Army Pfc. Bradley Manning, who is accused of providing an enormous stash of classified government documents to WikiLeaks for publication, deserves a Nobel Peace Prize more than President Barack Obama, according to former Texas Rep. Ron Paul.

“While President Obama was starting and expanding unconstitutional wars overseas, Bradley Manning, whose actions have caused exactly zero deaths, was shining light on the truth behind these wars,” the former Republican presidential contender told U.S. News. “It’s clear which individual has done more to promote peace.”

Coup d’état Within The White House… “…the White House is described as a playpen with children running amuck, with little if any adult supervision.”

Larry Summers, part of Obama’s former economic “dream team,” is reported to have said “We’re home alone. There’s no adult in charge.”

In preparation for the propaganda film Zero Dark Thirty, the intelligence community hemorrhaged classified information about the Osama Bin Laden raid to mega-director Kathryn Bigelow, expecting a hagiographic ode to Obama.

But Obama and Hollywood blacklisted the movie for portraying torture as the key to getting Osama Bin Laden. Additionally, Obama was merely given a “cameo,” in which after almost thirty minutes of non-stop torture, including waterboarding, Obama appears on a TV screen in one of his idiotic softball interviews, castigating the use of torture in the previous administration and vociferously stating that he had stamped out the practice in his own administration. Obama is made to look like a fool, and his administration is portrayed as a bunch of paper pushers who could care less about avenging the deaths of thousands of Americans for the events on 9/11.

How convenient for our political overseers: there has been another mass-shooting – this time at a Connecticut grade-school – in which many adults and young children were murdered. Members of the mainstream media, politicians, and other government officials are being turned loose to share their lack of critical thinking with a public conditioned to await their direction.

To paraphrase 15th Century Dutch Philosopher Erasmus’ well-known characterization of women — “technology, can’t live with it, can’t live without it.” Ever since the debacle that was the vote counting in Florida a dozen years ago, virtually every jurisdiction in the country has moved away from some form of manual voting machine to embrace the technology of electronic voting (“e-voting” for short).

The power elites don’t like dirty linen being aired, warns Thomas Andrews Drake

If America gets its hands on the WikiLeaks founder, they may go as far as execute him, a known National Security Agency whistleblower Thomas Andrews Drake told RT, adding that in the US, security has become a state religion.

An expert on electronic eavesdropping, Drake sacrificed his career to blow the whistle on perceived wrongdoings within the NSA. He was charged under the Espionage Act, though the charges were dropped only last year.

He told RT that in America’s ‘soft tyranny’, everyone is subject or suspect in terms of surveillance.

Did Democrats hack the 2008 Obama election?

Stratfor, the US-based private intelligence company, says that Senator John McCain’s campaign knew that electoral fraud was going on in 2008 but chose to do nothing. What is going on now as President Obama faces changed circumstances?

Friday, April 20, 2012 By Martin Barillas

According to emails obtained by WikiLeaks, which is led by the embattled Julian Assange, Republican Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign staff allegedly had evidence that Democrats stuffed ballot boxes in Pennsylvania and Ohio on election night. However, the candidate chose not to pursue voter fraud, according to internal emails obtained from the private intelligence and analysis firm, Stratfor.

Stratfor regularly reports on geopolitics, narcotics, security and terrorism, particularly overseas. The company, which was founded by George Friedman, has high-level subscribers including at least one former U.S. Secretary of State, various foreign governments, and intelligence agencies. The U.S. Marines and the Department of Homeland Security are also customers. In recent months, Stratfor was in the news because a still unknown party hacked the Stratfor website and obtained subscribers’ names.

There is an interesting story about the 2008 election coming out of Wikileaks. Memos from Stratfor released by Wikileaks say that widespread voter fraud occurred in Ohio and that “black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly.” The McCain campaign knew about the fraud but feared taking action because of the “possibility of domestic violence” if they challenged the results in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

The memos say campaign staff urged candidate John McCain to act in court:

“Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process.”

One of the Wikileaked memos says: “Sen. McCain chose not to fight.” The reason?

The memo states:

“McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.”

“the state will be able to create a far friendlier environment for controlling the flow of information, Bill Clinton’s proposed ‘Internet Ministry of Truth’” ~The Secret Behind SOPA

January 18, 2012 Leave a comment

Whether the justification is cybersecurity or anti-piracy, the end game remains the ability to seize control over the Internet and shut down websites on a whim.

Indeed, the is merely the act of legally codifying what is already taking place. Lieberman himself was instrumental in having the whistleblower website Wikileaks shut down when Amazon axed Wikileaks from its servers after being pressured to do so by Lieberman’s Senate Homeland Security Committee.

In addition, the Department of Homeland Security has already seized dozens of websites merely for linking to copyrighted material, despite the fact that such material isn’t even hosted on the website itself, a process the Electronic Frontier Foundation has criticized as, “Blunt instruments that cause unacceptable collateral damage to free speech rights.”

The DHS has also seized websites for no ostensible reason, including a popular music blog that was shut down for over a year on charges the DHS now admits were completely false.

While the likes of Wikipedia and Google have commendably protested against SOPA and PIPA, the big ISPs and domain name companies are firmly behind it. Indeed, the global authority over all .com domain names, VeriSign, recently demanded the power to terminate websites deemed “abusive” when ordered to by government without a court order or any kind of oversight whatsoever.

It’s the end of the Internet as we know itPaul Joseph WatsonPrison Planet.comWednesday, January 18, 2012The secret behind SOPA, the so-called anti-piracy bill which is today the target of an unprecedented backlash with Wikileaks and other major websites ‘going dark’ to protest the legislation, has nothing to do with piracy or copyright theft – it’s about the formal effort to mimic Communist China’s system of Internet censorship.

But don’t take our word for it, listen to what Joe Lieberman, co-sponsor of PIPA, SOPA’s sister version in the Senate, said about the purpose of behind the US government’s efforts to control the Internet under the guise of cybersecurity.Lieberman characterized fears that the US government would use such powers to censor political content as “total misinformation,” yet goes on to admit that the purpose behind the agenda is to mimic China’s ability to “disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war,” adding, “we need that here too”.

Of course, Communist China’s “war” is not against foreign terrorists or hackers, it’s targeted against people who dare to use the Internet to express dissent against government atrocities or corruption. China’s system of Internet policing is about crushing freedom of speech and has nothing to do with legitimate security concerns as Lieberman well knows.Having largely failed in his bid to…..

US surveillance on blogs and websites

By Julio Severo
According to Reuters, the US government begun, in June 2010, to monitor websites, blogs and including Facebook and Twitter.
This disturbing news only became headline now, but in the end of July, 2010, just one month after the US surveillance on blogs, WND, the most important conservative website, denounced that my blog was being monitored by the US government.
The Reuters story explains that blogs opposed to Islam have been blacklisted by the US government. The surveillance is being executed especially by the Department of Homeland Security.
There is no information, though, that the US government is monitoring blogs and websites advocating homosexuality and Islam.

LISBON, Portugal — When the Republican presidential candidates tire of bashing each other, perhaps they will start addressing the expansion of radical Islam. Only Rick Santorum raised the issue in last Saturday’s debate in New Hampshire.

Next door in Spain, two new satellite TV stations recently signed on. They won’t be airing “Judge Judy,” but instead are broadcasting Islamic theology and political propaganda.

It was not coincidental that the launch of Islamic TV in Spain coincided with Christmas. One of the early broadcasts featured a story, from Islam’s perspective, on the Virgin Mary and the birth of Jesus. Not surprisingly, it differs significantly from the biblical account with which even secular Americans are familiar.

One channel is called Hispan TV and its program content is produced in Iran. That should be warning enough. One of their shows is called “Debate Abierto,” or “Open Debate.”

The Iranian government sponsors the program, which, according to Soeren Kern, a senior fellow at the Strategic Studies Group in Madrid, “will focus on spreading Shiite Islam” in Spain and Latin America.

Kentucky Soldier Faces Spying Allegations

A 22 year old soldier from Owensboro, Kentucky faces charges of spying. Specialist William Colton Millay is stationed in Alaska.

U.S. Army and FBI investigators arrested Millay last Friday. Army Lieutenant Colonel Bill Coppernoll says Millay’s arrest stems from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Army and FBI. Coppernoll says few details are being released now, but adds that unlike the WikiLeaks case targeting Army analyst Bradley Manning, allegations do “not involve the transfer of data on computer networks.”

His family has hired a defense attorney from Dallas who specializes in defending members of the military charged in crimes.

Globalists Using London Cyberspace Summit to Push for Global Internet Treaty

November 1, 2011 2 comments

For the next two days, leaders from around the globe will collude with tech giants to discuss how to respond to the challenges and opportunities of the Internet. Translation: they’ll be negotiating a global Internet treaty.

It’s reported that officials from 60 countries will join Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Tudou.com (Chinese video sharing site), as well as cyber crime agencies, and computer security firms at the London Conference on Cyberspace.

The London summit is hosted by Foreign Secretary, William Hague, who said the purpose is to “discuss ideas and expected behaviour in cyberspace”.

To which he claims the goal is bring together major players to determine how “collectively, we should respond to the challenges and opportunities which the development of cyberspace presents.”

A few days before the conference, Council on Foreign Relations members Adam Segal and Matthew Waxman wrote that the conference presents those calling for a global Internet treaty with “a step in that direction.”

They also pointed out that NATO allies have already essentially agreed to a treaty; “June 2011, NATO defense ministers agreed to a collective vision of cyber defense, and the United States and Australia recently announced that their mutual defense treaty extends to cyberspace.”

How the US government secretly reads your email

Secret orders forcing Google and Sonic to release a WikiLeaks volunteer’s email reveal the scale of US government snooping. Somewhere, a US government official is reading through a list of those who sent or received an email from Jacob Appelbaum, a 28-year-old computer science researcher at the University of Washington who volunteered for WikiLeaks. …

Appelbaum is a spokesman for Tor, a free internet anonymising software that helps people defend themselves against internet surveillance. He’s spent five years teaching activists around the world how to install and use the service to avoid being monitored by repressive governments. It’s exactly the sort of technology Secretary of State Hilary Clinton praised in her famous “Internet Freedom” speech in January 2010, when she promised US government support for the designers of technology that circumvented blocks or firewalls. Now, Appelbaum finds himself a target of his own government as a result of his friendship with Julian Assange and the fact WikiLeaks used the Tor software.

U.S. Government Obtains Secret Court Order for Email Data of WikiLeaks Volunteer:

The U.S. government obtained a controversial type of secret court order to force Google Inc. and small internet provider Sonic.net Inc. to turn over information from the email accounts of a WikiLeaks volunteer.

Sonic said it fought the government’s order and lost, and was forced to turn over information. Challenging the order was “rather expensive, but we felt it was the right thing to do,” said Sonic’s chief executive, Dane Jasper.

The government’s request included the email addresses of people volunteer Jacob Appelbaum corresponded with over the past two years, but not the full emails, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Both Google and Sonic pressed for the right to inform Appelbaum of the secret court orders, according to people familiar with the investigation. Google declined to comment. Appelbaum, 28, has not been charged with wrongdoing.

Traditional Hackers Now Turning Their Crosshairs on Conservatives

September 28, 2011 Leave a comment

Owners of popular conservative websites have increasing reason to be concerned their sites may be hacked or otherwise physically attacked for political reasons. Traditionally, hackers took an anarchist approach that primarily targeted government websites. Lately, they are assailing politically conservative websites. Many of these newer attacks are coming from hackers associated with Wikileaks. Some libertarian conservatives defend Wikileaks’ business of leaking government documents, unaware that its affiliates are hypocritically trying to silence them. In addition to wreaking technical havoc, hackers have figured out they can use Google’s strict policy against deceptive website tactics to keep conservative websites hidden from the internet for long periods of time.

After Google banned my website, Intellectual Conservative, a few weeks ago due to some political enemies who had “cloaked” it, I decided to look into how prevalent the hacking of conservatives websites has become. Politically targeted hacking is known as “hactivism,” and is really a form of cyberterrorism. Not all attacks upon websites are considered hacking, some are less intrusive such as DDoS (distributed denial-of-service attack), where a website is continually pinged until it is forced to shut down.

A new powerful hacking organization surfaced this summer targeting conservatives in addition to………………….

Wikileaks may have triggered the killing of Osama Bin Laden, it was suggested last night.

For although the CIA has thought since September that he was in hiding in Abbottabad, special forces stormed his fortress only days after the website published new secret documents.

These made reference to named ‘couriers’ carrying Bin Laden’s message to his followers, and also to Abbottabad as a possible Al Qaeda bolthole.

I’ve had a document for a while now that I have neither disclosed, or provided to Wikileaks. But now that the Donald seems on the verge of spilling the beans, I’ve decided it’s time to go public, so I can scoop, or “Trump” him (ha ha…). I can’t know for sure whether this is genuine, but in light of the rest of the history that is slowly being revealed, (e.g., by Stanley Kurtz), these Columbia transcripts that the president has refused to release look quite plausible.

US Army Apologizes for Horrific Photos From Afghanistan by Matthias Gebauer and Hasnain Kazim

Major Public Backlash

At NATO headquarters, there are fears that the coming days could see angry protests in Afghanistan or even potential attacks against NATO units. “The images have an enormous potential here in Afghanistan,” one NATO general told SPIEGEL ONLINE. “Experience shows that it might take a couple of days, but then people’s anger will be vented.”

NATO, under the leadership of the US Army, has been preparing for possible publication of the photos for close to 100 days. In dozens of high-level talks with their Afghan partners, military leaders have sought to pursue the same strategy used by the US diplomatic corps in the case of the sensitive diplomatic cables released late last year by WikiLeaks. They warned those most directly affected and made preparations for the photos’ appearance in the public sphere. This “strategic communication” was aimed at preventing a major public backlash.

The high ranks of those involved in the talks show just how seriously Washington has taken the problem. US Vice President Joe Biden recently spoke about the case with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. The head of all NATO troops in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, likewise met with Karzai.

By apologizing and by promising that those responsible will be prosecuted, the US is hoping to prevent Karzai from making any angry public statements on the case.

“the technological age we now live in, it is NOT designed for your enlightenment, but rather for your enslavement”

March 20, 2011 2 comments

Now it is vital for the reader to understand one of the most fundamental facts about the technological age we now live in, it is NOT designed for your enlightenment, but rather for your enslavement, and as noted by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange this past week when he warned about the Internet, he calls the world’s “greatest spying machine”:

It is not a technology that favours freedom of speech, it is not a technology that favours human rights, rather it is a technology that can be used to set up a totalitarian spying regime, the likes of which we have never seen.” [Note: Since the release of our report “They Are Going To Come For You Why Are You Helping Them?” , we have been astounded by the numbers of Americans who still aren’t aware that their cell phones are in all actuality spying devices being listened into and tracked by their government even when turned off.]Standing between the American people, and the seemingly unstoppable power of their elite classes bent on their destruction, are but a few of us left still shouting warnings to those able, and willing, to listen, but we grow fewer by the day because those we seek to help the most have no idea how much danger they truly are in.

Even worse, with the United States Central Command CENTCOM ready to deploy their “sock puppet”…………………………..

The words certainly deserve an Orwellian name.

The catch-phrase was rolled out the minute the war started, which makes one wonder about its public relations origin.

Who can oppose supporting the troops, at least before we learned from WikiLeaks and Abu Ghraib of the intentional killing of civilians and torturing of whoever happened to be rounded up in the various sweeps?

All for the fun and games of it.“Support the troops” originated in the public relations department of the military/security complex

What “support the troops” really means is to support the profits of the armaments industry and the neoconservative ideology of US world hegemony.

“Support the troops” is a clever PR slogan that causes Americans to turn a blind eye to the brutal exploitation of our soldiers and military families for profit and for an evil ideology.

Our soldiers and military families are paying for the Bush/Cheney/Obama/neocon wars with lives, limbs, post-traumatic stress, suicides, broken marriages, children without fathers, wives without husbands, and parents without sons and daughters.

“Support the troops” is one of the most cruel hoaxes in human history, and yet the vastmajority of the population has fallen for it.

War Is Peace.”

Is Obama embracing torture? State Dept spokesman out of a job after criticizing treatment of Manning

March 14, 2011 Leave a comment

Yes, Obama “lied” about ending torture: It’s bad enough that Obama fired an “American hero” like Crowley for telling the truth about the “bizarre and immoral treatment” of Manning, says Will Bunch at the Philadelphia Daily News.

But the “biggest outrage” is that “Obama’s Pentagon is torturing Bradley Manning” at all. “This isn’t “George W. Bush’s fault or Dick Cheney‘s fault,” but the fault of the guy who vowed to stop torture. That’s “taking presidential hypocrisy to new levels.” “Lies my Obama told me”

Repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell: about Gay rights or politics?

March 13, 2011 Leave a comment

The repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, just foisted on us by the lame duck Democrats and Obama hides the real reason they are determined to make this happen. It’s all about breaking up the military’s traditional Republican voting bloc, and that’s their hidden agenda.

Just think of how un-principled the effort to couch homosexuals sharing next bunk intimacy with heteros becomes when we realize it’s being done to introduce a liberal voting bloc into the traditionally conservative military services which vote their conscience and moral Biblical values.“Allowing homosexuals to openly serve in the military would likely result, for the first time, in heterosexuals being forced to cohabit with those who may view them as a potential sexual object,” says Peter Sprigg, author of an outstanding study of this problem for World Net Daily’s WHISTLEBLOWER MAGAZINE.

He points out the Family Research Council’s study about “military privacy plus the dangers of interjecting sexual tension into a combat zone shows there is already a significant problem of homosexual misconduct.”One Navy veteran who was 17 at the time tells of being molested twice within his first year of service by gay sailors. “I can’t imagine what it will do to our military readiness if they are allowed to serve openly,” he added.

“And what about WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning, now in the brig and facing even more charges for putting our country’s own defense in extreme danger? Manning “endangered lives, national security and international relationships,” says Maj. Gen. Pat Brady…..”Another veteran:.. “Someone should track VA disability claims made by gays who contract AIDS while in service.

This means that money will be spent on them that would otherwise be used to help wounded and others with claims not related to their perverted behavior.”Excerpt Read more at coachisright.com …

THE COVER-UP IN THE OPEN FOR ALL TO SEE?

Richard M. Nixon had served twice as Vice President and President before resigning in 1974 after his role in the Watergate Hotel bugging was revealedMar. 3, 2011 — Justice Lewis Powell ruled: “Such an Grand Jury investigation may be triggered by tips, rumors… or the personal knowledge of the grand jurors.”Mark Levin:

“The possibility of impeachment does not immunize the president from criminal prosecution. He remains, at all times, a citizen of the United States who is answerable to the law.”Rush Limbaugh:

“Obama can’t complain if we go Egypt on him because he said that’s how democracy works, that’s what he said on Friday.

This is the way real democracy works, so he can’t complain if it happens to him, and it will.”On August 9, 1974, President Richard Nixon resigned from the Presidency rather than face impeachment and indictment for his involvement in the Watergate burglary cover-up.

President Nixon’s alleged crimes pale in comparison to the myriad crimes committed by Barack Hussein Obama, but like President Nixon, Obama will be undone not by his crimes but by his incompetent attempt to cover up crimes.

Obama has been implicated in many crimes committed by his regime: Murders and False Imprisonment of Opponents of the BHO regime, TSA Sexual Assaults and Illegal Searches, Election Fraud, Voter Fraud, Identity Theft, Illegal Foreign Campaign Contributions, Aiding and Abetting of Muslim Terrorists, Poisoning of the Gulf of Mexico, Theft of Private Property, Embezzlement of Government funds, WikiLeaks etc.

However, the crime with the clearest proof of Obama’s culpability is his cover-up of his birth document fraud. For over two years, Barack Hussein Obama and Robert Gibbs openly committed fraud.

Obama committed fraud when he had his forged COLB posted on the Internet and falsely alleged that his Long Form Birth Certificate was on file in Hawaii.

By posting Obama’s forged COLB on the World Wide Web, Obama and Gibbs perpetrated a fraud on every citizen in every County in every State in the United States of America……………….

McGovern Bloodied and Arrested at Clinton Speech

February 17, 2011 Leave a comment

As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave her speech at George Washington University yesterday condemning governments that arrest protestors and do not allow free expression, 71-year-old Ray McGovern was grabbed from the audience in plain view of her by police and an unidentified official in plain clothes, brutalized and left bleeding in jail.

She never paused speaking. When Secretary Clinton began her speech, Mr. McGovern remained standing silently in the audience and turned his back.

Mr. McGovern, a veteran Army officer who also worked as a CIA analyst for 27 years, was wearing a Veterans for Peace t-shirt.Blind-sided by security officers who pounced upon him, Mr. McGovern remarked, as he was hauled out the door, “So this is America?” Mr. McGovern is covered with bruises, lacerations and contusions inflicted in the assault.

The Real Tea Party

by Charles Stampul

Recently by Charles Stampul: How Football Explains America

In a move to break American resistance to taxation, British Parliament in 1773 relaxed a tax on exports, allowing a struggling English tea company to send its surplus product to the colonies. The tea would be priced low, but carry a tax payable to Parliament. Sensing a trap, the colonists organized. At Charleston the tea was seized and stored by customs agents. At New York the ship was turned back. At Boston, the seat of American agitation, 340 trunks of tea were thrown into the harbor.

We’re seeing similar protests today. Jury nullification of drug convictions. The launch of Wikileaks to reveal government secrets. And perhaps the closest thing to the Boston Tea Party to date, coordinated resistance to naked body scans and evasive pat downs at airports on November 24, 2010. Standing largely apart from this Tea Party inspired activism, is “the Tea Party movement.”

Young people adopt new and unusual sayings to individuate from parents, schoolteachers and other adults. “Off the hook,” was one such phrase. It was popular several years ago. A year or so later you heard one of the View ladies call something “off the hook.” By this time youths were saying “off the chain.” Responsible, financially secure, community involved, set-in-their-ways adults caught up, forcing young people to drop the phrase altogether. It’s like this for libertarians and the Tea Party………

The Betrayal Of Great Britain

When spies give military secrets to a foreign power, it’s espionage. When an American president does it, betraying an ally to befriend a longtime foe, what do we call it?

According to diplomatic cables obtained by Britain’s Daily Telegraph, mined from the thousands of classified documents released by WikiLeaks, the U.S. government agreed to provide Russia with information on the British nuclear deterrent as part of the deal behind the ratification and signing of the New START treaty.Specifically, the Telegraph reports, the U.S. provided Moscow with the serial numbers of each Trident missile in the British ballistic missile submarine inventory.

The Russians presumably already know how many Tridents the British have but can’t be sure. British policy has been to refuse to confirm the exact size of its relatively tiny arsenal.Last year, British Foreign Secretary William Hague disclosed that Britain had “up to 160″ warheads operational at any one time, but he did not disclose the total number of missiles and warheads in its nuclear inventory.

Duncan Lennox, editor of Jane’s Strategic Weapons Systems, says: “They want to find out whether Britain has more missiles than we say we have, and having the unique identifiers might help them

The State Department denies this, and spokesman P.J. Crowley said via Twitter that the U.S. simply “carried forward requirement to notify Russia about U.S.-UK nuclear cooperation from the 1991 treaty.” So why did we, according to the Telegraph, have to ask Britain in 2009 for permission with detailed and classified information on the British Tridents, permission that was reportedly denied?

How Did This Guy Become a Homeland Security Overlord? The Curious Career of Peter King

by William Norman Grigg

Recently by William Norman Grigg: The Conscience of a Killer

In the person of Congressman Peter King (R-New York), the incoming chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, the abstraction called “hypocrisy” has acquired tangible human form. After spending decades canvassing his fellow Irish-American Catholics to raise money for terrorists in Northern Ireland, King has promised to conduct a wide-ranging investigation of American Muslim congregations and cultural organizations in search of people providing “material support” for Islamic terrorism.

“We have to break through this politically correct nonsense which keeps us from debating and discussing what I think is one of the most vitally important issues in this country,” King insists. “We are under siege by Muslim terrorists and yet there are Muslim leaders in this country who do not cooperate with law enforcement.”

King has also demanded that the WikiLeaks whistleblower organization be designated a terrorist organization. He insists that the group provided “material support” to terrorism by publishing hundreds of thousands of pages’ worth of previously classified documents, many of them describing criminal acts and institutionalized corruption on the part of policy-makers in the U.S. government.  It’s reasonable to suspect that King’s antipathy toward WikiLeaks is inspired, at least in part, by personal concerns.

Among the documents made public by WikiLeaks is one that could be of particular interest to King – a February 2010 CIA “Red Cell Special Memorandum” – an “out-of-the-box” analysis examining “what it would mean for the US to be seen … as an incubator and ‘exporter of terrorism.’” For example: “Some Irish-Americans have long provided financial aid and material support for violent efforts to compel the United Kingdom to relinquish control of Northern Ireland…. The US-based Irish Northern Aid Committee (NORAID), founded in the late 1960s, provided the Provisional Irish Republican Army (PIRA) with money that was frequently used for arms purchases.”

NORAID was designated by the Justice Department as an arm of the IRA more than thirty years ago. King, whose Long Island district has a large and well-organized Irish-American constituency, was one of the group’s most effective fundraisers and one of the IRA’s staunchest supporters.

Letter: What kind of person is President Obama?

December 4, 2010 1 comment

Obama‘s comments on the BP oil spill have been, “I’m not responsible and I’m not in charge.” Then he said, “I’m in charge, but I’m not responsible.” His last statement to a room full of press on May 27 was “I’m in charge and I’m responsible.”Obama has blocked the American people from seeing his college transcripts and his certificate of live birth.

He professes to be a Christian, but yet allows federal monies to provide abortions, declared the whole month of June as gay pride month, but does not defend one day for national prayer in the nation, demands that Israel divide their land, and he is on the record stating that he believes that there are many paths to God.

John 14v6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father but through me.”Democrats have always use the mantra of, ‘Republicans only protect big business.” Well, who has bailed out every big business from the East Coast to the West Coast of America and still hasn’t turned off the Federal Reserve printing presses?

As of this writing America is in debt to China $728 billion, Japan $626B, United Kingdom $158B, Brazil $130B, Russia $117B, Luxemburg $98B, Hong Kong $ 98B and Taiwan $98B. Each American owes to this U.S. National Debt, as of this writing, $44,500. Proverbs 22v7 “the rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the servant slave to the lender.

The New York Times and others broke the news today, based on leaked government documents made public by WikiLeaks, that North Korea has already sold advanced missile technology to Iran, enabling that country to launch long-distance nuclear missiles to targets as far away as Europe.

Consider two things: first, the missiles sold by North Korea to Iran were based on Russian-designed R-27 rockets which were clearly supplied by Russia and converted by the Korean dictatorship into its more deadly BM-25 missiles, which were then delivered to Iran.

This is the new America. The public fearing that they will be placed on a government database of subversives if they dare speak out over being zapped with ionizing radiation, photographed naked and aggressively groped by government agents, all in the name of protecting their liberties. The only way such outright abuse of power will be halted is if the majority of Americans say no.

A government watch list comprised of hundreds of million people is useless anyway. If the American people continue to hold their tongues, this tyranny will quickly expand beyond the airports and into everyday life.

Obama White House pressured Spain to drop Bush torture prosecution, leaked cable shows

December 2, 2010 Leave a comment

The Obama administration went to the mat to defend its predecessors from a torture prosecution in Spain last year, a leaked State Department cable shows. The cable, released by WikiLeaks this week, shows that senior US diplomats teamed with Republican lawmakers — including a former Republican Party chairman — to put pressure on Spanish officials to drop a criminal investigation into the Bush administration’s use of “enhanced interrogation techniques.”

In the spring of 2009, Spanish Judge Balthasar Garzon launched an inquiry into six Bush officials linked to the torture policy. They were then-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales; Cheney adviser David Addington; Pentagon lawyer William Haynes; Pentagon official Douglas Feith; and Jay Bybee and John Yoo from the Office of Legal Counsel.According to Mother Jones‘ David Corn, US officials began to put pressure on Spain almost as soon as the probe was announced. Soon after the request was made, the US embassy in Madrid began tracking the matter. On April 1, embassy officials spoke with chief prosecutor Javier Zaragoza, who indicated that he was not pleased to have been handed this case, but he believed that the complaint appeared to be well-documented and he’d have to pursue it.

Around that time, the acting deputy chief of the US embassy talked to the chief of staff for Spain’s foreign minister and a senior official in the Spanish Ministry of Justice to convey, as the cable says, “that this was a very serious matter for the [US government].” The two Spaniards “expressed their concern at the case but…
