I do not support anyone who is a truther or supports a truther. It is demeaning to anyone who follows the Birth Certificate Issue. Then on top of it all Alex Jones Bashed Palin, which is what lead to Manning discussing Jones. See it for yourself: I Support Alex Jones A Brither uniting with a Truthers harms the issue. especially after Alex Jones bashed Sarah Palin. Alex Jones: Sarah Palin will not Save You

Tom Stone: John Murtha forgot Semper Fi

|In this Sept. 13, 2006, file photo, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., meets with reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington. Murtha, an influential critic of the Iraq War whose congressional career was shadowed by questions about his ethics, died Feb. 8. He was 77. (AP)|
I have waited until the burial of Rep. John Murtha, D-PA, to allow an appropriate amount of time for the grieving of his family and the accolades of his accomplishments to subside before writing to put forth what is, in my opinion, a stain on his legacy that will never be cleared.
Since his death, I have heard not a word from the press or print media regarding his involvement in what had been labeled “The Hadithah Massacre.” While Murtha was clearly frustrated with the Iraq War and sought its end, his method to achieve that end was the blatant, unfounded defamation of eight young Marines involved in that incident.
His labeling of the young Marines as “cold-blooded killers,” and the officers as guilty of dereliction of duty in the reporting and investigating of the incident, without any substantive proof whatsoever, was shocking, irresponsible, and critical to the U.S. military’s obsessive pursuit of convictions of these eight young Marines.

The fear on the street is palpable. Ever since the election of Barack Obama as President of these United States in November 2008, coupled with the election of a democrat party majority in both the U.S. House and Senate, concern for the United States and personal safety has ignited like a fire in dry grass.
Sales of guns – black guns, rifles, shotguns and handguns (particularly 9mm) everywhere, have gone through the roof. AR15s have literally flown off of dealer shelves, and only now in the spring of 2009, have I seen the display samples of ARs begin to reappear on the wall of my favorite shooting emporium after the initial post election rush.

If BHO is removed from office because he is not a natural citizen, he then becomes a race martyr and Biden becomes president. Hillary probably becomes VP. How would this help conservatives in 2010 and 2012 — it would hurt us, right?
If the Lewinsky debacle had removed Clinton, Gore would have become President and cruised to his own electorial victory. This would have been a disaster.
I agree there is a puzzle here. I agree there is free speech & everyone has a right to pursue this. My question: is there some angle here that I’ve missed that makes this smart?

Begin with the end in mind, right? What is that end?
Well, in a way you’re looking at it from the wrong angle. It’s not a move to benefit “our side”, it’s a move to make sure the Constitution is enforced. So for that end, it matters little if Biden is in charge. Biden is constitutionally eligible to be President, so the job’s done.
As for whether this would be a step-up politically – he’s a lib, but he doesn’t pal around with terrorists and he’s not a Mudslime.
If we don’t care about that, then we have nothing to hang any other issues on.
Let’s ignore the law and the Constitution because it might not benefit us? I don’t think so.

That’s one of many questions being asked in the wake of Thursday’s plane crash in Austin, Texas, where a software engineer with an anti-government grudge crashed his single-engine plane into an office building that housed nearly 200 Internal Revenue Service employees.
