS) – Some stations on the Metra Electric Line and South Shore Line could be shut down during the upcoming NATO summit, and passengers at other stations could face airport-style security screenings, due to the Secret Service security plan that could be released as soon as Friday afternoon.
CBS 2 Chief Correspondent Jay Levine has exclusive details on those security measures, which the Secret Service is expected to officially unveil on Friday, or at the very latest, on Monday. Federal officials have promised the announcement will include a “comprehensive list of street closures and parking restrictions surrounding the NATO summit.”
The Secret Service has been battling with Metra and the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District over the security measures that will be needed on the Electric and South Shore lines, which both run directly under McCormick Place.

TSA mission creep has infected “security arrangements” for the upcoming NATO war council to be held in Chicago beginning May 20.
“Some stations on the Metra Electric Line and South Shore Line could be shut down during the upcoming NATO summit, and passengers at other stations could face airport-style security screenings, due to the Secret Service security plan that could be released as soon as Friday afternoon,” CBS News reported on Thursday.
On Friday or Monday the Secret Service will release information about restrictions to be imposed on Chicagoans and a list of street closures. The feds have “been battling with Metra and the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District over the security measures that will be needed on the Electric and South Shore lines, which both run directly under McCormick Place,” according to CBS.
In mid-April the Chicago Tribune reported that the federal government would not place downtown Chicago on a virtual security lockdown and trains would be allowed to pass under McCormick Place. The latest announcement by the scandal-ridden Secret Service will instead migrate intrusive police state molestation techniques from airports and select bus stations to the Windy City.
As Congressional representatives overwhelming approved the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act in February of this year, few Americans were paying attention.
When President Obama signed the Act into law, he did so in secret, without any of the fanfare that came with his signing of universal health care two years prior – and for good reason. This is one of those laws the government doesn’t want you to know exists until it’s too late to do anything about it.
It was easy to see this coming. When the news about Secret Service agents hooking up with prostitutes in Columbia first broke we were told there were 11 men (some reports had it at 12) being investigated. Immediately we heard six were kicked out leaving; five “still under investigation.”

Last night, President Obama appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s unwatchable late-night show – a show most notable for Fallon’s almost-incredible inability to keep a straight face while telling the world’s least funny jokes – to discuss the Secret Service prostitution scandal. “The Secret Service, these guys are incredible,” Obama said. “They protect me, they protect our girls. A couple of knuckleheads shouldn’t detract from what they do. What they were thinking, I don’t know. That’s why they’re not there anymore.” But the Secret Service agents in question don’t need Obama’s help in their defense.

CBS News correspondent Whit Johnson reports that a law enforcement official told him a 13th agent is under investigation for bringing a prostitute back to the swanky Hilton Hotel where President Barack Obama was staying.
The ranking member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee said on CNN this morning that there’s extra concern for President Obama’s safety seeing as how he’s around people with “guns strapped on their legs.”
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) spoke with Candy Crowley on “State of the Union” about the Secret Service scandal. Cummings and Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) sent a letter to Secret Service director Mark J. Sullivan last week asking for a full accounting of the events and a history past disciplinary trouble with agents’ behavior abroad.
“It bothers me a lot because I know that there are a lot of folks who are perhaps looking for opportunities to do harm to the president or others that the Secret Service, you know, guard,” Cummings said. “And you never know what they think that is a moment of weakness.”
What can we learn from allegations against a half-dozen supervisors in the Government Services Administration for wasting, and perhaps stealing, taxpayer dollars on foolishness in Las Vegas, and against a dozen Secret Service agents for dangerously procuring prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia, while there to prepare for a visit by the president?
If the allegations are true — and they seem to be — the behavior of these government workers reflects a view of government hardly consistent with the idea of limited government and public trust. The United States is the only nation in history founded on the principle that people voluntarily gave up some personal freedom in order to form a central government of limited powers and for limited purposes. Those purposes, according to the Constitution, consist primarily of the maintenance of personal freedom, natural rights and property rights, civil liberties and commercial liberties.

Ted Nugent’s comments during an NRA convention.
“Not because he doesn’t like Barack Obama but because he got up in front of a group of people and insinuated he would attempt to assassinate Obama if he’s re-elected. Or let’s put it this way: A man with a truckload of guns has threatened the life of our president while the country’s at war,” he writes.
On Wednesday, Nugent said he did not call for violence against Obama at an NRA convention held earlier this week. “Every reference I made, whether it’s a shot across the bow or targeting the enemy, it always ended the sentence with ‘in November at the voter booth,’” Nugent told Glenn Beck.
The Daily News can reveal the first photo of the 24-year-old Colombian call girl whose encounter with a cheapskate Secret Service agent ignited the agency’s worst sex scandal. One of the agents tried to brush off his girl, the single mother of a 9-year-old son known as Tania, the next morning with only $28 in cab fare. She caused a ruckus, demanding her full payment, so cops got involved and word reached the US Embassy.
(Gunny G: Dog Stories) Speaking of dogs, and the USSS, anyone remember “Buddy”, the late, unlamented, First Dog?

As more details about the Secret Service escapades in Columbia come to light, and as the campaigns trade insults about how the candidates treat dogs…”Your guy abused his pet”..”yeah, but your guy ate his..” it’s time to turn back the clock, and remember when Democrats, their dogs, and the USSS first collided in the media.
“It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in. If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him.”
Nugent had said in his address that “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
“If you can’t go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don’t even know what you’re made of,” he said at the NRA.
Nugent’s words got even more descriptive at times, calling Obama a criminal and saying his administration is “wiping its a– with the Constitution.”
He also flayed four Supreme Court justices for what he says is their stance against Americans’ “right to keep and bear arms.”
He ended with a call to politically decapitate Democrats in November: “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?”
The Secret Service sure knows how to party.

“Obama turned his back and left,” MSNBC reported.
RUSH: Let’s cut to the chase, and let’s get to the real question in the Secret Service hooker scandal in Colombia. What I want to know is, did those Colombian hookers have to pay for their own contraception, or are they covered under Obama‘s health care plan as it extends to the Secret Service agents? That’s the question. That’s what everybody ought to be asking.
With the War on Women being waged at full strength, how could that question not come up? How could that question not be asked? It wasn’t asked by anybody on the Sunday shows. It hasn’t been brought up by Hilary Rosen. It hasn’t been brought up by Anita Dunn. I don’t think’s Obama brought it up, but is it not the most important question? Who pays for the hookers’ contraception?
So what actually happened down there in Cartagena, Columbia in the week prior to President Obama’s arrival, to cause an entire contingent of Secret Service personnel, twelve Secret Service agents who were members of his advance personal security team, to be removed from their assignments and summarily returned home for disciplinary action?
With a reported one third of the currency in circulation being counterfeit at the time, the Secret Service was created by President Abraham Lincoln on April 14, 1865 (five days after Lee’s surrender at Appomattox), and commissioned on July 5, 1865, in Washington, D.C. as the “Secret Service Division” of the Department of the Treasury with the mission of suppressing counterfeiting.
The legislation creating the agency was on Abraham Lincoln’s desk the night he was assassinated. At the time, the only other federal law enforcement agencies were the United States Park Police, U.S. Post Office Department, Office of Instructions and Mail Depredations, now known as the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the United States Marshals Service.
Cartagena, Columbia (VT) The story, one a child wouldn’t believe, is that our Secret Service and Army advance teams, those that arrange for presidential security, were arrested for failing to pay one or more whores for “services rendered.”
The real deal is very probably this:
The rapidly unfolding scandal has upstaged Obama’s trip to the summit, where he is discussing trade and the economy with 32 other heads of state. Though the agency has said Obama’s security was not compromised, the allegations of misconduct have brought intense scrutiny to an agency that had not had a major lapse since 2009, when two party crashers entered the White House uninvited.
A hotel employee said the agents arrived at the beachfront hotel about a week ago, and claimed they were drinking heavily during their stay.
CARTAGENA, Colombia—The Secret Service is investigating allegations that one or more agents on President Barack Obama’ssecurity detail to Colombia were involved with prostitution, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.
An unspecified number of agents have been sent home and are being replaced by other Secret Service personnel, the agency said in a statement.
