The bigger issue in the Comey FBI lawsuit filed by the Cause of Action Institute (CoA) involves conflict of interest. There are just too many questions that his directorship has failed to clarify and this lawsuit is trying to get much needed answers. A timeline reveals these closely connected dates: March 2, 2017, new AG Jeff Sessions recuses himself from the Russian investigation; April 17, 2017, the CoA lawsuit is filed; May 9, 2017, President Trump fires Comey; May 17, 2017, a mere eight days later, Acting Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein appoints former FBI Director Mueller—a close friend of Comey–Special Council, making the Russian involvement story a formal investigation. Preposterous ramifications involve conflict of interest among Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein, each of whom is a D.C. Justice/FBI insider. The highly visible elephant in this mess involves how much air time the media continue to provide this story as the Obama personal records, Hillary Clinton e-mails and Clinton Foundation issues all seem to have disappeared.

Another sidebar involves House Judiciary Committee member Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) who is calling out “the delay caused by the meeting of Comey and Mueller the real collusion!” The House member says “Certainly, if that was a Republican situation, everybody would be up in arms.” Franks says neither Mueller nor Comey can credibly deny that they are close friends.” Comey served as a Deputy AG under Mueller during the Bush and Obama…
