Vinson apparently showed no symptoms while on the return flight to Dallas, meaning fellow passengers are at extremely low risk. Still, CDC Director Tom Frieden said in a press conference, “she should not have been on that plane.”It’s unclear if the CDC or officials ever instructed the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital workers caring for Thomas Duncan to avoid crowded areas and not to fly.

President Obama’s Ebola problem questions about the president’s competencyThe Hill ^ | October 16, 2014 | Justin SinkPosted on 10/16/2014, 9:48:52 AM by Cincinatus’ Wife

The Ebola crisis in the United States has become an anchor threatening to sink the Obama presidency.

Already under fire from critics who saw the federal response to the outbreak as disorganized and timid, things went from bad to worse on Wednesday when it was revealed a second nurse had contracted the disease while treating a Liberian man at a Dallas-area hospital.

More alarmingly, the diagnosis was made just hours after the nurse, 29-year-old Amber Vinson, had flown from Cleveland to Dallas on a commercial airliner, despite reporting to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that she had a fever.

That Vinson was allowed to travel at all — along with continued questions about why federal procedures for Ebola treatment appear not to have………..

America on the edge….

By Jeff Crouere Friday, September 12, 2014America on the edgeToday our country is in the midst of a battle for survival. We face a well armed and well funded terror army, Islamic State, which has grown to 31,500 fighters, including 2,000 from Western nations.

In his recent national address, President Obama outlined a more aggressive approach to attack the terrorists in Iraq and Syria. Unfortunately, battling the terrorists in the Middle East is not enough.

Down With the Presidency

by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

The presidency must be destroyed. It is the primary evil we face, and the cause of nearly all our woes. It squanders the national wealth and starts unjust wars against foreign peoples that have never done us any harm.

It wrecks our families, tramples on our rights, invades our communities, and spies on our bank accounts.

It skews the culture towards decadence and trash. It tells lie after lie. Teachers used to tell schools kids that anyone can be president. This is like saying anyone can go to Hell. It’s not an inspiration; it’s a threat.

Melowese Richardson voted a reported six times for President Obama in November of 2012. Twice she used her real name, then another four using the names of her relatives. If convicted she faces a maximum of 12 years in prison.

More disturbing is that Richardson is a long time poll worker and has worked for the Board of Elections in Hamilton County, Ohio since 1998. People like her were watching the polls when President Obama won by close margins, often with “odd” voting totals, in November.

Among these statistical anomalies occurred in Pennsylvania, when President Obama received over 99% of vote at polls where GOP inspectors were removed. In addition, in those areas turnout was somehow “30%” above government numbers.

THE GOP DIED LAST NIGHT… ( See Alan Stang/Thos. DiLorenzo Related Articles…)

The Republican Party died last night.

Somewhere in the suburbs of Cleveland, on the shore of Lake Erie, in the decisions of some suburban voters, the Republican Party stopped being a nationally viable political organization.

Oh, it will continue to exist.

But it will likely never again truly contest for the presidency. The nation has changed, the values have been replaced, the demographics are different.

The demographics are insurmountable.

Last night was a tipping point, a dance on a razor’s edge, and it went the other way. What was undoable last night will become increasingly impossible with each passing year. The margins will grow, the base will shrink, the tide will turn and the day will pass.

The Republican Party died last night.

Oh, it will continue to exist.

There will be the name and the elephants, but nationally, conservatism is playing against an impossibly stacked deck.

The nation had a clear choice. Each party ran candidates who were true to type. The Republicans ran conservatives and the Democrats ran liberals and it was a rout. Nothing changed except that Republicans got rebuffed across the board.
