WASHINGTON, D.C., May 20, 2013, (LifeSiteNews.com) – Would the woman most closely associated with the TSA airport stripsearches make a good presidential candidate? The abortion lobbying group EMILY’s List and The Washington Post think so.
This month, EMILY’s List launched an initiative entitled “Madam President” dedicated to electing the first female president.
The group’s president, Stephanie Schriock, said she was not placing all her bets on a Hilary Clinton candidacy.

The IRS routinely obtains information about how we earn a living, what investments we make, what we spend on ourselves and our families, and even what charitable and religious organizations we support.
Starting next year, the IRS will be collecting personally identifiable health insurance information in order to ensure we are complying with Obamacare’s mandates.

“Nullification” laws have been introduced in 37 states that technically make it a felony for law enforcement agents to enforce federal restrictions banning firearms, and a recent Rasmussen poll shows that 38 percent support such state laws.
Nullification laws are a legal device used by states to “nullify” federal laws deemed unconstitutional by that state’s legislature and governor. They stem from a proclamation that Andrew Jackson issued in 1832, but in reality have little if any actual authority in overriding federal law. In fact, under the Supremacy Clause of Article VI, federal law is the “supreme law of the land,” and in a conflict between state and federal law, federal law wins out.

The Hill reports that Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback just signed into law a statute that “bars the federal government from regulating guns and ammunition manufactured and stored within Kansas state lines.”Moreover, the new law makes it a felony for federal authorities to attempt to enforce federal gun control laws, treaties, or rules related to firearms within Kansas state lines. Federal agents would not be arrested but will be prosecuted on “a complaint-and-summons basis.”Naturally, U.S. Attorney general Eric Holder is furious.
Already he has sent a letter to Brownback promising, “The United States will take all appropriate action, including litigation if necessary, to prevent the State of Kansas from interfering with the activities of federal officials enforcing the law.”Holder cites the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, which gives supremacy to federal laws over state laws.
Kansas, however, is citing the Interstate Commerce Clause, “contending that Washington has no right to regulate guns that were made in Kansas and never cross state lines.
“The play Kansas is making is to keep its gun business within the state, which they believe nullifies the federal government’s legal right to regulate.

A march on Washington with loaded rifles
“Libertarian activist and radio host Adam Kokesh is hoping to get 1,000 people to march on Washington on July 4 — armed with loaded rifles. The plan, launched with a Facebook group today, is to gather on the Virginia side of the Potomac, where gun laws are lax, and then march across the bridge with loaded rifles slung over their shoulders into the District, where openly carrying weapons is generally prohibited.”

Other than two interviews, I have not written a column on the active continuing decline of all liberty in the USA since 12 March. The reason is that it is simultaneously depressing and enraging to view the intense damage that those elected to high office in my country are doing to both the country and its people.

Too many of those who have benefited the most from the United States of America’s Republic are now openly and actively participating in its destruction.
When a country’s leaders are hell-bent on destroying said country, nothing at all—save a real revolution brought on by the people—will ever save it. In fact, just the opposite will be proposed and passed into law with the government-paid talking heads redefining words and dutifully telling the populations that freedom is slavery, wrong actions are really right and good is bad. Note: The creation of a relatively insane and befuddled population is part and parcel towards overthrowing a nation. As one example, the ostensible “leaders” in and of Washington State have decided to rewrite language to remove any mention of “man” or “men” from multiple words (i.e. penmanship is now handwriting, fireman is now fire person, fisherman is now simply fisher etc.).
Articles: Lincoln Immortal?….. “Most students do not know that a score of years is twenty and, therefore, that Lincoln in 1863 references the year 1776 and the Declaration of Independence. And instead…”
…..The typical college student does not know Lincoln. The phrase “Four score and seven years ago” from the Gettysburg Address is that one fine morsel that begets familiarity, but without meaning or significance.
Most students do not know that a score of years is twenty and, therefore, that Lincoln in 1863 references the year 1776 and the Declaration of Independence.
And instead of simply saying, for instance, “Eighty-seven years ago,” Lincoln deliberately chooses to use the Biblical language of Psalm 90, demonstrating that the time since the founding exceeds the allotted lifetime of man. As time separated those of Lincoln’s generation from the founders, so too has time separated our own generation from Lincoln. But now the gulf is much greater.

My children have long been urging me to give them in a short story my experience in the Battle of Gettysburg. I was then a girl of thirteen, living on the Seminary Ridge which today is known to every child who studies the history of the Civil War.
I shall never forget the June afternoon when I stood on the Seminary steps with my parents and other persons to see a Confederate host marching in the Chambersburg Pike. It seemed as if Pandemonium had broken loose. A more ragged and unkempt set of men would be hard to find. Many wore parts of Union soldiers’ suits which, I suppose, had been picked up on the field of battle, or had been discarded by our men. A squad from the main body was sent over to the Seminary to find out whether any Yankee soldiers were concealed there.

The U.S. government is proposing to charge a new fee for every vehicle or pedestrian crossing the U.S.-Canada border — an idea that has prompted fierce objections from New York lawmakers who claim the levy would stifle transboundary commerce and undermine recent efforts to ease the flow of people and goods between the two countries.

The federal government is now petitioning to have these signs removed or Washington state will be denied additional monies for interstate highways. The State of Washington replied, they will secede from the Union rather than be intimidated. These are a matter of free speech paid for by a private citizen.
It seems the Obama government uses intimidation and ignores the first amendment when they want to silence someone.
My “DixieStyle” Rip Van Winkle Dream… “All of a sudden, I found myself economically secure under a limited central government Confederation designed to protect my freedom, wealth and property rather than take it. A strange concept for someone living in the early days of the 21th century where we’ve become accustomed to government as always a threat rather than our defender and protector as was intended by America’s Founding Fathers.”
A couple of weeks ago, I dreamed that I awoke in the year 2030 and discovered that the Confederate States of America had been independent from the Washington empire since 2020. Apparently a little known Southern political movement started in the summer of 1999 had taken the Southern electorate by storm and within 20 years the 16 Southern states of the old Confederacy had voted in state conventions to lawfully secede from a morally, politically, and economically bankrupt Washington empire.
How would you like to wake up one morning and realize that the many financial burdens of Washington had suddenly been lifted from you and your family – forever! No more IRS threatening letters or audits, no federal income tax, limited estate and gift taxes that mean you can pass along your business or family farm to your children. All Social Security and Medicare taxes go into your personal private program you control outside the reach of corrupt politicians.

America’s ruling class appears to believe that its mission is to subjugate and bring to heel those outside the club – which means you and me.
This motley crew – who would never be caught dead jamming to something as déclassé as Mötley Crüe – has always held the rest of the country in contempt. But now that contempt is the basis of policy, and this simply cannot continue.

But I notice that he did his damdest to see that the Constitution provided him veto power over the states–but in that he failed! In fact, it ended up that a Bill of Rghts had to be added to the Constitution in order to get it ratified.
But, apparently, some people never got over their craving for a king, sugar daddy, call it what you will.
Washington was also the first CINC to personally lead a military (militia) in the field against “the folks”–to collect a whiskey tax (to pay off gubmint debt from the war; some things never change. Again, the folks didn’t much go along with that idea.

For a country always at war, the United States is remarkably not interested in taking care of soldiers it has broken in its wars. Having bankrupted the country, Washington sinks every available penny into the two purposes of the military: funneling money into the arms industry, and fueling imperial ambitions, in large part of pasty fern-bar Napoleons at National Review and Commentary.
The Veterans Administration is way back in the chow line. It doesn’t work very well. As best I can tell, nobody cares.
What do I mean, it doesn’t work? Consider a vet blinded or nearly so in some war or other. To use a computer, which has come to be necessary life, he needs screen-reader software, such as JAWS.

It costs roughly a thousand dollars retail. For a blinded vet, most likely of slight education and no resources beyond his VA compensation, this is a lot of money.

In another, it will be completely meaningless.

It used to be that foreign threats were advertised as the main reason to send our young men off to war to defend our country. Amazing though it seems, we used to believe those stories. Many of our fathers and grandfathers died defending that principle.
Now, all that has changed. The threat is no longer some faraway enemy. The main enemy to peace in the world and security at home has become our own government.
Actions speak louder than words. The words our government speaks do not match the actions it takes.
It purchases uncountable rounds of hollow point ammunition and fancy new tanks for local police departments at the same time it clamors about the need to take all guns away from the American people.

This is how the Supreme Court of the United States fits into the temporary government set up by the Northwest Ordinance of July 13, 1787:
The States of the Confederacy call for a Constitutional Convention, which creates an Office of President of the United States of America vested with executive power and an Office of President of the United States, who is required to approve or object to Bills enacted by Congress.

From March 18-28 the United Nations will again meet with an updated draft to try to finalize passage of its Small Arms Treaty. However it doesn’t seem to be a story, despite being less than 24 hours away. Conservative blogs and sites are as guilty as the Mainstream Media. Almost no one is speaking out against a Treaty that has the ability to change America, and the world as we know it, forever.
To give credit where credit is due I will say that the NRA has not dropped this fight. It just seems that most everyone else views it as a non-story. As of this morning I found six total sources reporting the story within the last two days. I consider that unacceptable. Here is a quote from NRA opposes U.N. arms treaty, which was published earlier today in The Washington Post:

WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – A new North Korean propaganda video shows images of an imaginary missile attack on U.S. government buildings in Washington, including the White House and the Capitol building.

The nearly 4-minute video was posted on the YouTube channel of the North Korean government website Uriminzokkiri on Monday. The video shows a montage of clips depicting different weapons, including firing military guns and large missiles at military parades. Just before the three-minute mark of the video, footage is shown of the White House in crosshairs, and an explosion of the dome of the Capitol.
The Congressional Budget Debate Is Just a Sideshow by Ron Paul
Federal spending once again dominated the debate in Washington last week, as House Republicans and Senate Democrats began work on their ten-year budget plans. Contrary to claims, neither party’s budget reduces spending. While the Republican plan increases spending a little less than the Democrat plan, it would still spend $5 trillion in 2023, an almost two trillion dollar increase over this year’s budget.
Ron Paul, member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Of course, these projections of future budgets are meaningless, as a current Congress cannot bind a future one. Therefore, the projected spending for next year is the only part of the budget with any significance. So is there a great gulf between the two parties’ budgets for next year? No.
For fiscal year 2014, the Democrat budget proposes spending $3.7 trillion, while the “radical” Republican budget spends $3.5 trillion!

Obama Killed Chavez | Veterans Today
by Stephen Lendman
Most likely he was either poisoned or infected with cancer causing substances. Four cancer surgeries in 18 months raise suspicions.Chavez knew he was marked for death. He said so numerous times. Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez believes Washington and Israel conspired to kill him.
He called it similar to how Israel murdered Yasser Arafat. Radioactive polonium poisoning killed him. Forensic evidence proved it.On March 12, acting President Nicolas Marudo said a state commission will investigate his death.
“Important scientists from different countries” will be involved.Maduro believes forensic evidence will show Chavez was “injected by imperialist forces.”He “was poisoned by dark forces in order to hit at the Venezuelan people and Latin America,” he stressed.
More information on his cancer will be explained later. It “didn’t correspond with any of the normal behaviors of the illness.”“He received lots of death threats.
Maybe they didn’t manage to it through a direct attempt” on his life.“Everything seems to indicate that they managed to affect his health using the most advanced techniques.”For decades, America experimented with cancer causing substances. Expert technologies exist. Assassination by bullet, bomb, slit throat, or plane crash reflects policy. Why not incurable diseases?William Blum’s done some of the best research on America’s successful and failed political assassinations. On March 12, he headlined
“I Personally Believe That Hugo Chavez Was Murdered By The United States.”He thinks CIA operatives may have been involved. Post-WW II, they targeted over 50 foreign leaders for removal. Some died. Others lived.Fidel Castro survived hundreds of assassination attempts. He knows better than anyone how Washington operates.Chavez replaced him as its number one enemy. He spoke truth to power. He did so more forthrightly and eloquently than anyone. He touched important nerves. He denounced US imperialism.
Revisiting history: Did Jack Ruby predict the America of today? | Veterans Today
I tell you that a whole new form of government is going to take over the country and I know I won’t live to see you another time.”–Jack Ruby Jack Ruby, the man who shot accused assassin of President John F. Kennedy Lee Harvey Oswald, said in his interview with the Warren Commission the investigative team appointed by the federal government to probe the Kennedy assassination on June 7th, 1964:
“Everything pertaining to what’s happening has never come to the surface. The world will never know the true facts of what occurred or my motives. The people that had so much to gain and had such an ulterior motive for putting me in the position I’m in will never let the true facts come above board to the world.
Gentlemen, I want to tell you the truth, but I cannot tell it here. If you want a fair shake out of me you have to take me to Washington. I tell you that a whole new form of government is going to take over the country and I know I won’t live to see you another time.”
Nearly half a century later, these words continue to haunt the United States and continue to raise questions. Were they simply the musings of a grief-stricken raving lunatic, or were they the words of a man ready to blow the whistle that was following orders and not there by happenstance?
