RUSH: If there was a word, if there was a word that I would attach to the news today, it would be “clarity.” Some things are starting to come into focus.

Well, to people like you and me they have been in focus for a long time, but that focus and that clarity is starting to be reflected in the Drive-Bys as they continue to spin for what they now obviously believe is gonna be a pretty big Republican win one week from today.

I know some of you might think, “Hey, Rush, don’t be fooled. They’re sandbagging.”

I don’t think so, folks. I think they’ve given it their best shot and now we’re a week out and they have to be focused and concerned with their credibility.CNN poll:

“Voters Are Angry.” Seventy percent of Americans are angry at the direction the country’s headed. Fifty-three percent disapprove of Obama’s job performance. These numbers continue to worsen.

The news on Ebola today, in the Washington Post: “No Unity Over Ebola Monitoring of Travelers.” There isn’t any unity.

There is no singular policy.

It is an absolute joke, and the reason it’s an absolute joke is because of Obama.

You know, I joked yesterday we needed to quarantine Governor Christie. It turns out actually we need to quarantine Barack Obama. And apparently………MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

California on the Brink: 14 Rural Communities are Now Facing Total Water Depletion | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

Oct, 2014 by Dave Hodges Print this article Font size -16+ by Joshua KrauseStrange DangerdroughtNestled in the mountains of California, is the infamous tourist destination of Bodie. Once a thriving gold mining town, it is now an empty shell of its former self. As soon as the gold depleted in the early 20th century, the town faced decades of decline that it would neverrecover from.By the early 1960′s, the last handful of residents left the town. They leaving behind an eerie scene, filled with crumbling homes and businesses amidst a desolate landscape. However, gold isn’t essential to living. If the Western drought continues on its current course, then we have dozens of ghost towns to look forward to in the near future. So far the drought in California has been relentless.

Where I live in the Bay Area, we’ve had our first rain of the year today, if you could call it that. More like a fine mist. Normally we’ve gotten at least one rainy day by this time of year, but it’s looking like this winter is going to be just as bad as last year. The people living in the rural parts of the central valley are getting hit the hardest.

A total of 14 communities throughout the state are on the edge of water depletion. For now they’ve been able to keep the situation under control by allocating water from neighboring communities, but how much longer can they continue to do so?Last week it was reported that certain regions of California have about 2 months before they run out of water.

If we don’t get rain soon, it’s possible that some people may have to leave their homes. Furthermore, the timing of this rain is going to be crucial. As reported by Bloomberg News, California will continue to suffer chronic drought without substantial mountain snowfall this winter; snowfall that melts in spring replenishes the state’s water systems, but there has been a dearth of snowfall in recent years. “All eyes will be turned to the winter because it is a really critical winter, not just for California but the rest of the West and the lower Great Plains as well,” Mark Svoboda of the National Drought Mitigation Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, told Bloomberg. “For the majority of the West, the lifeline is the snow that falls in the Rockies, the snow that falls in the Cascades and the snow that falls in the Sierra,” he added. If we had 20 inches of rain in April or March, none of it would become snow, and none of it…….MORE!

Thanks To Obama’s Incompetence, Ebola Is Now Out Of Control In America | Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

October 16, 2014 1 comment

Oct, 2014 by Dave Hodges Font size -16+Posted on October 16, 2014by Michael SnyderObama SleepingMuch of the responsibility for the Ebola crisis that the United States is now facing can be laid squarely at the feet of Barack Obama. If Obama had banned all non-essential air travel between the U.S. andWest Africa,

Thomas Eric Duncan would have never gotten on to a plane to this country in the first place. And if Obama had directed the CDC to get all hospital staff in America some basic training about Ebola, we might not have two infected nurses at this point. But instead, this Ebola outbreak in America is now officially out of control.

The fact that one of the sick nurses got on to an airplane while she was feeling feverish boggles the mind, and it is creating a tremendous amount of obama ebolafear all over the nation. Already, one traveler showed up at Dulles airport in a full hazmat suit. The White House has announced that Obama has canceled a fundraising trip and will be holding an “emergency meeting” on Ebola. Hopefully he can start to get a handle on what is going on before it is too late.

News that a second nurse that was caring for Thomas Eric Duncan has Ebola sent shockwaves all over the country. Apparently those caring for him did not wear hazmat suits for the first two days. This is such a monstrous error that it is hard to put into words. What made things even worse is that this second nurse decided to get on a plane even after she began exhibiting symptoms…

Democratic Party advertisement even claimed that the Ebola threat is due to Republican cuts in funding of healthcare researchIf President Obama does not want the Ebola virus to kill Americans, why has his administration done nothing to restrict any flights from Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, the hot spots in Africa where it appears the virus is spreading?

One of the reason flights from Liberia were not stopped, we have been told, was the historical link of the U.S. with that nation, founded as a place freed slaves could migrate.

That is no excuse in the face of the threat of a single Liberian with Ebola getting off a flight in any U.S. airport.

Barack Obama will be known as the Ebola president… “Obama is recognized by most Americans to be the worst president in the history of country. ”

Barack Obama will be known as the Ebola president

Obama is recognized by most Americans to be the worst president in the history of country.

Whether he’s judged by his sheer incompetence, his colossal ignorance on most public policy matters including economics, the failure of just about all of his public policy initiatives or his complete failure to provide leadership and manage the challenges facing our country, by any objective standard, it is abundantly clear that Obama is the worst president we’ve ever had. Since he’s needlessly and recklessly allowed Ebola into this country to possibly infect millions of Americans, he will also be known by history as the Ebola president.

We are now told by the CDC that Ebola could infect 1.4 million Americans by January. … In the instance of every other Ebola breakout in Africa, we’ve had responsible leadership in the White House that secured our borders, stopped airline flights from the countries experiencing Ebola epidemics, and took other measures to protect Americans from becoming infected with the Ebola virus.

But right now we do not have responsible leadership in the White House. Instead, we have a president who is so intent on keeping our borders open to allow more illegal immigrants in that he seems to have no worries about how many millions of American might end up being infected with Ebola. And there is also another major reason Barack Obama refuses to do anything resembling securing the borders to keep out Ebola patients or any other reason.

He still plans to implement amnesty for tens of millions of illegal immigrants, after the 2014 mid term elections and subsequent runoffs are finished. If he secured the borders for the reason of keeping Ebola out of our country, something any responsible president would have done long ago, it would keep out some of the illegal immigrants…
