James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas (PV) released another video showing Jimmy Carr, the same CNN producer who called American voters “stupid as s*t” while speaking with two PV reporters in a prior meeting, is heard saying that he has no regrets over his past remarks. Carr, who produces “New Day,” also said in the previous meeting that President Trump was a “f**king crazy” clown.
In this meeting with a female PV reporter, Carr mentions the previous tapes from Project Veritas. One of which involved Atlanta-based John Bonifield, another producer, who admitted that the Russian collusion coverage on CNN is “mostly bulls**t,” but it’s great for ratings. Another video has Van Jones, a political commentator for the network and former Obama green jobs czar, saying that Russia is a “big nothing burger.”
Carr says that he was worried he might have been recorded when he had his initial meeting with Veritas.
“And it came out, and we’re all going holy s**t, how is this guy (Bonifield) so stupid, he’s talking to everyone and telling…saying X, Y, Z and CNN. Then I went…well, I talks to a couple of guys at a bar on Friday afternoon and I said things that we wouldn’t normally say,” Carr said. That’s putting it rather lightly.
“I mean granted, anything I’ve said to you I would defend on the record. I don’t think I’ve said anything wrong. The guy had his phone on in his pocket, but see he was just talking; he was just talking to a guy. No, it was a secret recording.
He had his phone, voice recording in his pocket. Talking, talking about ‘hey, do you think CNN’s coverage is a little ridiculous right now?’ And he said, well yeah I think it’s over the top and right it’s kind of bulls**t.
But I mean, that became the subject if three opening monologues on Fox News evening show. And I had the thought of literally, I’m not bullsh**ting you; I literally went ‘holy s**t’ I hope those two guys that I met weren’t trying t f**k with me and record me.
The Veritas video flashes back when Carr said that Kellyanne Conway looks like a woman who had been hit with a shovel, the Trump is a crazy f**king clown remarks, and disparaging American voters after saying he felt he didn’t think he said anything wrong. Carr also appears not to be a fan of “New Day” co-host Chris Cuomo.
“I cannot technically say anything, but I can simply say that there’s a lot of us that spend a lot of time in the newsroom criticizing just the same points,” he said about Cuomo. Carr goes onto say that he doesn’t have the gravitas, or a sibling (if he has one) in a position of power; Chris’s big brother is New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. He seems to be angling that he would be great at a hosting gig on the network
“Just can’t stand that guy when he talks, we’re like shut up,” Carr said of Cuomo. It’s been a rough week and it will continue to be one for the network that’s become the Right’s favorite punching bag. The latest trip up, besides the shoddy Russian-Trump story that led to three reporters being forced to resign, the network tracked down the creator of the Trump WWE tweet, where the president beats down Vince McMahon, who has the CNN logo superimposed on his face. The media went wild, accusing the Trump White House of encouraging violence against the media. The creator (HanA**sholeSolo) had supposedly been found and identified through Reddit, though CNN issued a veiled threat saying they would protect his privacy, but that could end if his behavior changed. Yeah, stepped on another landmine there, folks.
