A Civilian-Military face Off?

On July 26, 2007, another 13 American soldiers were killed in Iraq; while Congress is on their month long vacation, our soldiers will continue dying in this unconstitutional invasion built on a mountain of lies. Kids sent into war unprepared for what it really means. The tragic results are everywhere and this is just one example: Marine: Unit Was Ordered to ‘Crank Up Violence Level’ in Iraq.

Obama’s War On Democracy…

June 26, 2012 11 comments

by Stephen Lendman

In June 2009, Obama orchestrated Honduran President Manuel Zelaya’s ouster. A US supported fascist despot replaced him.

For good reason, Honduras is called the murder capital of the world. Independent journalists are killed. So are protesters for democratic change.

“I don’t see it as an execution, sir,” he told the judge, according to the newspaper. “I see it as killing the enemy.”

He said Marines consider all Iraqi men part of the insurgency. “Because of the way they live, the clans, they’re all in it together,” he said.” That whole mess is just one tragedy after another. Just to digress a moment, remember this newspaper I scanned years ago? See here. What it says that should chill everyone:

“Some Marines say they can see the day when the Corps will be required to execute Haiti-like missions, or worse, within the borders of the United States….Because of the rising potential for civil disobedience within the inner cities, it is inevitable the U.S. military will be employed more often within American borders….

To enable the Marines to execute these new domestic missions in the same way that they do abroad, Major Reeves calls for major alterations in U.S. laws.” Sacramento Bee (scanned here: Forum section), November 30, 1997:

Our civilian-military face off – The Bill of Rights no obstacle for Corps”…..

Dead Birds Falling from the Sky Again in the US | EUTimes.net

Rain of dead birds: Is Beebe Arkansas haunted or bewitched? Now this cannot be a coincidence. Almost a year to the day after we reported in this column a rain of thousands of dead birds in Beebe Arkansas, there are reports of a repeat of the event in 2012. The birds seemed to be crazed, as if they were driven by super-natural forces. What is happening in Beebe?

Obama’s ineligibility: Congress is hopelessly corrupt and must be completely replaced in 2012

Obama’s ineligibility: Congress is hopelessly corrupt and must be completely replaced in 2012

Obama’s ineligibility:

Congress is hopelessly corrupt and must be completely replaced in 2012:

Our permanent political establishment hopes that, with the help of an obsequious mainstream media, the public will forget the politicians’ complicity in the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people.

It is truly sad that some members of Congress, who citizens expect to possess higher standards of behavior, have been co-opted to participate in this deceit.

Col. Chris Gibson (Ret.) is serving his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives from the 20th District of New York.

Rep. Gibson retired from the U.S. Army in 2010 after having served four combat tours in Iraq and deployments to Haiti and Kosovo.

He received a Ph.D. in government from Cornell University and numerous medals and awards from his military service.

One could be mistaken for believing that Rep. Gibson is a knowledgeable, independent thinker and a man of integrity.

Unfortunately, Gibson appears to be just your run of the mill politician swapping out honesty for political expediency in exchange for the continued support of the Republican establishment and done at the expense of constituents’ legitimate concerns.

When citizens in his district questioned Obama’s eligibility for the Presidency, Gibson responded:……………..

During his years in the Army, Gibson served in four combat tours in Iraq, once in Haiti following the earthquake there in 2010, and took part in a narcotics intercession program in the Southwestern U.S. He has also taught Politics at West Point Academy, having earned a Ph.D. in Government.

Gibson had stated last week that he would vote in favor of raising the debt ceiling “because it includes principles of a bill he voted for last week: one that called for cuts in spending, caps on future spending and a balanced budget amendment.” He is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Agriculture Committee.

Gibson’s constituent reported that he spoke with a staffer in Gibson’s office named Ann and another staffer, Mike Sheehy, who promised to investigate “WHY this particular issue (presidential eligibility) is being swept under the rug.” He stated that he finally obtained Sheehy’s response after directing six inquiries to Rep. Gibson’s office over a period of more than two months.

On July 29, the constituent told The Post & Email that “I spoke to reps for him in upstate New York who passed the call directly to the DC office. They affirmed that they had three communications from me and were sorry that no one had gotten back and someone would be directly.” He also said that he sent links to a recent article in Canada Free Press by Col. Lawrence Sellin (Ret.), of which there have been many in a series, and the Call to Action issued by Brig. Gen. Charles Jones III (Ret.) published at The Post & Email here.

Is the Antichrist Approaching?

Posted By Sonja Corbitt On April 29, 2011 @ 12:00 am In Featured on Front Page,Grow,The Marquee,What We Believe | 9 Comments

Uprising after uprising in the Middle East; sexual and intellectual scandal in the Church; earthquakes in Chile and Haiti; tsunamis in Indonesia and Japan; and financial collapse in almost every market: given the startling increase in the frequency of global crises—political, religious, financial, natural—one is tempted to begin looking for Antichrist and despair for the future.

The pervading anxiety and fear is exacerbated by non-Catholic proliferation of “end time” fiction and even some Catholics who erroneously promote the imminent arrival of the Antichrist and the Second Coming. This idea has distinct emotional appeal in our troubled times, since one way or another, it would all end soon, and possibly without our having to do anything at all.

How Killing Libyans Became a Moral Imperative by Patrick J. Buchanan

March 25, 2011 Leave a comment

Since Bush I, we have intervened in Panama, Kuwait, Iraq, Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Libya. Had Sens. John McCain and Joe Lieberman gotten their way, we would have been fighting Russians in Georgia and bombing Iran.

Add up all those we have killed, wounded, widowed, orphaned or uprooted, and the number runs into the millions. All these wars have helped mightily to bankrupt us.

Have they made us more secure?

Japanese Nuclear Meltdown Would Be Hundreds of Times Worse Than Chernobyl

March 12, 2011 1 comment

Reports are emerging from Japan of a second nuclear reactor experiencing problems after a 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck the country, the largest in its history. Few details about the second plant are available at this time.

Meanwhile, at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, Japanese nuclear officials report radiation levels inside the plant have surged to 1,000 times their normal levels after the cooling system failed. The earthquake was 1,000 times more powerful than the one that struck Christchurch in New Zealand recently. It was also a thousand times more powerful than the quake that hit Haiti last year……………………..

The Death of Common Decency ~ “I too took that same oath.As a retired Marine Colonel, please allow me to defend my Marine Lance Corporal Snyder in the court of public opinion…”

March 3, 2011 Leave a comment

The Supreme Court ruled that the Westboro Baptist Church‘s behavior in demonstrating at the funeral of Marine Lance Corporal Matthew Snyder was protected speech under the First Amendment of the Constitution.

The Court of Public Opinion must hold the demonstrators to a different standard.

Lance Corporal Snyder swore to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. He died defending the very rights of the people who violated his and his family’s right to mourn.

I too took that same oath.As a retired Marine Colonel, please allow me to defend my Marine Lance Corporal Snyder in the court of public opinion where I pray he receives a fair hearing.

To deny the family of a slain serviceman or woman a peaceful burial is immoral, despicable, and dishonorable. It is the highest form of hatred imaginable. Whether it is what I saw in Haiti, Bosnia, Afghanistan or Iraq, the physical violence is horrible but psychological violence leaves scars that only prayer will heal.

I have personally made a casualty call which means that I was tasked with telling a Marine’s family that a terrible tragedy had befallen his family.Bear with me as I describe for you that moment in the lives of six people that fateful day.

May you see through your eyes what I saw through mine……………………….

FEMA Was In New Zealand When Quake Struck

February 24, 2011 1 comment

Why all these “coincidences” involving natural disasters? Are they not “natural” after all? Here’s the excerpt that caught my eye this morning. It may not be evidence of anything, yet it might.

After all, the U.S. military had a huge operation “simulating” a tsunami scenario in Haiti in full swing at the time of the Haiti quake, and we also know the HAARP facility was pumping full blast at the time.

No accidental “coincidence” there. From NZHerald.co.nz Defence Force The Air Force has been helping to evacuate people from Christchurch. A Royal New Zealand Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft evacuated people from Christchurch to Wellington this morning, and a second will follow, the Defence Force said.

It said staff had been preparing for a large exercise in the region and were now instead helping with the rescue effort.
