Devvy Kidd — 9/11 Truth Seekers: The ‘lunatic fringe’ is whom?, Part 1

I forgot to put this quote in my column:
“In Defense of the World Order…US Soldiers would have to kill and die” *Aurthur Schlesinger, Jr., July / August ’95 Foreign Affairs – CFR’s Flagship Publication
“We shall have world government whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or conquest.” James Paul Warburg, during hearings Senate Resolution 56, revision of the UN Charter
“The U.S. military welcomes additional funds for special units. The Pentagon continues its downsizing in preparation for the New World Order.” Former Asst. Secretary of Defense and former Director of the CIA, John Deutch, Dec. 1, 1994, McNeil/Lehrer News Hour
“We are on the cutting edge of the New World Order here in Bosnia.” U.S. Army Major Bushyread, May 8, 1996, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather
“It’s a time that we are seeing a new and early 21st century world order being built,” Hagel said at an event honoring the 223rd anniversary of Poland’s constitution. The remarks recall President George H. W. Bush‘s 1991 State of the Union address, which heralded the promise of a “new world order” led by American military and moral standing.” Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, May 21, 2014
“The American peace has proven itself peaceful, stable, and durable. Yet no moment in international politics can be frozen in time: even a global pax Americana will not preserve itself.” To preserve this “American peace” through the 21st century, the PNAC report concludes that the global order “must have a secure foundation on unquestioned U.S. military preeminence.” The report struck a prescient note when it observed that “the process of transformation is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalying event –like a new Pearl Harbor.” The Project for the New American Century
How about the “old” Pearl Harbor?
FDR and the Pearl Harbor attack
“Stinnett spent 16 years doing his research and fighting in the courts to obtain a plethora of shocking documents under the Freedom of Information Act – their authenticity cannot be denied. This link to a .pdf file provides a few of the official documents, i.e., “It (official document) directs the Hawaiian U.S. Army commander, Lt. Gen. Walter Short, to follow an official U.S. government desire: ‘The United States desires that Japan commit the first overt act.’”
“Pearl Harbor was no surprise. “Day of infamy,” indeed.
“While Stinnett should be commended for his commitment to expose the truth and help clear the names of those military officers wrongly blamed, I was shocked by his comment on page 259: “As heinous as it seems to families and veterans of World War II,
of which the author is one, the Pearl Harbor attack was, from the White House perspective, something that had to be endured in order to stop a greater evil – the Nazi invaders in Europe who had begun the Holocaust and were poised to invade England.”
“There were 2,403 Americans who died at Pearl Harbor. According to Stinnett, who backs up FDR, those 2,403 Americans were acceptable casualties in order to take America into war. Stinnett goes on to say (same page), “Had the facts uncovered in this book been known immediately after the war ended, and had Roosevelt explained his war strategies and tactics to the families who lost their sons at Pearl Harbor, how different American history might be viewed today.”
“I feel confident in saying that the families of those 2,403 Americans slaughtered at Pearl Harbor with the full knowledge of a sitting president of the United States would not have been very understanding. I was further shocked by Stinnett’s next comments (same page), “The truth that has been told here does not diminish FDR’s magnificent contributions to the American people. His legacy should not be tarnished by the truth. As with all American presidents, Roosevelt must be viewed in the total context of his administration, not just Pearl Harbor.” Quite frankly, I would be ashamed to say such a thing.
“Allowing Japan to “commit the first overt act” – military aggression against America on our own soil – can hardly be called anything but murder.”
The new Pearl Harbor
“It just didn’t make any sense to me… When one starts using his own mind, and not what one was told, there is very little to believe in the official story.” September 5, 2007 – U.S. Navy ‘Top Gun’ pilot, Commander Ralph Kolstad
On September 11, 2001, almost 3,000 human beings from many countries………………..
