Obama may be in deep trouble… Chief Justice John Roberts, U.S. Supreme Court (via ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~)
The Federal Reserve does not want the world to know details of “emergency loans” it made to banks in the financial panic of 2008, but the Supreme Court this week effectively said the Fed must tell us.
It did this by today rejecting an appeal of a lower court ruling to force the Fed to reveal the information.
This leaves intact a court order that gives the Fed five days to release the records.Excerpt Read more at blog.heartland.org …
Arizona lawmakers want to revive legislation to make President Barack Obama and other presidential candidates show their birth certificates to prove their eligibility to run as natural-born citizens….
…The action by Arizona lawmakers comes after versions of the legislation died earlier in the 2-month-old regular session.
Now, as House and Senate committees near a deadline to consider legislation originated by the other chamber, proponents want to attach proposals onto unrelated bills Tuesday in the House and Wednesday in the Senate. -Source.A statement by CDR Charles Kerchner Ret of http://www.ProtectOurLiberty.org:
Hopefully the great state of Georgia will reclaim its leadership on this issue and do the right thing and stand up to support Article II, Section 1, of our U.S.Constitution since the cowards in Washington DC won’t and are allowing the identity theft fraud and usurper in Chief, Obama, to trample all over our constitution.
I do hope the GA leadership wakes up before it is too late for our Constitutional Republic and state sovereignty and their duty to protect their state’s citizens from an out of control Progressive/Socialist lead Washington DC elite establishment in both major parties. If the GA leadership has been warned or threatened about dire consequences for the state of GA via revenge from Obama on federal funded state projects, etc., they should not be fooled. Obama is not their friend and they should not keep feeding the crocodile in their row boat in an attempt to keep peace with it. Sooner or later they will have to take on Obama.
So better to do it by getting these laws in place before the next election. If Obama gets re-elected he’s going to rhetorically eat you all down there in GA anyway.
So get your defenses up now and protect Article II, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution so that our Constitution can still protect the great state of GA and its Citizens from Obama and his criminal machine now unconstitutionally in charge in Washington DC and intimidating everyone who crosses his path.
It will only get worse with Obama. It’s time to start fighting back with every tool the several states can muster before it is too late………………………
Congressman Ron Paul made a sweep of television appearances yesterday to voice his strong opposition to the attack on Libya, and making it clear that the president is subverting US national sovereignty by bypassing Congress to engage in illegal acts of aggression.
Appearing on Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano, the Congressman pulled no punches when explaining why he believes Obama went to the UN for authority to drop bombs on Libya, rather than congress.“I think he philosophically believes in one world government,” Paul stated.
“He wants to keep nudging us in that direction. I don’t believe he has a conviction that national sovereignty has any value. So therefore if they can diminish the Congress.” he continued.“If he diminishes the Congress and he can get his authority from the United Nations then this enhances what he believes in. But he is not alone, the leadership in both parties has been nudging in that direction for a long time.” the Congressman added.
“To think of all the effort that the founders went to to make the Congress the most important body, that they are now the most willing to give up their prerogatives and give it to the executive branch and the judicial branch, and onward and onward. Our leaderships in the House as long as I’ve been there have always deferred to the executive branch.” he said.
Paul once again urged the American people to recognize the military incursion into Libya as a war of opportunity.“It is unnecessary, it is wrong, it has nothing to do with national security, it has nothing to do with the defence of this country.” he said.“I think there is more to do with it than just that.
That may be their cover. It may be that oil is an important issue here. We didn’t go to Rwanda for humanitarian reasons, so I’m not to sure that oil might not be the real clincher here.”

About a week before the authors of a Center for a New American Security CNAS report warned that the most dangerous threat to the United States and its allies in the Western Hemisphere is the growth of powerful transnational criminal organizations TCOs, the Marine Corps Operations Center received a disturbing OPREP-3 from the Marine Corps Air Station at Yuma, Ariz.
It was a situation report that counter-cartel authorities told Homeland Security Today could represent a troublesome new development in the smuggling of illegals into the US.An OPREP-3 is an advisory on a specific significant event that is required to be issued to the highest levels of command.
And this OPREP-3 was certainly significant. It alerted that on March 11, 11 undocumented aliens who’d managed to enter the US from Mexico had been caught wearing US Marine Corps Marine Pattern MARPAT desert digital Battle Dress Uniforms BDUs.
But more troubling than that, when they were stopped by alert Border Patrol agents near Campo, Calif., the 11 illegals and the three US citizens who were wearing Marine woodland digital BDUs traveling with them were driving an allegedly stolen vehicle with altered US Government license plates.Excerpt Read more at hstoday.us …
Obama Administration Calls On United Nations To Support Gay Rights ‘Human rights are the inalienable right of every person, no matter who they are or who they love,’ Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe says.
The move is the latest by Obama in support of gay rights.Julie Mianecki, Washington Bureau March 23, 2011Reporting from Washington— The Obama administration Tuesday called on the U.N. Human Rights Council to fight discrimination against gays and lesbians around the world.
“Human rights are the inalienable right of every person, no matter who they are or who they love,” Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, U.S. ambassador to the council in Geneva, said in a statement.
“The U.S. government is firmly committed to supporting the right of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals to lead productive and dignified lives, free from fear and violence.”
The council has condemned human rights violations based on sexual orientation or gender identity, including rape, torture and murder.”It is a really pressing issue globally that there continue to be killings on the basis of sexual orientation and persecution on that basis,” said Suzanne Nossel, deputy assistant secretary of State for international organization affairs.
“I think this will stimulate dialogue and increase recognition of the importance of the issue among governments.”

Potential Republican presidential contender Herman Cain is known for his straight-talking style and willingness to discuss issues other politicians dare not touch. In his latest interview with Christianity Today, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO opened up about his faith, his calling in life and his aspirations for political office.
In blunt terms, Cain, a Christian, made no bones about his thoughts on the role of Muslims in modern American society and…“God didn’t keep me here to go play golf, and relax, and take life easy,” he said, referring to his against-the-odds battle back against stage-4 cancer.
“I believe that my life was spared because God had something really big that he wanted me to do. And that’s unfolding.”
Cain also admitted that the though of running for president is something he’s only considered recently. “It was only about nine or ten months ago that, as I watched the first year of the Obama administration, as I watched failing policies, as I watched broken promises, as I watched and read about 15 million people staying unemployed, I couldn’t sit back when I had collected some common sense ideas.”
“I cannot sit still and watch the direction of this country towards radical socialism and not do what I can do,” he said. “Is there somebody else who might be better at being President of the United States than Herman Cain?
There might be. But the people are going to determine that. But I couldn’t sit back and hope that a great leader emerges, or hope that someone becomes President that would tackle the issues the way I would tackle them.”

But, that was yesterday.
Today Barack Obama told reporters that Gaddafi can stay.
Politico 44 reported:President Obama indicated on Tuesday that Muammar Qadhafi may still have an opportunity to “change his approach” and put in place “significant reforms” in the Libyan government.
Asked by NBC’s Savannah Guthrie what the U.S. commitment is in Libya if Qadhafi remains in power but continues to pose a threat to his people, Obama appeared to leave the door open for political reforms.
“You are absolutely right that as long as Qadhafi remains in power, and unless he changes his approach and there are significant reforms in the Libyan government that allow the Libyan people to express themselves, there are still going be potential threats against Libyan people—unless he is going to step down,” Obama said.
His quick shift back to what he had earlier stated—that Qadhafi must step down—is more in line with the conclusion that he and his administration officials had come to weeks ago.
It’s settled then. Gaddafi can stay… Until tomorrow’s press conference.
W.H. to Hill: We’re not at war
By: Jonathan Allen
March 22, 2011 06:06 PM EDT
White House officials told Democratic and Republican congressional aides Tuesday that the U.S. is not at war with Libya and, without laying out a timeline, that the president hopes to hand over control of coalition military operations in the next few days.
Officials present included representatives from the White House Legislative Affairs Office, several members of the intelligence community, a Treasury aide and Gene Cretz, the recently recalled U.S. ambassador to Libya, sources told POLITICO.Aides in attendance said the administration didn’t shed much new light on the situation.
“You learn more by having read the paper,” one said. The unclassified briefing, delivered to House and Senate aides in a Capitol Visitor Center auditorium, comes amid criticism that the administration did not consult enough with Congress before launching missile strikes on Libyan air defenses over the weekend.Under the War Powers Act, the president is authorized to deploy U.S. forces for up to 48 hours before notifying Congress.
House and Senate leaders, as well as the chairmen and ranking minority members of relevant committees, were briefed on the administration’s plans during a Friday meeting in the Situation Room.

President Barack Obama has won praise from the media — and from himself — for putting the White House visitor logs online. Yet the visitor logs may hide more than they reveal. The White House is still holding back “tens of thousands” of visitor logs, according to congressional testimony last week by Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch, who also added that “the Obama administration is less transparent than the Bush administration.”
We also know that some of the most important presidential visitors don’t even walk into the White House. The administration meets K Street lobbyists at Caribou Coffee, and holds secret meetings in Jackson Place townhouses where there are no visitor logs. The visitor logs that have been released are problematic, because they are simply lists of names, with no way to verify whether a specific name belongs to a particular person………………………………………….
…Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, and so on. And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until ‘Obama is gone.’ .
Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven.
A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration.
Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can ‘opt out.’
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama’s history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court.Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years….
The longer the war continues, unfortunately, the more opportunity there is for young soldiers to behave badly and even brutally. In Iraq there was the Abu Ghraib scandal, where US troops humiliated and even tortured incarcerated opponents of the US occupation.
And now there is the Afghan “Kill Team” scandal in which rogue US troops apparently murdered civilians and then posed next to their carcasses, as if the dead were big game trophies. To its credit, the US Army has acted. Twelve men are currently being tried for their roles in killing three civilians as part of these activities. But the problem is apparently bigger than this as Germany‘s Der Spiegal magazine has reportedly obtained more than FOUR THOUSAND Kill Team photos, many apparently showing Americans posing with dead Afghans.
Der Spiegal, so far, plans on publishing no more than three photos; the popular news site Drudge.com has posted them as well, in today’s “lede.” Top US brass has been in full damage-control mode for over 100 days, according to media reports……
….but I just can’t trust Chairman Obama’s motives for his UNCONSTITUTIONAL attack on Libya.
Before we continue, Let me be, as our Kenyan President likes to say, “perfectly clear”: Moammar Qadaffi is a lump of excrement. He has been a state sponsor of terror who has taken American lives. The 1986 disco bombing and the Lockerbie bombing in 1988.
If anyone deserves to die, it’s this piece of filth. When Qadaffi Duck is out of power, the world will breathe a small sigh of relief. However, this article is not about Qadaffi.
This article is about another Islamic dictator, Barack Hussein Obama.Chairman Obama has given us no reason whatsoever not to doubt his motives or trust his judgement in this matter.
After all in no particular order : •Didn’t Obama’s Department of Injustice sue the state of Arizona for having the gall to defend itself against the Mexican Trickle Invasion and refuse to send troops to the southern border, yet he rushed to send troops to Haiti and Libya ? •
Didn’t Chairman Obama turn his back on the only genuine democracy movement in the Middle East, Iran’s Green Revolution ? Didn’t he say he didn’t want to be seen as “meddling” ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama sit on his hands while General Stanley McChrystal damn near begged for additional troops in Afghanistan, yet he rushed troops to Haiti and Libya ? •
Didn’t Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, hand 900 million dollars to Hamas ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama call Egypt’s new military dictatorship a “democracy” ? •Didn’t Chairman Obama ask the UN’s permission instead of Congress’ permission to attack Libya ? •Aren’t many of these so-called Libyan “freedom fighters” al-Qaeda operatives ?
Even the HuffingtonandPuffington Post admits it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/19/extremists-among-libya-rebels_n_837894.html
Given our Dear Leader’s 2+2=5 logic, is it really a stretch to question Chairman Obama’s motives in this matter ?
God help us all.

Obama doesn’t tell you what he’s thinking. He keeps his motives to himself. Cherished long-term ideological goals are advanced as pragmatic fixes to concrete problems in the present. Now we’re seeing the familiar domestic pattern in foreign policy as well.
Obama would like to see a more constraining international legal regime on war crimes, even at the cost of national sovereignty, not to mention the blood and treasure of the countries doing the enforcing.
In general, Obama has said little about his larger foreign policy goals.
To the extent that he has done so, Obama seems more the “realist” than an advocate of humanitarian intervention.
In 2005, Obama contacted Power after reading her book on genocide. There followed a long conversation, after which Power left Harvard to work for Obama, quic‘kly emerging as his senior foreign policy advisor.

THE CONSTITUTION LIMITS THE PRESIDENT EVEN AS “COMMANDER IN CHIEF” PART 1&2 (via ~ The GUNNY “G” BLOG & E-MAIL ~)
Mr. Pinko from iOwnTheWorld.com reports! Our founders would be appalled that a President of the United States could launch the country into an armed conflict half a world away without a formal declaration of war by Congress, much less barely any discussion of it by the House or by the Senate.
Article 1, Section 8, of our Constitution is unambiguous: Only Congress has the authority “to declare war.” James Madison warned that allowing the President to take the country into war would be “too much of a temptation for one man.”At this point in the warping of our system of checks and balances, a President can wage war almost whenever he feels like it — or at least whenever he can cobble together some “broad coalition,” as Obama put it, or a “coalition of the willing,” as his predecessor put it. Reporting from Rio de Janeiro— When they planned President Obama’s first foray to South America, White House aides envisioned a trip that wouldn’t pose any special diplomatic challenges. They built in plenty of sightseeing, and the president brought along not only his wife and two daughters, but also his mother-in-law and a close family friend.
Now the script is getting a frantic rewrite.Even as Obama kicks soccer balls with Brazilian children and delivers speeches on exports, the White House is scrambling to demonstrate he’s on top of the military campaign in Libya. Aides are giving minute-by-minute accounts of Obama’s phone calls with national security advisors and foreign leaders. They’re canceling news conferences on trade and swapping in briefings on cruise missile attacks. Juggling a new war and a five-day trade mission has made for some awkward moments.Excerpt Read more at youtube.com …
Glenn Beck”These problems, as you are beginning to see,” Beck said on his radio program this morning, “we are experiencing now the perfect storm, the beginnings of the perfect storm that I outlined to you years ago and now you can see how when I was talking about it and everybody was saying ‘Shut up! Who cares? It’s not going to happen.’

You can see it if you would just open your mind.”Islamic Antichrist‘? Why Glenn Beck raves about itBeck, who often invokes God in his commentary, continued, “It is an overwhelming force and it is global in nature and it is evil in nature. “Exclusive” story about Gaddafi using western journalists as human shields is “nuts, “outrageous,” “ridiculous,” and “absolutely hypocritical,” states CNN reporter involved in tourPaul Joseph WatsonPrison Planet.comTuesday, March 22, 2011Just as Bill Clinton’s bombardment of Serbia was launched on the back of a humanitarian hoax about fake concentration camps, establishment media outlets are already busy contriving phony stories about Gaddafi using “human shields” to convince the American people that the $100 million dollar a day attack on Libya is virtuous and noble.
The latest example comes from Fox News, who completely manufactured the claim that Gaddafi was using western journalists as human shields to prevent fighter jets from bombing his compound. When the U.S. government prepares to throw another $1 billion-plus at a new war even as Americans see their living standards eviscerated and record numbers are forced on food stamps, the propaganda necessary to sell the conquest has to be slicker than ever before……………………………
Support for Operation Odyssey Dawn is withering.China, which abstained from voting for the UN resolution to bomb Libya, is now calling for an immediate cease-fire, according to the AP.Yesterday, it emerged that Russia, which also abstained from voting, resisted pressure from Vladimir Putin to veto the resolution. Anyway, Russia has also called for an end to the airstrikes.Italy has threatened to withdrawauthorization for the use of its air bases.
Norway said its jets would not take part in the operation until the ‘command and control structure’ and ‘rules of engagement’ were clear. The only consolation is that Operation Odyssey Dawn has already accomplished its major goals, taking out Qaddafi’s air force and protecting Benghazi. Western forces will have no complaint with winding down airstrikes now.
Amid the ongoing coalitional bombardment of Libya it turns out President Obama may have had no constitutional authority for ordering US military involvement. US Rep. from Ohio Dennis Kucinixh says the use of US armed forces is unconstitutional, explaining Obama had no authority to commit US resources without congressional approval.
The US now finds itself involved into another war in addition to Pakistan, Iraq and Afghanistan. ‘Bombing villages in order to save villages’ — that didn’t work in Vietnam, Kucinich explained. In fact, he argued this time around the Libyan intervention could end up strengthening US enemies.
“Where are the planes?” kept crackling over U.S. Navy radios 50 years ago. The U.S. Naval armada 22 ships including the Carrier Essex loaded with deadly Skyhawk jets was sitting 16 miles off the Cuban coast near an inlet known as Bahia de Cochinos Bay of Pigs. The question—bellowed between blasts from a Soviet artillery and tank barrage landing around him–came from commander, Pepe San Roman, who led an amphibious force of 1500 Cuban freedom-fighters.“Send planes or we can’t last!” San Roman kept pleading to the very fleet that escorted his men to the beachhead and sat much closer to them than the Sixth Fleet sits to the Libyan coast today. Meanwhile the barrage intensified, the Soviet T-34 and Stalin tanks closed in, and San Roman’s casualties pile up.”If things get rough,” the heartsick CIA man Grayston Lynch, a multi-decorated WWII and Korea vet, radioed back, “we can come in and evacuate you.”
“We will NOT be evacuated!” Pepe roared back to his friend Lynch. “We came here to fight! We don’t want evacuation! We want more ammo! We want PLANES! This ends here!” Lynch kept sending the requests Washington-ward with all of San Roman’s urgency.
Along with the Bay of Pigs freedom fighters, Castro faced 179 bands of “bandits” Che Guevara’s term for the tens of thousands of Cubans fighting his dutiful Stalinization of Cuba that year, a rebel force probably greater than Gadaffi faces today — and with goals much clearer. But San Roman’s and Lynch’s urgency to Washington was futile…………………
When Ralph Nader wants to impeach a liberal African-American president for war crimes, you start to get the idea how odd these present times are. Odd and getting odder. Nor is it likely, in spite of the wall of comments concerning our Libyan intervention, that anyone can grasp the meaning. There seems one likelihood to suggest. It is that this won’t be the last intervention.
We live in that kind of world.Which is what kind of world, exactly? The kind we know from the history books — in which, rather than sort out their varied grievances like gentlemen, the non-gentlemen usually in charge of public affairs will bloody each other’s and other’s noses. It has always been thus. The 192 disunited nations that belong to the United Nations don’t get along and never have………………………
It was the Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad who wrote the book A message to the Black Man in 1965.March 19, 2011 the present leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan has a message to a particular Black man, the president of the United States Barry Hussein Soetoro.
Farrakhan obviously disagrees with Barry Hussein Soetoro’s recent announced third war in Libya. Farrakhan is so displeased with the president that he broadcast his message to president Barry Hussein Soetoro over the radio.
My advice would be, why don’t you organize a group of respected Americans and ask for a meeting with Qaddafi. You can’t order him to step down and get out. Who the hell, do you think you are? That you can talk to a man who build a country over 42 years and ask him to step down and get out.

What the media are missing is the fact that Obama’s war on Libya has no basis in law or the U.S. Constitution. He has decided to wage this war on his own with the authorization of the United Nations, not the U.S. Congress. The conservative Washington Times has it right. In an editorial headlined, “Obama’s illegal war. Congress, not the U.N., should authorize force against Libya,” the paper said, “Removing Moammar Gadhafi from power would probably advance the cause of freedom, but the United Nations has no legal authority to take a step of this magnitude.
By bowing to the will of the U.N. Security Council, President Obama is diluting the sovereign power of the United States.”It’s true that President Reagan attacked Libya in 1986. But that was retaliation in self-defense, which is always reserved for the Commander-in-Chief, after evidence showed that the Gaddafi regime had attacked and killed Americans in Germany through a terrorist bombing.“Today,” Obama said on March 19, “I authorized the Armed Forces of the United States to begin a limited military action in Libya in support of an international effort to protect Libyan civilians.
That action has now begun. In this effort, the United States is acting with a broad coalition that is committed to enforcing United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, which calls for the protection of the Libyan people.”Obama said, “I’ve acted after consulting with my national security team, and Republican and Democratic leaders of Congress. And in the coming hours and days, my administration will keep the American people fully informed. But make no mistake: Today we are part of a broad coalition. We are answering the calls of a threatened people. And we are acting in the interests of the United States and the world.”
The President has no such “authorization” from Congress and consultation with Congress is not sufficient under the Constitution.
The “rapture” has been a convenient escape hatch for Christians. When times worsened, the “rapture” was preached with great vitality. Millions were assured that before all hell breaks loose that they would be taken to heaven to watch the Great Tribulation from up above the heavens so bright.Lasseigne manufactures a “rapture” theology in Revelation 4:1–2. John told to “come up here” is thought to be a “symbolic picture of the rapture” 76.
This is a common interpretation among dispensationalists. Lasseigne isn’t the first one to use it. Tim LaHaye made it the cornerstone of his Revelation rapture theology. For those who claim to interpret prophecy literally, Revelation 4:1-2 says nothing about the church being taken to heaven prior to a seven-year tribulation period, but LaHaye argues for it anyway even though the phrase “seven years” does not appear in Revelation.

The US’s new war against Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi is the latest sign of its steady regional decline. In media interviews over the weekend, US military chief Adm. Michael Mullen was hard-pressed to explain either the goal of the military strikes in Libya or their strategic rationale.
Mullen’s difficulty explaining the purpose of this new war was indicative of the increasing irrationality of US foreign policy.
