A TWO-PARTY DEATH GRIP
By Pastor Chuck Baldwin
February 15, 2008
It is time to say it: the two major parties hold a death grip on the American people. Instead of representing the people, both the Republican and Democrat parties are bought and paid for by special interest groups and multinational corporations. Neither party pays any attention to the U.S. Constitution but both are largely marching in lockstep toward bigger and bigger government. Both Republicans and Democrats eagerly sacrifice what’s good for the country for what’s good for the party. As they now exist, neither major party deserves the support of patriotic Americans.
The Last Generation Of Aircraft
February 14, 2008: While Israel is eager to get the new U.S. F-35 fighter-bomber, they also see that aircraft as the last manned aircraft they will buy. This is an attitude shared by many aircraft designers, and even many air force commanders. Partly, this attitude comes from the lead Israel has taken in UAV development. Although the U.S. got into this field back in the 1950s, Israeli firms embraced the concept more enthusiastically when they began work in the 1970s. It was the success of Israeli UAVs that finally got U.S. manufacturers to make their designs practical, reliable and attractive to military users. Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan has been revolutionized by the presence of thousands of UAVs, helping everyone from platoon commanders, up to the most senior generals, fight more effectively.
FRACTURING AMERICA: POLITICIANS SERVING US A BOWL OF OUTHOUSE SOUP

A friend of mine, George Sura, in Fort Collins, Colorado said, “Immigration is the most formidable weapon of mass destruction threatening America today. Ironically, invaders have put our country at risk without firing a shot. The White House, the heavies in Congress and the smaller fish in state legislatures do not seem to have the collective intellectual depth or common sense to see what is upon us and how rampant immigration will degrade the lives and opportunities of our progeny. Everyday brings American closer to irreversible chaos.

Vignettes from KS, LA and VA: the media hammered out a “Potomac primary” which may become a “Potomac” region, an expanded Federal District, further fracturing the “several states” that made America. Ron Paul was set at 4% and stayed there as if the counter was stuck. Mr. Obama again pledged a “free” College education for everyone to be paid for partly by serving the State. Ms. Clinton fled to Texas and declared she had found “a new extended family.” TV personalities said “a trap door had opened under her” as the telegenic ‘black’ man scored style points and “momentum” as the rush, always the rush to a future without a future was hurried by the jockeys’ whips. If he’s savvy, Mr. McCain will “reach out” with rhetoric to voters concerned about America.

“No matter what you think about the inerrancy of the Bible you would have to admit that the Bible is almost eerie in warning us what the world would look like in the future. You can’t read Romans 1 without getting the feeling that the Bible is either true or that someone sure had a great perspective on the nature of man. Either way, reading the Bible with an open-mind is an exercise in wonderment.“

Dr. Ron Paul’s contention that the U.S. Department of Education (ED) should be eliminated has raised eyebrows. The networks’ talking heads along with many average citizens simply cannot conceive of how children can be educated without the assistance of the U.S. Department of Education. The idea that we could survive without ED is dismissed as ludicrous.
