America’s Secret ICE Castles

“If you don’t have enough evidence to charge someone criminally but you think he’s illegal, we can make him disappear.” Those chilling words were spoken by James Pendergraph, then executive director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Office of State and Local Coordination, at a conference of police and sheriffs in August 2008. Also present was Amnesty International’s Sarnata Reynolds, who wrote about the incident in the 2009 report “Jailed Without Justice” and said in an interview, “It was almost surreal being there, particularly being someone from an organization that has worked on disappearances for decades in other countries. I couldn’t believe he would say it so boldly, as though it weren’t anything wrong.”

ICE agents regularly impersonate civilians–OSHA inspectors, insurance agents, religious workers–in order to arrest longtime US residents who have no criminal history. Jacqueline Stevens has reported a web-exclusive companion piece on ICE agents’ ruse operations.

Pendergraph knew that ICE could disappear people, because he knew that in addition to the publicly listed field offices and detention sites, ICE is also confining people in 186 unlisted and unmarked subfield offices, many in suburban office parks or commercial spaces revealing no information about their ICE tenants–nary a sign, a marked car or even a US flag. (Presumably there is a flag at the Veterans Affairs Complex in Castle Point, New York, but no one would associate it with the Criminal Alien Program ICE is running out of Building 7.) Designed for confining individuals in transit, with no beds or showers, subfield offices are not subject to ICE Detention Standards. The subfield office network was mentioned in an October report by Dora Schriro, then special adviser to Janet Napolitano, secretary of Homeland Security, but no locations were provided.

Debating the Holocaust

(a review of a review)

Dear Mr. Santomauro,
I just read your intriguing review of Debating the Holocaust: A New Look at Both Sides in one of the many Yahoo! groups I scan for new material. Do you, by chance, have a link to a published version of the review? If we wanted to rerun it, would that be okay?
I have been reading your own revisionist writing for several years now, and must say that I found it outlandish at first. Since exploring revisionists ideas myself — with the help of my friend, Dr. Fredrick Toben — I have become open-minded to your contention that the Holocaust has either been exaggerated or simply contrived (as Allied political and military leaders believed at the end of World War II) from Soviet propaganda.
One thing argues overwhelmingly in support of the revisionist perspective, and that is the ceaseless efforts of self-interested parties to illegalize investigation or debate about the Holocaust story. They label a judicious Jew like David Cole “self-hating” and send him death threats until he recants. They label a gentile gentleman like Dr. Toben “anti-Semitic” and send him to prison! Any group so intent on suppressing free speech must be promoting lies.

In the 6000+ years of man’s history, the “pinnacle moment” is the Abomination of Desolation, the key event that will occur in the midst of the Tribulation (a terrible seven-year period that will mark the end of this age). It will be the time when the Man of Lawlessness (i.e., The Anti-Christ) will break his covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27) and establish himself as Almighty God (Daniel 11:36-37, 2 Thess. 2:2-4, Rev. 13:14-15). He will demand total, absolute allegiance and worship (Rev. 13:16-18).

This master politician of Europe’s Socialistic European Community (Daniel 9:26) will rise to power, but it isn’t until the key event of the Confirming of the Covenant with Israel that He will be revealed as the Man of Sin, Lucifer’s Anti-Christ (2 Thess. 2:7-8). At this time the Anti-Christ will establish himself as a capable leader and will emerge as the key player on the world stage. Due to the myriad of conflicts, crises and confusion, He will quickly militarize and rebuild Europe’s military strength (Daniel 11:38). It is during the first half of this seven-year period that he will win over the world’s affections. He will be the darling of the global media; he will be praised as the peace-maker/ fighter and protector of “human” rights (Rev. 6:2).

Hitler wanted to create a thousand year Third Reich of Nazi world domination. Fortunately, Hitler’s evil dream was crushed by the United States and our alies. Imagine what a large part of the world would be like if Hitler had succeeded. Hitler had his version of the madrassas when he took the German school system and turned them into radical, hate-filled places of totalitarian indoctrination. There would have been centuries of generations of people indoctrinated in the hate cult of Nazism had Hitler won the war. The Nazi empire would always be a threat to the world as it would…

Four days after Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab allegedly failed to blow up a Northwest Airlines jet from Amsterdam to Detroit, government officials, security experts and members of the public are still trying to figure out what went wrong and how air travel security can be improved. After the botched attack, at least one member of Congress, Peter King, R-N.Y., has suggested that profiling by religion or race could improve security. In an interview on Fox News, King said, “The fact is, while the overwhelming majority of Muslims are outstanding people, on the other hand, 100 percent of the Islamic terrorists are…

Two Guantanamo terrorists released in November were behind the Christmas Day attack in Detroit. Our security agencies ignored their own security measures and their own intelligence — including warnings from the terrorist’s father that his son was involved with terrorists. The chief of our Department of Homeland Security is preoccupied with covering her ass, and conferring citizenship rights on enemy combatants. Instead of throwing the enemy in the darkest possible dungeon and extracting information on the next terrorist attack, both she and her president are referring to him as an “alleged” bomber and helping him to lawyer up because after…

On Terrorism it’s Time to Know, to Profile, and to Discriminate

Posted 12/30/2009 ET

After the Christmas Day near disaster in Detroit, it is time for Americans to demand effective anti-terrorist actions.

Over eight years after 9/11 and 30 years after the Iranian illegal seizure of the United States embassy and the 444 day Iranian hostage crisis, Washington is still avoiding being intellectually honest about the war we are in.

Our Politically Correct Government is Making Life More Miserable For the Innocent

America is long overdue for a serious global strategy that includes targeting threats such as the terrorist killer at Fort Hood, the individuals recently arrested in Detroit, Denver and New York, and the five Americans detained in Pakistan.

The scale, persistence and sophistication of the enemy requires an honesty, a clarity, and a scale appropriate to the response.

Once again, instead of targeting the source of the threats, our politically correct government decides to make life more miserable for the travelling public by imposing hopelessly meaningless rules such as not allowing passengers to leave their seats in the last hour of the flight.  Bound by cultural sensitivities, the default reaction of the bureaucracy is to review the procedures and wring its hands ineffectively.

Today, because our elites fear politically incorrect honesty, they believe that it is better to harass the innocent, delay the harmless, and risk the lives of every American than to do the obvious, the effective, and the necessary.

It’s Time to Be Honest About What We Know
