Obama Spills the Beans on the Citizenship Fig Leaf

Based on the statements from most House GOP leaders, it appears that the major fig leaf in the latest push for open borders will be “legalization without citizenship.” Let’s put aside for a moment the fact that the Dream Act will directly or indirectly grant citizenship and bring in millions of illegal immigrants without any other amnesty legislation. The broad notion of a permanent or long-term legal status without citizenship is preposterous. Look no further than Obama’s response to the GOP’s principles on immigration:
A reform of the absurd and obsolete immigration laws of the United States is long overdue, and is now finally under discussion.
Tea Party Republicans are acting out the fear and hatred of foreigners which is typical of this faction. Wall Street Democrats and corporate Republicans are attempting to implement the financier program of using foreign workers to drive down domestic wages, further weakening the trade union movement. And as usual, the two Wall Street-controlled political parties are doing everything to obscure the main considerations that ought to guide this reform.
Less than two weeks after becoming the first sitting cabinet member in American history to be held in contempt of Congress, disgraced Attorney General Eric Holder spoke in front of the highly controversial National Council of La Raza — it means “The Race” in Spanish — and issued threats against ongoing state and local efforts to control illegal immigration or enforce voter-ID requirements.
President Obama demanded that his presumptive Republican challenger, Governor Mitt Romney, “put aside his criticisms of me until the issue of who is to be the next president is decided by the voters.”
Dr. James David Manning talks about Marco Rubio.
“ATLAH: THAT’S WHAT GOD SAID.”
Anointed to establish families, churches and businesses, unlike any the world hath seen. Indeed the final product of the land, ATLAH, will boast of being the seat of the world’s banking, business, and education centers.
So let’s go down the list. He began with ObamaCare…which very well might be ruled unconstitutional quite soon. Most recently he bypassed Congress and enacted The Dream Actall by his lonesome after stating a year ago that he didn’t have the power to do that.
It’s the first time Obama has used executive privilege since taking office. A White House aide said the president had gone longer without asserting the privilege in a congressional dispute than any other president in the last three decades.

On the internet under FoxNews.com on June 15, 2012 was an article by Kristain Ramos titled, “Obama’s immigration move is smart, fair policy”. So once again wondering about such an Obama-pandering article being published by one-time, former legitimate news service Fox News, pre selling out to Saudi Arabia,
“Mr. President, why do you favor foreign workers over Americans?” That was the obvious question Barack Obama refused to answer when a reporter, doing his job, sought an answer, rather than a canned teleprompter presentation.
Judi McLeod: Is Obama making himself ‘legal’ in removing 800,000 illegal immigrants from deportation? (“Patriots on the hunt for Obama’s elusive birth certificate should be looking for his DNA, the only irrefutable proof of who and what Barry Soetoro, posing as Obama , really is”)
Knowing now that nothing ever happens by chance with Barack Hussein Obama; that everything is, and has been scripted for him by Marxist progressives, shouldn’t folk be looking beyond the obvious on his Executive Order on Amnesty?
Is Barack Obama’s Amnesty bombshell removing 800,000 illegal immigrants from the deportation process the X That Marks the Spot to the real reason why his birth certificate remains missing? Is the more valid number taken off the deportation process 800,000 illegal immigrants—and one?
Is Obama granting amnesty to himself?Have the elusive documents of the 44th President of the United States been waiting for birth in the Amnesty bombshell? Being famously undocumented himself, Obama has made it de rigueur for others to be comfortable in the now accepted state of “undocumented”.
Prison Planet.com » 10 Things That Will Happen If Barack Obama Continues To Systematically Legalize Illegal Immigration
Barack Obama seems completely obsessed with systematically legalizing illegal immigration. The United States borders a failed narco-state that is one of the most crime-ridden nations on the entire planet, but Barack Obama refuses to secure the border and the consequences for the American people have been absolutely catastrophic.
Right now it is already costing us tens of billions of dollars a year to provide welfare for illegal immigrants and to educate their children in our public schools. Right now illegal immigrants are already working millions of jobs that should belong to American workers. Right now Mexican drug cartels are already active in more than 1,000 U.S. cities. But apparently that is not good enough for Barack Obama.
First the LGBT lobby extracted an about face from Obama on marriage equality, moving him to declare his support for same sex marriage. Then today, Obama responded to the needs of the Latino community by allowing students in the U.S. who are already in deportation proceedings, or those who qualify for the DREAM Act, to remain in America without threat of deportation.
On Friday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said that the president’s shift on enforcing immigrations laws and granting certain privileges among illegal immigrants is “out-and-out lawlessness.”
The Obama Administration will stop deporting and issue work permits to as many as 800,000 young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have never committed a crime, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Friday.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration will stop deporting and begin granting work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives. The election-year initiative addresses a top priority of an influential Latino electorate that has been vocal in its opposition to administration deportation policies.
Vice-Presidential frontrunner Marco Rubio told the elitist Council on Foreign Relations during an event last week that the American people should be prepared for a war with Iran.
The illegal immigration debate has become an urgent focal point of American politics. Liberal politicians from the White House on down have vigorously advocated for illegal immigrant amnesty and lax border enforcement in a naked attempt to bolster prospective voter rolls.
This controversy has been brewing for some time in Maryland, whose Hispanic population more than doubled between 2000 and 2010. Under Governor Martin O’Malley’s sanctuary policies the state has become an illegal alien magnet. The current cost of illegals in Maryland is estimated to be $1.7 billion per year, more than three-quarters of the state’s $2 billion structural deficit.
Taxpayer ire overflowed this March with the passage of Maryland’s Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act, granting in-state college tuition rates to illegals. A nonpartisan coalition of concerned Marylanders launched a petition drive to delay the measure and place it on the 2012 ballot as a referendum. They needed 55,736 signatures. They received twice that amount………….

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the Obama Department of Homeland Security (DHS) detailing behind-the-scenes efforts by the Obama administration to bypass Congress and grant amnesty at least one million illegal aliens by suspending immigration deportation proceedings against “DREAM (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors) Act kids” and other illegal aliens…
The records include emails from press outlets investigating the Obama administration’s efforts to suspend the deportations of students who would be covered under The DREAM Act, which was under consideration by Congress. The DREAM Act would have permitted certain immigrant students who have grown up in the U.S. to apply for temporary legal status, eventually obtain permanent legal status, and become eligible for U.S. citizenship if they go to college or serve in the U.S. military. The DREAM Act has failed repeatedly to pass Congress. The DREAM Act initially could provide amnesty for over one million illegal immigrants and would have cost over $6 billion a year….
“These documents show the Obama administration is lying about its stealth amnesty activities and its alarming contempt for Congress and the rule of law. Frankly, these documents show that Obama immigration officials don’t even know what the law is! The Obama administration cannot simply pick and choose which federal immigration laws it will enforce. In its zeal to curry favor with the illegal alien lobby and secure Hispanic votes for a second term, the Obama administration is exercising raw executive power to change the law by granting illegal aliens amnesty in a way that strikes at the heart of our constitutional system and the rule of law. This is a festering constitutional crisis,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton…

This, of course, is because of the large amount of briefcases that have been exploding across America killing… zero people.
Once again, Janet Napolitano, is asking that “if you see something, say something”.
We’d like to thank her for once again providing us with the opportunity to point out a few of the suspicious activities we’ve noticed of late.
It’s hard to know where to begin – there are so many things.
We find it suspicious that both Janet Napolitano nor Michael Chertoff have been investigated or charged for their part……………….

The Obama Administration today announced a virtual amnesty-by-decree for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, whose deportations will be “indefinitely delayed”. In addition, Obama finally announced a jobs program – but for ILLEGAL ALIENS, not citizens – as those 300,000 illegals will also become eligible for “work permits“.
This action represents an administrative end-run around Congress, which twice rejected the ‘DREAM Act’ in 2010. As disgraceful as is this usurpation of Congressional authority, this announcement is even worse than is being reported.

The Dream Act: A Plan by Obama to Subvert the US Military?

The Dream Act has been heralded as a good thing for America. However, Americans who are worried about their security should examine this Bill carefully. The Goal of the US Military is to protect the Citizens of the United States. There is a big question that needs to be answered here. What country in the world has or wants illegal aliens in their military. I mean, our military is our last line of defense. Do we really want to depend on illegal aliens in our Military?
Dream Act proponents say to not worry about illegals with a criminal history getting into this program. Yet there are lots of loopholes for the Government to waive the requirement of no “serious crimes” as to eligibility for the program. Look at this verbage on the program:
For example, some students may have committed minor crimes such as misdemeanors before they turned 18; those minor incidents may not hinder their application process for Conditional Permanent Residency as much as being convicted of a felony would. However, since there are no guidelines, we cannot be 100% positive on which crimes would impact one’s application.
As the bill is written now Government agencies could “waive” or “twist” the provision of keeping out those with criminal histories on a case by case basis. That’s why there are no “hard” rules about crimes in the act. Therefore, we could have minor criminals at best and narco-terrorists at worst in the military. Not a comforting thought for most Americans.

President Obama says Republicans will “never be satisfied” by the amount of border protection he has ordered.
“Even though we’ve answered these concerns, I’ve got to say i suspect there’s still some who are trying to move the goal posts on us one more time. You know, they said ‘we needed to triple the border patrol.’
Well, now they’re going to say we need to quadruple the border patrol, or they’ll want a higher fence. Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they’ll want alligators in the moat. They’ll never be satisfied.

President Obama to ramp up immigration fight

President Barack Obama is ramping up his push to overhaul the country’s immigration system, launching a sustained personal campaign to pressure Congress into taking up the controversial issue that will rely in part on recruiting outside help.
“He is committed and will be leaning into this issue in a very serious and very vigorous way,” Melody Barnes, director of the Domestic Policy Council, said Tuesday at a briefing for a small group of reporters. “We are upping the intensity on this issue.”
Barnes and Cecilia Munoz, the White House director of intergovernmental affairs, detailed a strategy of pressuring Congress from the outside by deploying Cabinet members, senior staff and business, labor and groups to make the case.
The administration took a similar approach ahead of a surprisingly close Senate vote late last year on the Dream Act, which would have provided a path to citizenship for young illegal immigrants who were brought to the country as children.

This morning, political commentators are paying a great deal of attention to one of the Los Angeles Times’ stories about Barack Obama’s plans for a Republican takeover of Congress. Unfortunately, they are focusing on the wrong one. Most commentators spent the morning quoting the president’s remarks on a black radio program that a GOP-dominated Congress will result in “hand-to-hand combat.” The reality is most of the action will take place behind their backs and over their heads. All indications are, if Obama cannot get his legislative agenda enacted by Congress, he will impose it by decree.
The evidence comes buried elsewhere in today’s L.A. Times in a piece by Peter Nicholas and Christi Parsons under the hum-drum headline, “Obama Reshapes Administration for a Fresh Strategy.” The story makes clear the “fresh strategy” borders on government by executive fiat. It begins, “As President Obama remakes his senior staff, he is also shaping a new approach for the second half of his term: to advance his agenda through executive actions he can take on his own, rather than pushing plans through an increasingly hostile Congress.” This rule by divine right of kings is confirmed by no less an Obama insider than David Axelrod, who said, “It’s fair to say that the next phase is going to be less about legislative action than it is about managing the change that we’ve brought.” The Times states candidly:

Do Democrats really believe Americans don’t see through their schemes? Apparently they do. Witness the hubbub over the hotly debated military appropriations bill that went down in a procedural vote Tuesday.
The Democrats’ ploy, practiced over the years by both parties depending on which one was in power, works this way: You take a bill that addresses a clear need and has strong popular support; in this case, “… a defense bill that provides our troops with the equipment and resources they need to protect themselves and keep our nation safe,” as described by Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn. Then you lard it up with stuff the opposing party assuredly will find unacceptable.
When the voting is done, the majority party can accuse the minority of being a “party of no,” or playing partisan politics with important legislation most Americans support.
Everyone knows the Senate would have passed the $726 military appropriations bill, probably unanimously, if it had been submitted solo. But the Democrats added repeal of the don’t-ask, don’t-tell law banning service by open homosexuals as well as the so-called DREAM Act, which would bestow citizenship upon illegal immigrants’ children who attend college or serve in the U.S. armed forces. Critics call this a form of amnesty and won’t support it.
The DREAM Act deserves to be debated on its own merits; it clearly does not belong in a military-appropriations bill. And Defense Secretary Robert Gates has made clear he wants Congress not to act on don’t-ask, don’t-tell at least until after Dec. 1, when the military will complete a study on the law’s effects. Meanwhile, President Obama has stirred the pot further by nominating a supporter of don’t-ask, don’t-tell, Gen. James Amos, to lead the Marine Corps.
Majority Democrats carried a 56-43 procedural vote but needed 60 to continue. Democrats Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor of Arkansas both voted with the Republicans; Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid joined them so that he’ll be able to bring up the bill later. Sen. Reid’s vote signals Democrats might try to push the don’t-ask, don’t-tell and DREAM Act provisions during a lame-duck session after the Nov. 2 election.
The narrative of this bill is practically indistinguishable from the plot device used in the 1939 film “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,” in which a dishonest senator slips a bit of graft, in the form of an illicit dam project, into a spending measure most senators support. Angrily denouncing his one-time protege, Sen. Smith, corrupt Sen. Paine declares: “To prevent his expulsion, he’ll hold up this deficiency bill — vital to this country, which must be passed today!”
That’s all the more reason Americans should not be fooled by the hoary rhetoric surrounding the military-appropriations bill. They should insist it be stripped of irrelevant fluff and partisan gamesmanship, and put to a vote without further delay.
The so-called DREAM Act would create an official path to Democratic voter registration for an estimated two million college-age illegal aliens. Look past the public relations-savvy stories of “undocumented” valedictorians left out in the cold. This is not about protecting “children.”
It’s about preserving electoral power through cap-and-gown amnesty.Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced this week that he’s attaching the DREAM Act to the defense authorization bill. With ethnic activists breathing down his neck and President Obama pushing to fulfill his campaign promise to Hispanics, Reid wants his queasy colleagues to vote on the legislation next week.Open-borders lawmakers have tried and failed to pass the DREAM Act through regular channels for the past decade. That’s because informed voters know giving green cards to illegal alien students undermines the rule of law, creates more illegal immigration incentives and grants preferential treatment to illegal alien students over law-abiding native and naturalized American students struggling to get an education in tough economic times.
This bad idea is compounded by a companion proposal to recruit more illegal aliens into the military with the lure of citizenship a fraud-ridden and reckless practice countenanced under the Bush administration.DREAM Act lobbyists are spotlighting heart-wrenching stories of high-achieving teens brought to this country when they were toddlers. But instead of arguing for case-by-case dispensations, the protesters want blanket pardons.
The broadly drafted Senate bill would confer benefits on applicants up to age 35, and the House bill contains no age ceiling at all. The academic achievement requirements are minimal. Moreover, illegal aliens who didn’t arrive in the country until they turned 15 — after they laid down significant roots in their home country — would be eligible for DREAM Act benefits and eventual U.S. citizenship. And like past amnesty packages, the Democratic plan is devoid of any concrete eligibility and enforcement mechanisms to deter already-rampant immigration benefit fraud.
The DREAM Act sponsors have long fought to sabotage a clearly worded provision in the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act IIRIRA that states: “Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State or a political subdivision for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit in no less an amount, duration, and scope without regard to whether the citizen or national is such a resident.”
The provision, known as the DREAM Act, would allow those who can “prove’ they illegally broke into this country as children the right to full American citizenship if they attend college or join the military.
By hitching this ridiculous measure to a military spending bill, Reid single-handedly proved his subservience to the Open Borders Lobby and held up critical funding for our troops, currently fighting one declared war and one war the president pretends has come to an end.
Obama regularly makes the military pay the price for his domestic policy agenda, whether cutting their budget and theirs alone, or throwing the government‘s case against the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
Our troops deserve better. But this is simply the first move in his full court press for amnesty.
